This was our 2nd visit to Waters Edge. It is the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. The place is spotless and the views amazing including incredible sunsets. The quality speaks for itself: Smeg kettle and toaster, ninja air fryer, John Lewis towels, M&S crockery to name a few. Takes about half an hour to walk into Llandudno and less to Conwy. A short drive to Lidl or Tesco in Conwy or Aldi and Asdas in Llandudno. Plenty of good walks with no need to take the car out. Will be returning
We stayed at Nant Uchaf for one week with our three children (ages 4, 6 and 9). The location was beautiful and so peaceful, ideal for exploring the local area. We had day trips to LLandudno, Anglesey, and Conwy. All within very close distance. The property itself was extremely clean, the welcome basket on arrival was a lovely treat, and we appreciated the basics that were also provided (tea, coffee, milk, bread). The house is extremely comfortable, with lovely touches and decor, the kitchen is especially well stocked - my daughters and I made cupcakes on one of the rainier days, and we didn...more
An idyllic spot with an amazing view & there was a very warm welcome from the owners who are on sight.
Had a lovely stay, this was our second time at this cottage and everything was perfect, as expected, and no doubt we will visit again if availability allows. The cottage has everything you need and is well maintained, feels homely and characterful. The garden is wonderful for birdwatching (much more than a generic modern holiday let with grey features that seem ubiquitous these days). We have been visiting this area of the Lynn for nearly thirty years so are very familiar with it, there is plenty to do some of the most stunning coastline, unspoilt beaches and wildlife. Even in peak season it ...more
We spent a wonderful 3 days in the cottage, which is conveniently located to explore Anglesey and the surrounding areas. Easy access to some beautiful beaches and countryside for the cyclists in the party. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds, log burner and outdoor seating and off street parking. The kitchen is particularly well equipped which was great for us to cook an evening meal for 4. I would highly recommend Beaumaris Lodge and look forward to returning in the future.
Ideal for getting to lots of places and great for visiting the castle. Some aspects of property could do with updating and don't expect to be buying toilet rolls and washing up liquid on the day of our arrival.
Driving to destination was amazing scenery. Great directions and communication made it all so easy. Just kept saying wow once we were in the large clean flat at the wires from the windows. We spent a lot of time just watching the estuary day to day goings on ,felt like we were in another world where everything had slowed down and gone back to the old days. Very relaxing and pretty place to be. Added bonus you could lay in the huge bed watching the boats ect through the large window. The flat itself was great, everything we could have asked for which made things eisier, washer / drier for example....more
It was all very nice and a huge thank you to Ben who helped us with every aspect of our stay in this very cosy house.
Unloved and in need of some TLC and good housekeeping inside and outside. Not as shown on website. Cottage information pack out of date.
Myself & six others stayed here for three nights. Great venue, loved the log fires and the bar! Has everything you need for a long weekend. Fantastic value for money also!
