‘Byre By the Sea’ at Ross Bay Retreat is a lovely single storey 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 4) overlooking the bay. 1 x Kingsize double & en-suite shower, 1 x twin bedroom, 2 x bathrooms. Open plan living, dining, kitchen area with wonderful sea views. A multi-fuel burning stove for cosy nights in & alfresco dining on rear patio.

Great local walks around the headland to see Little Ross Island lighthouse & Lake District beyond. Visit Galloway Forest Park, Kirkcudbright, beaches & historic castles.

This was our third stay at The Byre, still as lovely as the first. Our standards are high and it always meets them, we’ve never returned more than once to any holiday property- this in itself speaks volumes.

Once again we had an excellent stay at Byre By The Sea at Ross Bay. All the cottages at Ross Bay are amazing! We like the Byre by the Sea because it is perfect for our needs. It is all on one level and well equipped. Our host, Sue ensures we have the Christmas tree and decorations up for our December stay!

We have lost count of the times we have stayed at Ross Bay. It calls us back, again and again. No matter when you visit during the year your welcome will be warm and includes a homemade cake and ice cream , or if you prefer there will be some fruit waiting for you.

If you want somewhere quiet, homely, with amazing night sky views and a roaring fire, you should try Ross Bay. You won't be disappointed

We thoroughly enjoy our stays each and every time we go. A very friendly welcome from Sue, who does everything possible to make sure we are comfortable.
Dramatic panoramic views, nice walks from the cottages. Spacious, warm and comfortable accommodation to spend the day taking it easy or come back to after trips to the surrounding bays, sights, towns and villages.

Great location for exploring the area. Stunning panoramic views from the cottage. If you have reactive dogs one of the other cottages may be more suitable with less window view in the living space as the road/foot path runs directly in front of the cottage.
Sue, the owner, was both welcoming and helpful and as the other reviews state her cakes are stupendous.
Definitely would recommend, we had a very enjoyable week.

We have been staying at Ross Bay for 10 years and it never disappoints. Everything is first class from the fabulous welcome from Sue to the super bags of dog treats. It is always beautifully clean and very well presented. We feel relaxed as soon as we arrive. Everything is there for a great stay, and nothing is too much trouble if we ask. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Looking forward to May 2025 already xx

We had a lovely week at Ross Bay.
The Byre by the Sea has excellent panoramic views of the bay. Modern bright, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Dog friendly too!
Sue is a fantastic host and her home baked fresh cream sponge delicious.
All the properties at Ross Bay Retreat are to a very high standard, would highly recommend.

Relaxing location at end of road so quiet and peaceful. Owner very friendly and helpful (as were guests in the other Ross Bay cottages). Great walks from the doorstep. Single storey with plenty of space makes property ideal for anyone with limited mobility. OS map marks the bay as sandy but beware as actually quite muddy when tide goes out.

You kindly let us scatter our darling Bindi's ashes into the sea at the front of the cottage. She was such a beautiful little dog, and loved her holidays at The Byre. We always feel like we are coming home when staying here, and are always sad to leave. Everything was clean, fresh and tidy as usual, and the chocolate cake and ice cream was delicious. Whilst every aspect of the Byre By The Sea meets all expectations the only fault that we as a party encountered is the 9 am checkout time we feel it would be more appropriate to checkout at 10am especially after checking in at 4 pm

It is pleasing that we met our guests expectations with the exception of check out times. It takes a while to clean and prepare the cottage for our next guests and we need time for this and time to remedy any problems too. Some guests request a slightly later check out time if they feel they need this and we try to accommodate where possible.

This was our first visit to the Ross Bay Retreat and we have booked to return next year, booking two cottages so that our son and his girlfriend, our daughter and her husband and ourselves can all enjoy the peace and tranquility of Ross Bay together.

