Mariners is a wonderful, recently renovated, cottage at a very nice location. The masters bedroom looks out over the Conwy estuary, Conwy castle, and the Mynydd y Dref. Every day this view appears different and it changes with the light and the tide. This spot is just a short drive from great beaches, and the wonderful outdoors of Snowdonia park. The cottage is very comfortable, cozy and ideal for a small family. There is a good (small) supermarket and a nice pub on walking distance. Other conveniences are in villages nearby (bus, or car). The owners are great, very nice people and available...more
The house was brilliant for our stay, we had 3 generations together. More than enough space and excellent location. There was lots to do during the day and many places to chose from to eat out.
Beautiful place Every thing you need and more had a lovely Christmas week second to none what more can I say perfect and thank you for the bottle of bubbly and chocolate log
Having spent a fabulous week at Plas Afron Cottage with my family We all agreed that it was an amazing experience from the cottage it’s self which was as good as if not better than the pictures on site when we booked to the location which allowed us easy access for touring about the wonderful North Wales. The Cottage was beautifully laid out with lovely touches one being garden which had magical fairy lights that with the back drop of the hills and great weather was very nice for sitting out after a busy day seeing the sites. My children were delighted with rooms one being on suite and my ...more
Had a lovely time thank you. Glorious setting and very hospitable hosts. All three cottages were lovely and worked well for three families.
We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was lovely to be in centre of Criccieth, to be able to walk to the beach and the local shops and restaurants. There are wonderful views from the front bedroom. There was lots of space to spread out. We loved that there was a ultility room to dump all our walking gear without it taking over the house. The owners have tried to think of everything providing a welcome pack that even included dish washer tabs.
My husband, daughter, our little Schnoodle Daisy and I had a lovely stay at Beaumaris Lodge. The cottage was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed in a “home from home”. The welcome cake was a lovely surprise as was the other supplies left for us in the fridge (fresh milk, eggs etc) We had a wonderful week exploring Anglesey and spent relaxing evenings on the decking in the sunshine after dinner. We all agreed Beaumaris Lodge gets a massive “thumbs up” !
We really enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse for a long weekend stay visiting elderly parents in Llandudno. The views are amazing even in late Autumn. Facilities were more than adequate for a couple. Patrick and June are lovely hosts and would highly recommend this place for a break.
This cottage was ideal for us. We loved the venue with the art gallery and cafe next door. It was quiet and the owners were at hand only if the need arose. The cottage itself is well equipped and the decor and furniture was to our taste. We loved the art work on the walls. We would book the cottage again when staying in North Wales.
very well presented with plenty of added extras that were appreciated.being old, the stairs presented a bit of a problem. but we enjoyed our stay.
I booked the Farmhouse at the last minute and could not have been more pleased with the property and view. The Farmhouse is in excellent condition and has a very nice garden to the front and side. There is a large car parking space solely for the use of the Farmhouse beside the property. The owners are very nice and very approachable, with plenty of tips on places to go. The Farmhouse is situated close to Conwy and was an excellent base to plan trips from, and to spend a lazy day sitting in the garden listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing. I would wholeheartedly recom...more
A lovely cosy cottage with quality fixtures and fittings .A super king size bed, fab shower, spacious bathroom , a galley kitchen with breakfast bar that works really well. Conwy is a splendid place to visit and makes a great base to visit the other nearby towns and beaches. The castle walls make a wonderful walk with views of the surrounding area . A special mention to Erskine Arms, Jasla ( the best indian meal we"ve ever had) L"s Café and the Castle View in Deganwy for fab food and drink all within walking distance from the cottage. We will certainly return to No 14.
Went to Rectory Mawr in December for a pre-Christmas break. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On quiet remote lane, so privacy guaranteed. Didn't get to use outdoor facilities which include summerhouse, BBQ, chiminea, but robust internet (which to me is essential).. First time using an Aga, but we managed to cook a family meal OK. A must is a visit to the Tir a Mor chippy in nearby Llanrwrst.
we had an amazing holiday in this clean large &spacious holiday house and amazing views ideal for large group
This was a perfect base to enjoy North Wales from. The cottage is well laid out, with comfortable amenities, especially the bed. Really enjoyed our long weekend.
