If you are looking for a base for walking, cycling, or touring this beautiful part of East Kent, then Willow Tree Lodge is perfect. In the heart of the beautiful Kentish countryside, the picturesque village of Littlebourne is only 4 miles from the historic Cathedral City of Canterbury. This studio style lodge in the owner’s garden, overlooks open countryside and has everything you could want for a cosy, comfortable and relaxing holiday or short break. And, to add to the appeal, the lodge sits on the banks of Little Stour with fabulous views of the crystal clear water, reeds and wildlife including ducks, moorhens, water voles, kingfishers and egrets. The owners keep chickens and so guests will be welcomed with fresh eggs, and fresh bread from the local farm shop.

We had a lovely stay in this bijou and well equipped lodge. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of ducks and moorhens and the location was perfect for visiting Deal, Whitstable, Walmer and Dover.
Great hosts and a cosy cabin.

Great cabin by the running stream. Amazing hosts. Fabulous dogs who are willing to be pampered 24/7 but if your dog people, don’t worry, they are behind the gate. Feeding the ducks was a real treat. But honestly, it was a fabulous stay. So cosy, everything you needed, it was supplied. Fresh produce supplied. Fabulous bed, sofa, shower room and views. Chilled walk to the local pub and shops. Fabulous cafe barn up the road. Excellent fish n chip van in the village on a Friday. Real treat and so fresh. 5 stars all the way. The hosts were so charming as well. Thank you. X

Very comfortable and a lovely position on a small river. It was immaculate with everything new and they seemed to thought of everything that you might need. Diane and Ian were excellent hosts.
However, it is small and space is tight which for some larger and less agile people could prove to be challenging
