Fun beach house for families. Hunny Pot is situated in Hunstanton and within touching distance of the Norfolk Coast Footpath in a spectacular location just off the cliffside in northwest Norfolk. Hunstanton, (or ‘Sunny Hunny’ as it’s known locally), is renowned for its unique striped cliffs and magnificent sunsets.

We should have been in the Par but as it has been sold we were offered the Hunney Pot

This was a very pleasant stay and very comfortable. The facilities were very good.
We did mention that the door to the games room would not close and lock whilst this did not cause us a problem we were concerned about the security for you.
All in all a nice place. We have booked the Albatross for March next year, please don’t sell it in the mean time.

We recently stayed at Hunny Pot for a short family break. The location was very good and the property was very well equipped with good quality furniture and lovely bathrooms. The games room was an added bonus with a lovely seating area outside. Would highly recommend.

A really comfortable property with everything you need. Very very easy walk to the beach. Everything you need is there - and the games room is a real bonus for the kids!

Absolutely loved this property, super clean and comfortable, nice garden with comfy garden furniture. Games room was fantastic and closeness to the sea was wonderful, you can see the sea when you step out of the garden gate. The property is in a peaceful residential area. We had a great week and hope to return next year.

We try and get to North Norfolk every few weeks for a four night break in one of Norfolk Holiday Cottages and this was our first time in Honey Pot, and what a great time we had. The most important thing to us is that the dogs are happy and safe and they had the time of their lives and have come home exhausted!! The Honey Pot is a very comfortable and calm base, the garden is beautiful and just full of flowers, fruit trees and lavender, the scent is glorious. The outside seating area is perfect, just a shame we didn’t have time to barbeque. The cleaning team are so good, as always, the property was spotless, everything at your fingertips and the welcome hamper was very much appreciated. This company are not the cheapest on the market, BUT you get what you pay for, and more. I can’t wait for our next trip to Hunstanton and secretly hope Honey Pot will be vacant at our chosen time, but then I love every one of the properties that belong to the Company. love to all at The Lodge, especially Brittany and Josh.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet location but only 5 mins walk to the sea and 15 mins walk to Hunstanton center. Cottage is very comfortable and well stocked, the welcome pack was excellent. Dogs loved the large fully enclosed garden and the games room is brilliant. Been before and will be coming back.

Hunny Pot turned out to be everything we expected and maybe a little bit more. Located in an extremely quiet part of Hunstanton yet easy walking distance to Old Hunstanton beach in one direction and the Esplanade and High Street in the other, the dog friendly Hunny Pot provides relaxed, high quality, accommodation with all up to date amenities and a lovely garden.
Whether looking for a home from home or a base from which North Norfolk can be further explored it would be difficult to find a better place than Hunny Pot.
One small criticism would be that liquid soap was provided when a bar of 'hard' soap would have been preferred yet all things considered North Norfolk Holiday Cottages provided us with a wonderful holiday in a location to which we are sure to return. Thanks to Brittany and her team for getting everything just right and thanks for the staff at the Lodge for two top notch lunches along the way.



We loved the Honey Pot and hoped to return.

The Honey Pot is lovely,set on a quiet road,with an enclosed garden and room for 3 cars off the road enclosed in the garden.It’s very comfortable,easy access to the town and surrounding areas.Our son uses a wheelchair,we did find the steps from the car very narrow for him to negotiate,a useful addition for us would have been a small ramp,or wider steps,and a handrail in the shower,otherwise lovely .

Hunny Pot was perfect for us, 6 adults and our dog. Extremely well furnished and appointed and very clean. Super showers and very comfortable beds. The games room was great with 2 large sofas, darts, table football and pool. Lots of fun and laughs were had by all. The garden was nice, a pleasant place to sit and relax, and fully secure which we appreciated as we had our dog with us. Just a few minutes walk and we were on the beach, which we all love for a good walk before going to The Lodge for coffee and cake. This is the second time we have stayed in a property owned by The Lodge and we certainly to hope to visit again. We found it refreshing to find that there are no rules nor lists of do's and don'ts which we have found in other self catering accommodation.

Hunny Pot fits what we are looking at in a relaxing quiet break with our two elderly four legged friends
The garden is contained so it’s safe to let them out without the worry of roaming
The accommodation is very well set out and spotless with all the home from home comforts
Set away from the main road so it’s quiet but only a five minute walk to the tops and beach
The Lodge Hotel with its customer focused staff is an excellent place to eat and drink

We had our annual family get together at Hunny Pot this year. Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages (who we have booked many other stays with over the years) always provide excellent properties and service and this year was no different.

A superb, newly refurbished, bungalow with three double bedrooms that was perfect for our party of six adults. The two bathrooms were ample and the open plan kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked main meals, including a full Christmas dinner and it was perfect.

The lounge area had three comfy sofas, ideal for board games evenings and sitting around chatting. The separate games room, a converted garage, was brilliant. Pool, darts and table football competitions ensued. Once the heaters were on it was lovely and toasty in there.