We were in need of a rest and Ross Bay delivers in spades! Beautiful setting, the sea couldn't have been more stunning, weather was great, we spent hours just appreciating the surroundings and peacefulness. Absolute heaven.
The cottage, as always, was beautiful, lovely and clean, everything we needed was there for us, even a treat bag for our dogs. Fabulous friendly welcome from Sue. The attention to detail in the cottages and the extras provided makes this place so special and so much superior to anywhere we have been before. So much so that we have been coming back to Ross Bay for several years now, we love it. Cake and ice cream are a wonderful touch, and so tasty, along with a just boiled kettle and provisions to make a hot drink when we arrived.
Already looking forward to our next holiday at Ross Bay, see you again in October Sue xxx

Beautiful property in outstanding location. So peaceful and relaxing. Good weather meant we made full use of patio at beginning and end of day. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped apart from the lack of an extra tea towel and perhaps salt and pepper. Testament to our enjoyment of the property is that we have already booked for next year.

Great place to stay. Only 2 minor comments.The log burner ash pan was full on arrival and the previous occupants rubbish was still in the bin..

If you really do want to relax and get away from it all, this is the place for you. The accommodation is first class. Clean, comfortable and well equipped with quality furnishings and fittings. Lovely and warm especially for cold spring breaks. The ever changing view is amazing and it certainly does get you away from it all. The little touches make all the difference. As always we were very pleased with Sue’s accommodation. The Byre is excellent for people with a mobility issue. It is in a very pleasant location on a working farm. The spring tides were exceptionally high this year. A very relaxing week for us with good places to eat out.

This was our second visit to Ross Bay and our first staying at the Byre. It’s beautiful. Stunnng secluded location, beautifully furnished, brilliantly equipped and very comfortable. Sue and Dave the owners do everything they can to make you feel welcome and looked after.
We have booked for next year.
If you’re considering this property don’t dawdle it gets booked up very fast!

The Byre is like the TARDIS! It’s huge! We felt a little greedy being a party of two and two labs! Living and sleeping spaces all stare out over the stunning, ever-changing seascape. We’d brought logs for the burner but only used it once as the house is so warm, even in a stormy January!
The dogs loved being able to dash onto the beach straight from the front door and the full moon allowed us to have late night walks on the glowing sand when the tide was out.
Interior was immaculate with everything we needed, and a things we didn’t need but thoroughly enjoyed, like the welcome treats! Delicious!
Walks are plentiful without getting in the car, loved seeing the deer and amazing birds.
Hosts were spot on! Please have us back!

Spacious, very comfortable accommodation. Sue, as always, making sure we had all we needed.
Beautiful, peaceful outlook across Ross Bay.
The weather was cold, crisp and frosty while we were there; excellent for walking around Ross and over into Brighouse Bay. Our dog relished the long walks through the fields.
(Kirkcudbright was welcoming as always. The Clann cafe/restaurant was a great place for lunch, especially if you have a dog, lots of attention from the staff!)

An excellent revisit, we wouldn’t expect anything else. We have been visiting Ross Bay Retreat for nine years, have stayed in all the properties over the years, all excellent.
Sue is very welcoming and provides five star accommodation with a five star attention to detail, nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand if required.

This is our 3rd time to Byre by the Sea. It has become our family’s special place and although we have stayed in other cottages , this is by far the best. The location is stunning, waking up in the morning to the sea right outside the window is fabulous.

We came again, and even though the weather was not very summery we enjoyed our stay tremendously! The Byre has for us an instant relaxing feeling and our two boys love it here too. This time be brought an inflatable kayak and had a fantastic time paddling in the bay at high tide. We explored more on foot and found new small beaches. The house is so comfortable and has all you need, plus amazing views - even if it pours outside. Sue as always a kind and lovely host! Thank you for sharing that special place with us! We will be back!

The Old Byre is very comfortable, very clean and has everything that you would need in a cottage. We always get a warm welcome the cake and the ice cream are great and even the dog gets his own welcome pack. We were fortunate to have perfect weather for our stay at The Byre, the beautiful location just a few yards from the shoreline gave us the most magnificent views from every window. The wildlife was spectacular too, we had roe deer and hares grazing right in front of us! The cottage had everything we could have needed and was presented at a very high standard of decoration/furnishing. The owners were very welcoming and they had provided thoughtful little touches, like a welcome pack, guide books, games, etc and a cake on arrival. The local area had plenty of attractions for nature lovers and the local town had loads of historical sights plus many art galleries. Highly recommended!

