Beech Tree Cottage is a delightful holiday home located in the pretty village of Kingsdown on the East Kent coast and is the perfect choice for a family holiday or friends’ get-together. Lovingly decorated and furnished by the owners, the cottage contains some charming features. The long pebble garden offers a fabulous place to relax and enjoy sunny days and BBQ's, whilst the wood burner in the sitting room ensures a cosy place during cooler days.
Inside the cottage you will find a lovely open plan sitting/dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Upstairs are a Kingsize bedroom, and a Twin room and the first floor leads up to the loft room accessed via ladder style stairs where a hatch reveals a further Double bedroom. The loft bedroom is suitable for young adults / teenagers.
Kingsdown is a charming village with a local store and post office, a butcher, and friendly pub. The beach is a few minutes’ walk away, where you will find The Zetland Arms, a lovely beach front pub that looks out onto the white cliffs. From the cottage you can walk along the coastal path to Deal and Walmer in one direction and St Margaret’s Bay and Dover in the other, so plenty of things to do, places to explore and history in which to immerse yourself.
