Primrose cottage is a modern large one bedroom cottage built to the latest and highest standards, completed in July 2013. Primrose cottage is situated on the private Auchendennan estate at the south west end of Loch Lomond. within walking distance of the Cruin, Cameron House hotel, and duck bay marina wedding venues and just a short car journey from Luss and Boturich Castle. This cottage is ideal for those wanting short breaks away or if you are attending local weddings.

The cottage is has a kingsize double in the bedroom. In the living area there is a two seater sofa bed, wood burning stove, 32 inch TV with full sky package. The modern kitchen has all the latest facilities for self catering and the property has free WiFi.

We had a lovely few days it is late in the season so very quiet but think in summer it may get noisy if all the row of cottages are full. The cottage was lovely and clean it is all well proportioned big bathroom & bedroom. Coffee and ta provide was a nice touch, we did have a problem with the tv couldn’t get any terrestrial channels only catch up type programs etc but not a big problem as we had bought a few board games with us which we often do but never use this time we did and really enjoyed it. The kitchen was spotless one small point maybe a bigger saucepan and a measuring jug as we do cook at night rather than finding a dog friendly pub etc and I struggled a couple of times

Very helpful and welcoming couple, check in and out couldn't be easier and the surrounding area is beautiful.

We stayed one night as we were touring the west coast. We had our dog with us and needed dog friendly accommodation. This place is perfect, spacious room and the grounds allowed us to throw her ball and let her play.

The cottage is dog friendly and you don't get high spec furniture in dog friendly accommodation but the bed is comfy and sofa clean.

We would stay again for longer as its perfectly placed and we'll ran cottage.

Having spent 4 weeks travelling around Scotland staying in hotels and guest houses we were looking for the opportunity to self-cater and de-load before returning to Australia. We spent a very pleasant long weekend in the cottage doing just that. We found it easy to relax and its location near Loch Lomond Shores and the retail facilities of Balloch made it ideal choice.

The cottage is in a garden setting, and we spent some pleasant time sitting outside enjoying the birds flying overhead.



Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and peaceful area.

We have stayed in these properties previously. The cottage in this instance was spotless and very comfortable. Every facility you require is at hand. It was lovely having a glass of wine in the evening and breakfast at your own private space in the front garden, among mature lawns and trees/shrubs. Will always return to Auchendennan.

We have just spent a couple of days at Auchendennan Farm Cottages and found the accommodation clean and comfortable. David and Angela were a pleasure to deal with, David deserves a special mention after he agreed to move our dates at the last minute due to unforeseen family situation. The various accommodation is in a fantastic and tranquil location making a perfect base for exploring the area around Loch Lomond and beyond. There is ample parking including right outside Primrose cottage making unloading and loading the car very easy. We would highly recommend staying here and will likely book again as it is also dog friendly.

Great relaxing stay
.super comfy
Great having washing machines facilities on site.
Location good near balloch and would recommend luss a pretty village with little shops and people swimming in the loch .

The cottage was across the road from Loch Lomond. It was very spacious, clean and the grounds at the back were lovely especially for walking the dog.
The staff were very friendly and helpful even phoning us to say the cottage was ready ahead of check in time
Kitchen was clean and modern in fact perfect.
Thanks for a lovely stay
If you get the chance to do the seaplane trip to Jura which takes off from across the road it's wonderful experience
We've found such friendly people in this area.

Plenty of good points: Ability to stay only one night, dog friendly, lovely and warm, good bed, nice outside environments.

Only one negative: it could do with a decorating refresh, looks a bit tired.

Would return and recommend.

We loved it here! Our cottage was perfect for the 2 of us plus dog. Brilliant bathroom, well equipped kitchen and lovely comfy bed.
It as spotless and we loved the log fire as well as the patio doors.

The only slight area for improvement was a comfier couch - it was fine though.





Brilliant place for a nice _ relaxing stay.

Really clean and tidy with brilliant facilities _ everything thought of.

Brilliant host Angela is a lovely lady who's really bubbly _ approachable and pleasant.

Visit Auchendennan regularly and will continue too.

Definitely worth a visit.
