Porter's Rest was one of our highlands on this trip. We stayed for one night and thought about returning at a later point of the trip (only reason we didn't is that it unfortunately didn't cross our route again). For us, it had something magical. Especially the outdoor bath and the record player made it a memorable experience. It was clean, comfortable an had everything we needed.

Excellent place to stay with a warm and helpful welcome from staff. Very easy to access with ample parking. It was obvious that lots of attention and thought has gone into Porters Rest - furnishings, decoration, very comfortable bed. The outdoor decking area with bath, seating etc was very secluded and peaceful. Lovely touches such as record player with a wide selection of LPs to choose from and the little torches proved to be useful. Brilliant location for many activities - we went for cycling and the off road routes didn't disappoint. We would very happily go back for cycling, walking or water sports knowing we would have a very comfortable stay after a days activity.

We enjoyed our stay at Porters Rest. It has the atmosphere of a tiny house and the outside terrace with the bath tub is very nice. It is close to nature and calm at night. Thanks for having us.

Just back from spending the best weekend staying at The Porter’s Rest.
The attention to detail never went unnoticed and the record player, robes and hot water bottles were lovely little touches!
Also, we enjoyed taking in the views whilst enjoying the outdoor bath!
Highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking. We can’t wait to go back!

The space is really comfortable… I loved the soft bed.. and having Netflix on the TV. There were some glitches which were ironed out. I enjoyed the stay and having a bath on the terrace; ‘forest bathing’ was really fabulous.
The site is really quirky, with the old railway station just opposite… but close to Glen Coe and all that…

Loved the hut, super comfy, really well equipped. Toilet not in hut (as described) but literally couldn’t be any closer and immaculately clean so if you think not having a toilet in it would put you off don’t let it. Great outside space and beautiful setting. Would highly recommend, wish I could have stayed longer
