Take some time to wander the interesting streets of Deal, a town steeped in Maritime history. Once a bustling location for smugglers and boatmen, there is plenty to explore. For guests who like country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown where you can enjoy a bite to eat at The Zetland Arms - a pub on the beach overlooking the White Cliffs of Dover. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the local clubs of Royal Cinque Ports and Walmer & Kingsdown golf clubs. The championship courses of Royal St George’s, and Princes are just a short drive away.
