Set directly on the seafront with uninterrupted sea views from almost every room, this charming fisherman's cottage offers a quintessential Whitstable escape in one of the town's most sought-after locations. The Cottage boasts front-row seats to the ever changing seascape beyond. Watch fishing boats drift across the water from the comfort of the sitting room, wake to the sound of the sea from your bedroom window, and step straight from the garden onto the beach for a morning swim, paddleboard, or sunset stroll along the shore. Inside, the cottage is warm, welcoming and full of traditional coastal character. Original wooden floors, exposed brickwork and simple, comfortable interiors create a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly suits life by the sea. The sitting room is a wonderful place to unwind, with large windows framing spectacular views across the water, while the kitchen and dining space provide everything needed for easy family meals after days spent outdoors. Sleeping up to six guests, the cottage offers two double bedrooms and a charming twin room tucked beneath the eaves. With its low, sloping ceilings and cosy feel, the attic bedroom is best suited to younger guests up to the age of 13, making this an ideal choice for families seeking a traditional seaside holiday together. The views are a constant highlight throughout the house. Beyond the garden gate lies Whitstable's famous beach, while the town's independent shops, popular seafood restaurants, cafés and harbour are all within easy walking distance. Spend your days wandering along the harbour, browsing local boutiques, enjoying freshly shucked oysters or simply settling into the slower pace of life that has made Whitstable one of Kent's most loved coastal destinations. For families seeking a relaxing seaside getaway with unbeatable sea views, direct beach access and the very best of Whitstable on the doorstep, The Cottage is a very special place to stay.

No better place than this to stay in Whitstable. Center location at the seaside between harbour and Oyster Company.
The Cottage is truly a beautiful house and perfecty for 4 adults. It depends on the kids if they feel comfortable in the attic because it has very limited space, much like a small tent, but the view from the window is awesome.
Parking in the vicinity is a problem. The house can be reached by car to unload and load without a problem, but free parking anywhere is almost impossible. Local car parks are not cheap. We used Justpark to find a parking for our 8-day stay.
The only thing that could be improved is the coffeemachine. It's the newest model Nespresso with the pouches instead of the cups. This makes a great cup of coffee, but these poaches are not sold in the stores in the vicinity. So we couldn't use the machine.
Nevertheless we already booked for next year and we can't wait to get back here!

We loved our stay at The Cottage- the whole house felt spacious, clean and comfortable and the location was exceptional. Sitting in the garden watching the sunset was simply beautiful. We said that it was one of our favourite places we have ever stayed and we hope to be back at some point!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Cottage in Whitstable. The house is beautifully decorated, cosy, and so lovely throughout. The location is simply perfect—peaceful, charming, and just a short walk from everything Whitstable has to offer. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we immediately felt at home. We also really appreciated how easy, flexible, and seamless everything was with Keepers Cottages, from booking through to check-out. We definitely recommend!
