This elegant two bedroom property would suit couples, a small family or some friends looking for a relaxing stay in Deal. The current owners have recently renovated the entire house and in doing so created a bright and airy home maximising the space, yet still retaining many original features. The clever mix of contemporary and classic styling flows throughout the house and the carefully chosen colour-palette of fresh whites and darker tones give an overall feeling of calm and relaxation.

This is a great property with overall one of the highest standards of facilities, comfort and cleanliness we have stayed in. However, part of staying in a self-catering property is the ability to cook for oneself. The condition of the oven was such that eye stinging fumes were released when used. We were only there two nights but this would be a major problem over a longer stay.

Bay Tree House was well-appointed and beautifully decorated, ideally located in a quiet street within easy walking distance to the main High Street with its good selection of shops. We were a family of four (with sons of 15 and 19). When we initially booked we’d seen photos of a garden room which had a bed in it; ideal for our 19yr old we thought. However, the garden had been updated and the garden room removed so was longer the set up. Fortunately we alerted Keepers Cottages before we arrived who sorted out an air bed (as the second bedroom only had a double bed and not two singles). A ‘link’ double bed that could be converted to two singles would be a good idea we think and more versatile.
We loved the well-equipped kitchen and the complimentary extras including coffee capsules etc. A microwave would have been useful. We used the delightful garden for eating outside in the warm evenings. Very peaceful.
Nearby was a handy corner shop for essentials. We really had the best time, ate at some great food places including the Blue Pelican and are already thinking of a return visit to Deal.

Bay tree house is beautiful. It feels like it is much loved and used by the owners. There are lots of lovely touches such as ample tea and coffee, olive oil etc. There is beautiful art work on the walls and the house is tastefully decorated and furnished. Good quality towels and bedding, which I love (although hand towels per person would be a useful addition). The location couldn’t be better. Walking to everything, but quiet. We found parking easily. My only issue would be that the house was so cold and took some time to warm up. We were there in very cold weather and I don’t think anyone had stayed before us, the bathroom is a cold room anyway and remained so for all of our stay. It would have been nice if the heating could have been increased before our arrival. But overall we loved the house and would recommend it. Customer service was fairly responsive and it felt good to know they were local if any problems.

Beautiful house. Comfy beds. Well equipped for staying in or going to the beach. Pretty historic location a short walk from the high street and the beach. Made good use of the garden and outhouse too.

A great stay in a truly beautiful house. The house has everything you could possibly want for a stress free holiday. ...and the most comfortable beds ever ! The location is perfect and although its only a 5 minute walk to both the sea front and the main shopping street the area is extremely quiet . The small back garden is just the place to relax with a book or glass of wine in the evening. We really hope to be able to return soon.
