We only stayed one night as we had hired a campervan and thought this would be a good way to start our trip before days of wild camping. The bothy was very clean tidy and had everything needed (very modern but done in a nice way).
The rest of the location is going through some minor works to be more updated but this didn't hinder the stay in anyway. As we were only there a short time we didn't go around the area much and were more than happy being based within the bothy - would consider booking this again.

A well designed property ideal for 2 people self-catering, with views over Loch Creran. Comfortable furnishings and a well equipped compact kitchen with a large fridge, 2 ring ceramic hob and built in microwave. Nearby shops, pubs, restaurants are a short drive. Lots of local walks in the Appin and Lismore island area , and also located close to Glasdrum nature reserve, the stay provided us with the "nature fix" we needed. The owners were very helpful, and we can recommend Appin Holiday homes and the Bothy as a place to stay.

The location was cozy, very well-thought and taken care off and the view was amazing. Unfortunately as part of our trip, we only spent one night here, but we talked that this place could have been perfect for 3+ nights. The area around is amazing (totally recommended is Creagan Inn, 4 min walk).
Bed was very comfortable, living room was cozy with a wonderful view to the Loch and kitchen had everything necessary.

My only recommendation to improve would be the signs to enter to the stay itself. There was a map provided with the reservation, but it was still a bit unclear and there was one entry with a sign, which was not the right one. This is a very very minor inconvenience and would not affect by any mean our opinion to go back there!!!

The cabin is small but cozy and it is enough for a cuple. The place is quiet and with enough privacy. The surroundings are beatiful, you have a really nice view of the lake on the front and in the back you have a green field with sheeps grazing. The booth has all you need except for wifi. The price was right for what we got. The communication with the owner was good enough so everything went ok. Recommended 100%.

Lovely stay at Loch Fyne the site is excellent with the most amazing views over Loch Creran. The bothie is immaculate and has everything you need. The owners are really nice and work hard to provide a high standard at their beautiful site. The location is peaceful and quiet. Travelling around the area is great with lots to see and do. Oban is nice and worth a visit but quite busy with tourists. Glencoe is a must to visit and has the most stunning scenery very busy but worth it try and stop at the 3 sisters to get some amazing photos. The Creran Inn looks nice and there is a nice restaurant at Port Appin a few miles along the road. Highly recommend Appin holiday homes it’s an excellent site and we will definitely return for another stay.

Wonderful location.Bothy was very well equipped .Great to be able to sit out side on the decking having a coffee and looking on to the loch where I saw a family of seals most days.At night it was great to have a very comfortable bed to sleep in and in the morning have a refreshing in the spacious shower.The family who own the bothy also provided an electric fan because the weather was very hot .Looking forward to going back sometime because it is such a beautiful spot.

We had an absolutely brilliant few days in the new bothy. We stayed here a few years ago in a motorhome in a gorgeous location and returned to stay in the Loch Fyne bothy which is brand new in 2025.
All facilities are included right down to a bottle opener. The bothy was spotless and the view is to die for, easy access to a Track for walking the dog or walking distance to the Creagan inn for food and drink.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in the very well equipped and beautifully furnished new bothy in a spectacular location overlooking Loch Creran. It is on a well considered and pleasant site with assistance on hand if required.
The Creagan Inn is a five minute walk away serving good food and a range of drinks, inside or on the pleasant deck at the water's edge.
Many tourist attractions are within a short driving distance, e.g. Port Appin, Connel, Oban and Castle Stalker.
We are sorry that we hadn't booked a longer visit. We'll be back!
