We stayed here for the 1st week of our married life! From when we arrived to when we reluctantly left, it was absolutely perfect! From the gorgeous private outdoor space, to the luxury inside the carriage, it was stunning and every small detail has been thought of. We will most definitely be returning when we can!
Such a lovely place to stay.Fabulous scenery to boot.Lodge we stayed in was perfect.Very clean and comfy all round.
We enjoyed our stay very much as the weather was superb. We were very impressed with the Wee Chip. The only negative thing was that there was a very damp smell in the bathroom which permiated through to the wardrobe in the main bedroom making our clothes smell damp. We assume you are aware of this and things are in hand to rectify it
Just back from spending the best weekend staying at The Porter’s Rest. The attention to detail never went unnoticed and the record player, robes and hot water bottles were lovely little touches! Also, we enjoyed taking in the views whilst enjoying the outdoor bath! Highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking. We can’t wait to go back!
Back for our annual holiday with Jim and Julie, chalet nice and warm as usual on our arrival, good to see everyone again, we always look forward to returning I'm sure it's been 11yrs now and it never disappoints, nothing is too much trouble for the owners, only drawback this year is for whatever reason the owners of the pub decided to close during the school holidays, we didn't let it stop us enjoying our break, already looking forward to returning next year,
Our accommodation was perfect! The views were amazing and it really felt like a home from home. Ideal location for venturing out on walks or day trips. Will definitely be back.
Fabulous views all round. Accommodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Sadly we couldn't order the weather .
Everything went easy, accomodation is great, heating is available as you like! Facility is clean and bequem.
Appin holiday homes is a beautiful place. Everything is spotlessly clean and cared for, the owners are helpful, lovely people. Stunning location. We've been going there for 15yrs, and will be going again.

A beautiful small site on the banks of the loch. Mobile home is very spacious and comfortable with modern amenities. Within reach of Oban for shopping , ferries etc. we would certainly recommend Appin Holiday Homes to anyone looking for a holiday in this wonderful part of Scotland. This was our 2nd visit although many years apart and it certainly lived up to the memories we had of the first.
We had a lovely holiday. The lodge was brilliant and a lovely view from the window. Nice area for visiting other places and the weather was pretty good to.
We had a wonderful time in Badger Sett. The location was stunning, fabulous scenery and easy access to lovely places. Accommodation was spaced out so didn’t feel crammed in so it was peaceful.
We booked both caravans G and F as a family. The location is stunning! I will certainly be recommending to all our friends back home in the New Forest.
Wat een warm welkom kregen wij in de caravan, kachel was al aan en alles piekfijn in orde, van Ewan kregen wij alle info en advies voor een wandeling. mooie caravan met alles er op en aan en een fantastisch uitzicht op het meer en de bergen. perfecte plek om te verblijven.
Location is amazing. Otter holt due to be refurbished this winter so was a wee bit tired but still nice and clean.Two on upper level have already been refurbished and look amazing. We stayed in oak tree lodge last year and that too was lovely. We had a lovely stay again and have already booked to return next year. Location is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for owners,they also live on site so always on hand if needed. Cannot wait to return.
A 2 night stay reduced to one as the beds in the twin room had no sheets and the bedding was soiled.