The drive fitted three cars on it with high wooden gates that shut making it very private and secure. It was a short walk to the the sea and into Hunstanton and a short distance by car to Old Hunstanton and The Lodge and the other way on the main road to a large Lidl.

All in all a great holiday home and location.

Lovely place for family with kids. The games room was an unexpected plus. Cost per night for 3 night stay is very expensive, especially given the late check-in and early check-out times. I would not book a 3 night stay again, but would definitely consider this if staying for the week.

From the moment we opened the front door to discover the property had been decorated for Christmas, including a lit tree in the corner of the living room and a hamper on the island in the kitchen, everything was perfect throughout our stay.
The location was excellent - very quiet and peaceful yet only a few minutes walk to the Esplanade and a little further to the beach.
The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our party of four and each person very much appreciated the walk-in showers in the two bathrooms.
Our Xmas Day lunch was taken in the Lodge Hotel and again we could not fault the meal or the staff.
Our only disappointment was the fact we had to leave. However we are hoping to return in the Spring.

PS: one omission - our dog also appreciated his toy and treats!!!

Our stay in Hunny pot was pure luxury. Beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you will need for a weeks self catering stay. The beds are huge & super comfy. 4 of us stayed (2 couples) but plenty enough space & seating for 6 quite happily. The beds can be made up as Big doubles or split into twins so plenty options for families staying too. Luxury "Chapter" products in bathrooms that were much appreciated and filled the cottage with beautiful scent.

Lovely welcome hamper stuffed with local products to enjoy that again was much appreciated, logs for chilly nights and good TV with plenty chanels. Wifi excellent too.

We stayed in Nov so unfortunately didnt make use of the garden space but Im sure that will be equally lovely on a warm day and theres a games room too. You can walk Old hunstanton way to the right or take a short walk along the coast into Hunstanton which is actually lovely out of Season. The lodge has great food & ambience that we enjoyed for a lunch on our last day (this is also where you pick your keys up from). We spent Saturday at Sandringham for their Christmas fair (excellent) and Luminate festive light show in the Evening, We took strolls on Holkham beach, visited Wells & Castle Acre (both lovely) and had sunday lunch at the Hero in Burnham Overy Staith which we can throughly recommend. Walshingham is another Gem to visit. Another nice find was the farm shop in Thornham. It's on the main coast rd and I think the next village along. Lots of charming local businesses to browse on site, We loved the Antique shop there.

All in all a wonderful out of season stay where we enjoyed the best of North/west Norfolk and the early Christmas season

We had great October half term week stay at the Hunny Pot. Superb location for dog walks and wandering into Hunstanton. The accommodation was spotless, and ideal for a family of four and a dog. We had good weather for Autumn and were sitting out in the garden!, and could tell in the summer the garden would be fantastic for chilling out etc. Great to have the games room as well to keep the kids entertained. We had a lovely dinner and a breakfast at the Lodge as well, would highly recommend.

Lovely sofas, comfy beds, good garden and games room. Disappointing bathrooms compared to their other holiday cottages. Cleanliness around the kitchen area needs attention. Overall I think the cost is high end the bungalow is not the bathrooms and kitchen area let it down. A small investment by the owners would easily bring this up to 5 stars

The Hunny pot cottage is absolutely beautiful!
The staff were very accommodating when we asked to move our stay forward as there was availability and we loved it so much we stayed an extra 2 nights!
Perfect location, private yet still so a close to the beach and shops. Very clean, lovely bbq area, and a practical layout which worked with children and a dog,
My children loved the games room and us grown ups too.
Our stay here was everything and more, we would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was amazing and perfect in every way. They had thought of everything to ensure that our stay was comfortable with no stress. They have all the amenities that you need, The gardens are amazing and very secure which was a major plus for our dog to be able to have a full run of the gardens without fear of getting out. There is a gap under the gates but we placed the bins in front and this covered the gap.

The BBQ was very great to have and made our nights cooking more enjoyable, the seating area outside was also great and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing in the sunshine or chilling out in the evenings.

Location was perfect, 10 min walk into the highstreet and 10 mins to the beach, the location can not be disputed at all!

You will not have any regrets staying at this cottage! Book and enjoy Hunstanton and the surrounding areas :)

We had the most perfect stay at the Hunny Pot. The cottage is beautiful and modern and has everything you need. The beds are lovely and comfortable and it was nice to have two bathrooms. The garden and outdoor space is lovely and private. We loved sitting in the garden in a morning and on an evening because we had amazing weather.

We were sad to leave and we cant wait to book to come back soon :)

The bungalow was in a prefect location for our family.Our dogs loved the garden with the space to run.The games room in the garage was a real bonus which my grandchildren loved. We had everything we needed in the bungalow and all very clean and well presented. We will return again

We had some challenges with a previous cottage but Gavin and the team jumped on the issues straight away and acted with customer satisfaction in mind. We find this has become a rarity in the industry so highly commend the team. The Hunny Pot exceeded expectation to the point we have already rebooked it. A great cottage in a spot on location.
