Ollerton is a stunning double fronted Georgian house in the heart of Deal’s conservation area. It is an impressive building, light and spacious with generous sized rooms, and yet has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, and a truly family friendly, relaxed appeal. Your four-legged friend is also welcome.

A main feature of the house is the central stair well, which brings light flooding into all rooms, which have high ceilings and are beautifully and tastefully decorated, with the emphasis very much on reusing and recycling. Many furniture items, artwork and accessories have been sourced locally.

The ground floor has a large, and sociable open plan kitchen/dining room, an adorable window seat, and a large picture window overlooking the garden. There are two reception rooms, both with TVs, one with French doors opening onto the garden, and the other with a large sofa for cosy evenings. Upstairs is a two-storey suite, and three further bedrooms and family bathroom. Outside, the large walled garden is perfect for relaxing and alfresco dining.

Ollerton is perfectly positioned on Deal High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and is also just minutes from the lovely long seafront promenade and pier. For guests who prefer country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown and St Margaret’s Bay. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the local clubs of Royal Cinque Ports and Walmer & Kingsdown golf clubs. Whilst the championship courses of Royal St George’s, and Princes are a short drive away.

What a wonderful property! Great location in the heart of the conservation area with the High Street on your doorstep. Quality renovation carried out on a characterful property, with great attention to detail. Sizeable garden for such a central location. Plenty of space. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at Ollerton.
Parking is a problem in Deal. There is no free parking for more than 2 hours unless it is overnight.
We would recommend the Saturday market-it’s a real hub for everyone to meet up.

Returned again to Ollerton, a perfect albeit pricey, hose for large family - in our case three generations ageing 6-75.
There are very few large houses to rent in the centre of Deal and this the best we’ve found. Keepers, the agents, could not be more helpful and we’ve had another wonderful holiday there.

Ollerton was perfect for our family group of seven humans and two dogs. It is spacious and practical with very tasteful fittings throughout. Located in a quiet part of the high street with a lovely enclosed, secluded rear garden, it was a great family base and we chose to eat there most days. We were lucky with the weather and we absolutely fell in love with Deal. The town is both charming and lively with a great choice of independent restaurants, bars and shops. The coastal walks in both directions are beautiful.

A beautiful holiday home providing great accommodation for our party of 8 adults and one very small dog. The house has been tastefully furnished and is extremely comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Situated in the heart of the conservation area the location is superb as all amenities are within close walking distance. I would highly recommend this property.
