Bay Cottage – Sleeps 5 in 3 Bedrooms

Bay Cottage has been completely renovated and adds to our quartet of seafront cottages at Ross Bay but is set in its own grounds with direct shore access and a lovely big shoreline garden. Wonderful sea views and lots of wildlife.

This holiday accommodation is of the highest standard and delightfully situated. It is family owned and managed expertly by Sue with the utmost care and consideration for the comfort and enjoyment of guests. This was our fifth stay and we our booked for two more breaks this year at Ross Bay. Can't wait!

What an absolutely incredible accomodation. Spacious and spotless and very comfortable. A huge open plan downstairs with the seating area at one end and a fully kitted kitchen with dining area at the other. In the middle, there are a pair of super comfie reclining chairs that are placed looking out over the bay. Very pleasant. Three lovely bedrooms upstairs. We stayed in the double room which was en-suite. Very relaxing indeed. Sue made a chocolate cake and provided accompanying ice cream - very yummy. As it was the festive season, the Christmas decs were up which made our stay even more special and there was also a festive hamper awaiting us. Sue is really helpful and easy to contact if required. Ross Bay itself is beautiful and very relaxing. It’s also a great base from which to get out and explore Galloway. Loved it.

Having stayed at all the other cottages belonging to Sue and David this is a chip off the old block, the same good quality fixtures and fittings, it is comfortable and clean and with everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. It has the added bonus that there is no through traffic and no footpath in front of the cottage, it is splendidly isolated at the end of a narrow road with only one neighbour and with a view overlooking Ross Bay towards the other cottages of the retreat. If you are looking to get away from it all this cottage should definitely be on your short list Sue has put a lot of thought and effort into converting this property into a wonderful place to stay.

We were privileged to be the first guests at Bay Cottage .It is a beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated with quality furniture and everything you require.As usual Sue and David’s hospitality was superb nothing is a bother. Homemade cake , ice cream and welcome packs for dogs as well as humans is a lovely touch.We have stayed in all the cottages and they are all furnished to a high standard and cleanliness. The scenery is breathtaking. We have already booked twice for next year. We can’t wait.
