The Little Cottage is an adorable, quirky, former bicycle store beautifully renovated into a stylish holiday home in the centre of the iconic coastal fishing town of Whitstable.
Whilst this is two storey cottage, the interior design feels more like living in a loft style apartment with a high vaulted ceiling and a lovely large open plan living space in which to relax and socialise. On chillier days, the gorgeous large velvet sofa is perfect for TV watching, reading or listening to music, and the fully equipped kitchen has a wooden table and benches to enjoy home cooked meals or a takeaway from one of the many on offer in the town. On sunnier days, there is a pretty walled courtyard with a bistro table and chairs and a large wooden corner bench to relax on and enjoy the sunshine.
Whitstable is a lively coastal town with a thriving arts and creative scene and lots of live music in the many pubs and cafes, including the famous Old Neptune on the beach which is only a short walk from the cottage. Take a stroll along the buzzing High Street and popular Harbour Street both with a wealth of independent and boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and explore the fishing harbour to sample some delicious seafood. Further afield are the historic market town of Faversham and the medieval City of Canterbury.
