This was the 18th time we have 'staycationed' at Flowery Dell and the high standards set by the team continue to impress us every visit. We are very familiar with the Wild Cherry Lodge and have had many happy holidays with friends and family here as it is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We really appreciate the special touches such as a card and local hamper to celebrate our birthday/anniversary.

This stay was slightly different as we are now empty nesters with a dog looking for somewhere to relax for a week. We have explored North Yorkshire and Northumbria in previous years and tried many attractions and varied walks nearby. There really is a lot to see and do within easy reach of Richmond. There are excellent pubs and restaurants nearby and we recommend trying Rafael'o Italian or Royal India and Amontola Indian if you enjoy either cuisine. Shopping is good in Richmond and the large Tesco at Caterick Garrison is less than 10 minutes from Flowery Dell. Lodges are spotless, the hot tubs are serviced discretely and everyone is really helpful and friendly. It truly is a home away from home and we will return in 2025 to savour the Lodge-life again.

Our stay at Flowery Dell was perfect! Relaxed and peaceful in a beautiful setting.
The location was ideal for local walks through the woods and by the river, as well as for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
Evenings were spend on the veranda barbecuing and relaxing in the hot tub.
Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we hope to visit again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in Wild cherry lodge very much. The location was very quiet and relaxing. We had everything we needed in the lodge and especially liked the hot tub. The location was also very close to several interesting places to visit.

We absolutely loved staying at the Wild Cherry Lodge with Flowery Dell. Clean, calm and deeply relaxing - we didn’t want to leave. The customer service was excellent and we are already looking to book in again. Perfect for nervous dogs as plenty of space between lodges and a quiet woodland walk nearby. Thank you so much Flowery Dell - one of the best breaks we have had!

We have visited Flowery Dell several times, however this was our first time staying at Wild Cherry lodge as we had our son and his family staying with us we needed a larger lodge.
The lodge has all the facilities you would expect including some items you didn’t know you needed! The team at Flowery Dell have thought of everything and we had a great takeaway on the first night from Richmond which is a few miles away. The weather was perfect for us to have BBQ too and with the lodge having its own gas BBQ made it easy.
The location of Flowery Dell is fabulous and our grandchildren loved being able to play in the children’s play area, taking our dogs for a walk through the forest trails plus visiting and feeding the farm animals, especially the goats and kids.
The hot tub was a welcome addition especially at the end of a long day visiting Richmond and the surrounding areas.

We booked wild cherry , I wanted somewhere that friends and family could come to stay or visit to celebrate my birthday . We also had our dog with us and the little dog walk area was absolutely perfect . Everyone loved the lodge and surroundings.The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble , especially the head house keeper who popped in to see if I needed anything . The welcome pack was a lovely touch and our dog got one too. A brilliant time was had by everyone , special memories were make .

Just stayed in wild cherry Lodge. What a fabulous place, so clean and well-equipped. The little extras were a lovely touch. Hot tub was great! Staff all very welcoming and helpful. Had an issue with our heating which was resolved straight away. Rooms were of a good size and very comfortable. The outside areas are very well kept. We will definately be returning.
