We stayed here for the 1st week of our married life! From when we arrived to when we reluctantly left, it was absolutely perfect! From the gorgeous private outdoor space, to the luxury inside the carriage, it was stunning and every small detail has been thought of. We will most definitely be returning when we can!
We only stayed one night as we had hired a campervan and thought this would be a good way to start our trip before days of wild camping. The bothy was very clean tidy and had everything needed (very modern but done in a nice way). The rest of the location is going through some minor works to be more updated but this didn't hinder the stay in anyway. As we were only there a short time we didn't go around the area much and were more than happy being based within the bothy - would consider booking this again.
There was everything you needed to cook dinner or breakfast, a very comfortable bed, a lovely atmosphere, and the option to spend time outside
We had glorious weather, as a result we were spoilt for choice with things to do. Paddle boarding, hiking, cycling and relaxing. The chalet is close to the road, however this wasn’t a problem at bed time as the traffic reduced significantly. The view was stunning.
Un lloc encantador i tranquil. Hem passat dos vespres molt agradables envoltats de natura i un clima fantàstic.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ash Tree Lodge. Its spacious for a family of 4. Everything was ready and spotless clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well equiped for some basic cooking. Laundry and dryer facilities are on the grounds as well for a very reasonable price. The view over the loch is so nice.
Lovely accommodation with fantastic view. Central for exploring the local area and 10 min walk to a good pub with great food. Accommodation has everything you need for a self catering break. Hosts very responsive when needed.
The idea is great, but the cabins are situated very closely to a very busy road. As they aren’t isolated very well, the noise (and cold) comes straight through the cabin’s walls. Other than that, the furniture is a bit too big for the size of the cabin, or the cabin is just a bit too small for the amount of people it could technically fit. There were also some maintenance issues that I reported when we left. The cabin could use some TLC.
We were a party of 3 staying at Oak tree lodge,on arrival the fire was not working, reported it and said they were going to fix it but that never happened.Stay was comfortable but the whole place is in need of a re-vamp it was looking tired.Location and views were great. Games room - terrible, dirty musty smell floor needed a sweep, chairs and sofa not for sitting on (Yuk) .We have been but would not go back,
Fine location overlooking the Loch. Sorry that I did not have time for a walk up the hillside. Lodge was spacious, cosy and warm. Having previously stayed in a caravan on the same site I found it hard not to hanker after the old location right on the lochside which is now the priviledge of the mobile home visitors. WiFi worked well as did the T.V. Thought the Lodge would be good for a family with young children. Staff friendly and helpful as always.
We enjoyed it. it was good that Ewan contacted us before via whatsapp and was very responsive. i informed Ewan about the child highchair that had a missing strap. we enjoyed the experience. the double bed was small (and we are small people), let alone for bigger people.
Comfortable and clean bungalow; we felt right at home! The bleating of the sheep was lovely company! The manager was extremely kind and helpful.
A beautiful Lodge Well furnished Beds very comfortable. All the kitchen utensils you need. Would certainly book again. Views and area outstanding ..
