From the moment we arrived at the entrance gates and we could see the property in front of us, we were blown away by how gorgeous it looked. When we entered the very large hall, we were greeted with lovely perfumed aroma's. There were plug in air fresheners around the house and it smelt divine. What a welcome. The house was perfect in every room and the quality of the furnishings and how thick the carpets are throughout, made this house so special in every way. I cannot thank Caroline our lovely caretaker enough for her kindness and attention to detail........... and then the icing on the cake...more
Myself, my family and our dog spent a week in Beech Dreams and it was fantastic. The property was beautifully decorated and furnished. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We wanted to explore the area so it was very well positioned to visit Snowdon (1 hour away), Betws-y-Coed (30 mins away), a few minutes drive from Llandudno & Conwy and a 20 minute walk from Deganwy where we did a lovely coastal walk. We would definitely re-visit.
Had a wonderful week in this well-appointed house in a great location on the edge of Snowdonia. Easy to get to on the motorway network from our home in the Midlands and half an hour from the Welsh mountains and beaches of Anglesey. The welcome basket was a nice touch and the hot tub was well used by the kids. Hopefully we'll be back.
Beautiful, well equipped, luxurious holiday home with amazing views. En-suite bed rooms fantastic, kitchen very well equipped, lounge beautiful, TVs massive. Could find no faults of any kind. Wonderful views to wake up to and some lovely sunsets courtesy of God’s beautiful creation.
The accomodation has everything you need for a nice stay. 4no good sized bedrooms. A jacuzzi bath & shower room. View over the estury to Conwy. There is some traffic & train noise but this didn`t bother us. Would deffinatly return.
Don't miss the gem of a town that is Criccieth. A very well sited and comfortable terraced cottage. Cosy and well equipped. Our fifth year staying there, says it all.
Eigionfa is an amazing cottage in a great location with beautiful views of the Menai Straits. A well designed and furnished cottage with a large living area that is perfect for socialising as a group. Plenty of options for eating out and drinks within walking distance of the cottage. Would definitely return to this cottage and recommend to others.
This cottage was ideal for us. We loved the venue with the art gallery and cafe next door. It was quiet and the owners were at hand only if the need arose. The cottage itself is well equipped and the decor and furniture was to our taste. We loved the art work on the walls. We would book the cottage again when staying in North Wales.
Thank you for our time at St Francis Treehouse. Our hosts - Patrick and June - were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation matched the description and was as we expected. The kitchenette is small but it is possible to prepare some hot food. Our delightful hosts accepted our suggestions for helping future guests understand the very nice new oven (by leaving the instruction manual to hand). Make sure you accept the invitation to use the garden - make a cup of tea and linger a while in one of the many pretty little places.
Great facilities in an excellent cottage, perfect getaway. The owner was very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage.
Had a wonderful stay house was spot on great base to see local area would reccomend it Garden secure for the dogs Views front and back fantastic
From the moment we parked up at the gate and walked thro' the front door at 69.... "it felt like home!" We had an amazing stay with such beautiful views from the sitting room and the bedroom over the Conwy river. Everything was perfect and it had everything you needed. The second floor dwelling was beautifully decorated with a modern twist and the bath was amazing! Deganwy is a beautiful and quiet location and can be the gateway for visiting busier areas further afield, however, knowing that you'll be returning "home" to the peace and quiet of this little jewel tucked away on the far ban...more
The owners of the cottage are amazing, really helpful and friendly. The location is superb, close to all the natural attractions. The gallery and coffee shop are a must; tastefully done and a great place to relax. The grounds are equally beautiful. The cottage itself is really nicely done with all the comfort you need. I would say this is the most beautiful cottage I have been in for a very long time. The only problem was that the kitchen and downstairs (apart from the bathroom) were too cold as the radiators in those areas did not get warm enough. We reported this to the owners and I am su...more
We had a wonderful week at tan y ford. The cottage is small but spacious, very well equipped and has a lovely garden and outside decking area that is perfect for enjoying the peaceful location. It’s easy to find at the end of a narrow lane. I have been coming to stay in a holiday let on a farm on the same lane at least once a year since 1995 (when I was 3!) so the area is extremely familiar to me. Sadly the farm is up for sale and staying there is no longer an option, so I was very happy to see this cottage for let, and that it would allow me to bring my dog. The location could not be better i...more
Not the cleanest ever but not awful. Great location but steps a bit of a nightmare for unloading cars; and with kids. Nice house though well equipped and everything works well with clear instructions. Would stay again overall good value for money.
Located in the right place for us walking distance to Conway and Llandudno. The property was clean and spacious everything we needed was provided. The view was superb at the front, beaches to hand, restaurants just below which were excellent.Bit noisy but it was mentioned on the website (wine soon blots it out). All together we had a wonderful time.
Lovely homely comfortable cottage..thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Very steep driveway but manageable, lovely secluded garden. Would certainly recommend this cottage.
Comfortable and great for a large family Best bits were the huge dining table and bar and three huge bedrooms well equipped kitchen and very helpful caretaker and the en-suite facilities with the large bedrooms. Less good was the fourth bedroom and those windows that don’t close easily and the shared back garden. We were lucky to have a week of blue sky and sunshine and the Hall worked very well for us. Thanks to all at Great Escapes.
