This is the second time I have stayed. Once on a work leadership event and then this time as part of a wider family get together (25 of us!). Great facilities. Perfect location for exploring and the large central table meant we could all eat together each evening. Having the other two ovens in the pantry allowed us to successfully cook Sunday roast for 25 in one go too! The only recommendation would be for a mirror opposite the driveway onto the main road, as pulling out on to the road is obscured by the height of the hedgerow.
We had an excellent 4 days here with plenty of room for all. Our hosts were so nice. It's hard to come up with anything negative except the "iffy" wireless connections! We will be back.
The whole property is beautiful and Lorna and her family are most gracious hosts. What is not to love?
Firstly we would like to thank Alistair & Lorna for enabling us to change to the Winery where we could all be together to belatedly celebrate our golden wedding. This meant that we spent time together celebrating while allowing people with diverse preferences to do 'their own thing'. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool, playing hide an seek in the fields and the short drive to the sea and the Seaton Tram. Our second grandson gave the Winery five stars. Having stayed at Flint Cottage a few years ago it was lovely to return and find all was just as top quality as we remembered. The booking process was very efficient and extra requests to accommodate my elderly mother were complied with willingly. The new app was very useful to manage the booking and acted as a guide book during our stay. We were greeted on arrival and made feel very welcome. Could not fault the accommodation. Thank you for the lovely memories we are left with.
We love staying in this property and have done so several times. It is very comfortable and quiet with amazing views over the countryside. Also well placed for visiting the area with lots of good pubs serving delicious food.
