A little gem! If you are looking for a quick mid week or weekend getaway that is luxurious, clean and more like a hotel suite than a holiday let then this is for you! Boutique village living at its finest with a huge hot tub on offer with beautiful walks directly from your front door, a village pub by the river that offers fab food just a few minutes walk away. What more do you really need!

The instructions how to access and use the property are terrible. It says the lockbox with the key to access is near the hot tub. It took 40 minutes to find that lockbox in the dark and cold - it is in totally a non-obvious place as far away from the front door as you can imagine.

You need to read a LONG instruction manual to use the property. Which is incorrect and incomplete. It says the remote to turn off the ambient lighting in the kitchen is on the window sill. It wasn’t. It took over an hour to find that remote, obscurely hidden by the fridge.

Turning the shower on also requires reading the manual

We couldn’t use the oven as no instructions how to turn it on.

The downstairs was cold - the radiators are not man enough for the job. And the fire had NO switches to turn it on or higher like the house manual said it did.

A most most frustrating and annoying experience. Too many gadgets, too few helpful instructions.
