If you like sea views, then you will love The Albion. A beautifully restored house on the Esplanade in Deal, this three storey Georgian house has amazing views from the double aspect sitting rooms and bedrooms. Formerly a public house dating back to the 18th century, The Albion closed down in 1971 and has now been transformed into a luxury holiday home.

On the ground floor is a lovely sociable kitchen with large island unit and bar stools and a cosy sitting / dining room with wood burner. Upstairs is the second sitting room, which is light and bright and has stunning sea views from the double aspect windows.

The house has three bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower, a family bathroom and a separate cloakroom. It is located on Beach Street and is just a few yards from the long promenade and beach. It is the perfect family holiday home and is pet friendly too.

The Albion is perfectly located within a short stroll to the High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. For guests who prefer country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown and St Margaret’s Bay. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the local clubs of Royal Cinque Ports and Walmer & Kingsdown golf clubs. Whilst the championship courses of Royal St George’s, and Princes are a short drive away.

Very quirky building

Excellent location and very quirky building however we found it very noisy (creaky) and the strange layout wasn’t ideal for a family.
It would benefit from a deep clean.
Overall it was ok for the price but we like a bit more luxury when on holiday.
