Enjoy an unforgettable holiday with your loved ones at Poplar Farm, two beautiful properties that can accommodate up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms and overlook the countryside, yet are just moments from the beach. These lovingly restored properties have been owned the same family for over 100 years and are located next door to one another, providing the perfect space for multi-generational groups or friends seeking a relaxing and peaceful family break. Poplar Farm House retains many period features, including high ceilings, picture windows, wooden floors and fireplaces. The Old Barn, which is just next door is a bright and airy converted space, opening onto unspoilt garden and fields beyond, ideal for children to explore. Both properties boast ample living spaces, well-equipped kitchens and large gardens, making them the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable stay. Poplar Farm really is a wonderful choice for multi-generational families, friends or golfers looking for an idyllic break in the Garden of England.

We were a group of 3 friends with our young kids ranging from 2-6 years old and we had a delightful stay at Poplar Farmhouse and Barn. By hiring the additional farmhouse it gave us the perfect amount of space and was great value for money.

The team were incredibly helpful in the lead up to our stay providing cot beds (though you need to provide your own cot sheets which wasn’t a problem for us). Checkout was on the slightly early side at 10am, but requesting a later checkout for noon, wasn’t a problem and allowed us to have a more relaxed end to a wonderful break.

In Poplar Farmhouse a couple of additional kitchen utensils would’ve been handy, we missed a collinder. In the Barn there was a slight odour that we couldn’t pinpoint (potentially plumbing it did go eventually). But nothing prevented us having a great stay, and we’d happily recommend to others

We only used the main farmhouse not the barn due to illness of part of the group. However we had full use of the extensive grounds of both properties which were well fenced and enjoyed by our spaniels. The farmhouse was warm and homely, greatly appreciated as there were first gale force winds, then frost followed by heavy rain.
The only negative was a lack of any accessible coat hooks in the hallway for the many layers of winter clothing. Shower and bathroom were well appointed.
A property to return to.