From the warm welcome by Beth the owner with her delicious home made Bara Bryth to her goodbyes a week later....everything was perfect. The accommodation is second to none....the kitchen is the best equipped I have seen....but if you do not fancy cooking...there are two pubs nearby that have a good menu... the lounge has a beautiful log fire with two comfy sofas to curl up on ...the bedroom has superb panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding area... You are within driving distance of lots of beautiful lakes castles and the seaside.... we shall definitely return...
The Bach is a lovely new clean cottage which was perfect for our stay. The underfloor heating makes it cosy (though the house was very cold on arrival - perhaps the heating could have been turned up just a little in anticipation). Details on the website said there was a dishwasher though we couldn’t find it. We ate mostly with our friends who had rented the neighbouring house so it wasn’t a problem for us. Overall it is a lovely house in a good location for visiting north wales.
The house was really clean, comfortable and had everything we needed with a well-equipped kitchen. Location is great in terms of being quiet and close to all the amenities and sea front. Parking was a slight challenge if left too late in the day, but we always found a space and everyone is in the same boat.
Spacious well equipped apartment which is tastefully decorated. It is very close to a couple of nice cafes, gift shops and a wine bar called Prohibition, which we had a drink in. The beautiful beaches are just around the corner and there is a path walk to Conwy. Loads to do and see in the area. Entry to the apartment was very easy and we were allowed a late checkout which was very helpful. We didn't have a car arrived by train. (There is a small station very close by) and used buses to get around. This wasn't a problem.
Really nice cottage, clean and very well equipped. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Conway is a lovely location, nice town with great access to beautiful Snowdonia. Cottage is very convenient for public transport.
Beautiful property in the national park. Well equipped kitchen and nice shower room. Property is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area and owners are on site if you have need of assistance.
Excellent location everything about the property was very good, clean, comfortable, very cosy And in good condition
Cottage neat and clean, beds comfortable and met all our needs. Hosts very friendly and helpful. So often in rental properties you never have enough toilet roll or hand soap in bathrooms so very pleased in plentiful supply here as usually my pet hate. Location peaceful and good base for days out.
The owners of the cottage are amazing, really helpful and friendly. The location is superb, close to all the natural attractions. The gallery and coffee shop are a must; tastefully done and a great place to relax. The grounds are equally beautiful. The cottage itself is really nicely done with all the comfort you need. I would say this is the most beautiful cottage I have been in for a very long time. The only problem was that the kitchen and downstairs (apart from the bathroom) were too cold as the radiators in those areas did not get warm enough. We reported this to the owners and I am su...more
We loved the house, plenty of space for our family of 6. Only criticism is the house would benefit from a deep clean, cobwebs in most rooms and the hall/stair carpet was marked. I appreciate the size of the house to clean in just a few hours and a light coloured carpet will always get dirty. The bedrooms and bathroom were lovely, especially comfy beds. The location of the house to the town is excellent, just a short walk so left the cars at the house which was a bonus. Absolutely loved the area and would definitely visit again.
Situated in a remote part of Snowdonia, this 4 star property has spectacular views across Lake Geirionydd. It easily accommodates 6 in a sympathetically upgraded spacious cottage. The fireplace lintel is dated 1779. Ty Newydd is warm and well equipped. If you like remote, nearest supermarket is 15 minutes away along narrow winding minor roads. A great place for walkers, naturalists, authors and artists. No broadband is a bonus at least for a week. Important to arrive at the property in daylight. Park to the right of the cottage for unloading your car.
Loved the views. The apartment was clean, well equipped and warm, but a little more worn than the photo's showed. The main bedroom had two single beds pushed together which was not ideal for a couple. Great shower but again, bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade. No major issues, was just expecting a little more.
Lovely homely comfortable cottage..thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Very steep driveway but manageable, lovely secluded garden. Would certainly recommend this cottage.
