Tucked away in the heart of Deal's conservation area lies Rogue's Cottage, a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian terrace house that has been lovingly restored to create a luxury holiday home. This secluded gem of a property not only has charming interiors with exceptional attention to detail, but also cosy corners and heaps of character and original features.

The sitting room has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. There is a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast station and cosy dining room, as well as handy downstairs cloakroom and toilet. Upstairs on the first and second floor are two spacious bedrooms and a stunning bathroom with copper bath and separate rainfall shower. Outside, a cosy courtyard offers a sheltered and peaceful space to relax after a day on the beach.

Rogue's Cottage is perfectly positioned just seconds from the lovely long seafront promenade and minutes from the bustling Deal High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.

All in all an adorable, quaint and cosy property. I have very high standards and have stayed in many properties in Deal and Rogues Cottage is second on my very long list (number one doesn’t allow dogs).
The cottage was warm on the coldest of nights, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen and adjoining dining room ideal and the whole place was very clean and furnished to a high standard. A useful addition would be a mirror and the lights were temperamental but these are minor.

Beautiful cosy cottage, stairs are very steep . When we arrived the Christmas tree was up with the lights on What an amazing welcome.

This was our second stay in Rogue’s Cottage. The cottage was equally as charming in blustery winter weather and was tastefully decorated for Christmas, which we appreciated. We had a minor issue this time, which the team were quick to respond to, so it won’t prevent us coming back a third time!

We had a great stay at this cottage and loved the decor throughout. A perfect seaside break and wonderfully set up for our toddler with toys, high chair and cot so we didn’t have to lug from home. The staff were also attentive when we had some issues checking in.

The only things that could have been better:
— when we arrived there was rubbish on the living room floor. I trust someone popped this through the mail slot so no fault of the cleaners, but not a great thing to arrive to!
— we found some dead bugs throughout the house that hadn’t been tidied
— there is a full kitchen, but no roasting dishes or pans or basic things like olive oil or salt

We loved everything about Rogues Cottage and our interactions with the holiday company. Come here if you appreciate the charm of an old cottage, updated with modern comforts and styled with flair and generosity. The location is top notch too, tucked away on a quiet street with the sea at the end of the road and Deal’s award-winning High Street a short stroll away.

We have just spent two weeks at Rogue cottage and absolutely loved it. Fabulous location and cottage was gorgeous.

Lovely cottage. Full of charm.

Very clean and great location.

For me the sofas were not comfortable and need to be replaced urgently to improve the overall experience.

Everything else was lovely.

A beautifully renovated and stylishly decorated cottage, with all that we needed for a week in Deal. Minutes from the sea, and just a short walk through the old part of town to the high street with its independent businesses, cafes and places to eat. We walked or used the train to get about (so we can’t comment on parking) and it was always a delight to return to the cottage at the end of the day. It was quiet and cosy during a week of mixed weather in May and we recommend both the cottage (just note the steep and twisty stairs) and Deal. We hope to be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rogue's Cottage. It is decorated so beautifully. We all particularly loved the big copper bath. It was brilliant being seconds from the beach - I even popped down to watch the sunrise with a coffee, in my pyjamas. I have family roots in Deal and we would definitely book Rogue's Cottage again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rogues Cottage. It had lots of character and cottage features, and at the same time it was very comfortable. Keepers Cottages were very helpful when I contacted with some questions about the property before our stay. We felt very relaxed after our week away, and having stayed in Deal a couple of times before this was easily our favourite place.

The owners of this cottage have put so much effort in to create a homely, comfortable and well appointed holiday let. As an interiors enthusiast I really appreciated the designer touches - Matilda Goad cushions and throws, Alice Palmer light shades, Soho Home crockery - none of which you’d expect to find in your run of the mill holiday home. All the bed linen was White Company and the mattresses were super comfy. We stayed with my toddler and he was thrilled to find a basket of toys at his disposal and we appreciated the travel cot and mattress and high chair. I’d say this was the best cottage we have stayed in - ever! Couldn’t fault a thing. Thanks for a wonderful long wknd.

We had a lovely time in Deal. Thought the cottage was a bit pricey. The pictures made it look a bit more sumptuous than it actually was but I guess some of that is down to personal taste.

Perfectly positioned to enjoy walks along the sea front and also handy for the shops. Deal is such an interesting town and so easy to fill a week with visits to Sandwich;, Canterbury, Walmer Castle and lots of lovely walks.

We really enjoyed our visit to Deal and Rogue cottage was a fantastic base from which to explore. The cottage was extremely well equipped with a high standard of finish. The coffee machine was a treat we did not expect. I would highly recommend Deal and also Rogue Cottage.

We had a great time at Rogue’s Cottage, once I had worked out where the hidden cutlery drawer was! It was very clean and comfortable with most of the things we needed. It is a perfect location as close to the beach and easy to stroll into the town centre, The tea bags & Tunnocks tea cakes were a lovely touch. It would have been nice to have a cafetière (we bought one) as I don’t do coffee pods. It would also have been useful to have more information about what to do with our recycling. It is an old cottage so the quirks were expected but definitely not ideal for tall people - my husband banged his head on the bedroom door frame on a daily basis!

But we loved it and it was perfect for our holiday,

We had a lovely break in Deal including being lucky with the weather. We knew the area but this time wanted some space of our own rather than the confines of a hotel and this cottage was a good solution, just a short walk to the sea front, shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean with quality appliances, fixtures and fittings – can’t think of anything that was missing. Customer service, i.e. information and checking all was ok with our trip and the property was excellent - thank you to the property owners and the staff.

We had a great stay in Rogue's cottage. It was spotless clean and very comfortable place to be.
