Stone Hall Farmhouse is a stunning Grade II listed house with Georgian and Victorian origins, nestled in the village of Great Mongeham. The interior design is a beautiful combination of soft, muted colours, rich fabrics, and tasteful art - all exuding an understated and elegant country charm.

This truly is a relaxed and comfortable holiday home, with the emphasis very much on families, and with six bedrooms it will appeal to multi-generational family groups who want to come together and enjoy each other’s company in this wonderful house.

The large ground floor has a sitting room, family room and snug, so lots of options for socialising and for quiet time. The dining room seats 12 guests and opens out onto the raised patio which is the perfect dining alternative on sunny days. With three separate log burners, the house is very cosy in the winter months.

The more energetic in the group can enjoy a game of tennis, whilst others can enjoy roaming in the lovely 3 acres of landscaped gardens.

The village of Great Mongeham is a short drive to the seafront and the seaside town of Deal

The farmhouse, its facilities, the grounds and tennis court were all very good and as expected from the details provided when booking. The village itself was somewhat less the picturesque Kent than expected, and the nearby beaches rather rocky. Walmer castle is well worth a visit. All in all a great place to stay at home but not so great to explore.

We were a multi generational family group aged from 3 to 72. The house was brilliant, well equipped, comfortable and plenty of room.
The house and garden provided plenty of scope for hide and seek for the younger members and the tennis court was very popular!

Luxury stay for a large family. Excellent country location. Brilliant facilities for indoor and outdoor entertainment. Tennis court in great shape. Luxury of quooker hot taps and twin dishwashers with loads of kitchen gear made food prep so easy.
Hard to fault and we would come again.

We spent 4 easy days at Stone Hall, 8 adults and 3 under 18 months. We found the house to be beautifully clean, ( special thanks to the cleaners who’d done an excellent job) very well equipped with tasteful and sympathetic decoration which contributed to a lovely homely feel to our stay. You felt that the owners had put a lot of effort into making your stay easy and that they wanted you to enjoy their property.
We felt there was plenty of space for us all as well, and the grounds and tennis court were well used.
You definitely need a car to take you to the many places to visit, Deal is a calmer seaside town then many of the others nearby, but has the best Crazy golf we’ve ever come across !
‘Keepers cottages’ were both very attentive and efficient making the whole process straightforward and that nothing was too much trouble .

We had such a wonder week here. The house is beautifully done with the comfiest beds. Everyone from 1 - 76 loved our time here and we will definitely be back!