We never gave Dumfries and Galloway a second thought as we usually sped northwards, until we stopped in Kirkcudbright for a couple of nights on our way to Arran, and decided that a return trip was merited.
We happened across Ross Bay Retreat via the internet and couldn't be more pleased that we did, it offers clean, comfortable and very well appointed accommodation in a quiet and reasonably secluded location with idyllic views over Ross Bay and beyond.
We spent a very pleasant week walking (both from the property and further afield), visited beaches, archeological sites, markets, coffee shops and restaurants, we saw an abundance of wildlife (spectacular displays by red kites), but didn't travel more than 25 miles from the bay.
Plenty left to do and see when we return next year, and some that we will just do again.
Highlights: Sue's welcome cake, Mossyard Beach, Kirkcudbright (and its farmers market), Red Kites displaying in the wild near the river Dee at Glenlochar, Carrick Beach/viewpoint, walking around Big Ross, to name but a few.

Another wonderful relaxing week at Ross Bay. The weather was sunny and we sat out on the patio most of the days, in April! It was truly fabulous. The view is absolutely amazing. As always the cottage was beautifully presented, lovely and clean and everything we needed was there for us. A yummy cake and ice cream was waiting for us, and a wonderful welcome from Sue, who is a perfect host. We felt thoroughly spoilt, fully refreshed and relaxed after a super week, so fabulous that we didn't want to leave. Looking forward to our next holiday in Ross Bay in September.

A very comfortable and cosy week by the sea. The location gives ready acces to several walks and, given that the weather was (mainly) fine, we took full advantage. Don't expect a good phone signal or fast wifi - but you will want to leave those behind in any case. Happily book again.

The Byre By The Sea was perfect. The cottage is gorgeous, the location and the views are amazing. Can’t believe how much time you can spend just looking out at the sea!
Added bonus seeing calves appearing each day in the fields and a few early lambs too.
A lovely welcome from Sue and of course a gorgeous cake.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and very warm with the most comfortable bed.
Loved it. Have booked another of Sue’s properties in the area for next year. Can’t wait to go back.

My 3rd, and certainly not last, stay at Byre by the Sea! As always find my mini-break at Ross Bay relaxing, allowing me to re-charge my batteries. Weather was very kind to me and the dogs this year. As always Sue is the perfect host. Aside from all the thoughful touches such as homemade cake, local ice-cream and a warm kettle on arrival she checks in with you after you've arrived and before departure. As a lone female, except for my dogs, it's reassuring to know she's there if needed. Will definitely be back next year!

Wow, where to start ?

We were in the Byre for a total of 20mins when I accessed the booking form to book again for 2023.
We were absolutely blown away by the whole place.

There was a welcome cake and ice-cream which went down an absolute treat.

Sue popped in to say hello and to say she would be on hand if we needed anything.

The whole house was amazing, finished to a very high standard and had everything that we needed for a week away.
There was some lovely little touches such as the "in case you forget box" and "welcome refreshment" pack with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, and poo bags for the dog.

We had a brilliant week away, the view itself is worth the money. I took a few books with me but I was so distracted by the ever changing beautiful landscape I kept reading the same sentence over and over again. Lesson learned don't sit in the living room attempting to read, just sit back and drink in the amazing view.

The kitchen had everything that we needed for a weeks self-catering, my hubby likes to cook and was impressed with the level of utensils available.

We had one downside for our boys aged 13 & 11, the WIFI signal was not strong enough for them to play their Play Station online and to stream Netflix. Has that stopped us from booking again? Not at all.

All in all, the most wonderful, relaxing week away we have had in a long time.
Can't wait for our next visit.

Very comfortable, very clean and everything that you would need in a cottage. Although this is the 1st visit to this cottage it is the 9th time that we've stayed at Ross Bay I think that speaks for itself. This was originally our April 2020 holiday then April 2021 holiday but due to lockdowns both were cancelled however Sue was good and honoured our booking. Sue and family are always welcoming nothing is too much trouble for them. Even the weather was kind to us this stay - we have already booked for our next visit.

We have had to cancel this holiday twice due to C19. Finally got there and the peace and quiet was amazing. We had a week of walks and chilling by the sea. I could not recommend Ross Bay more. The Briar was modern and immaculately clean. Everything you need was there. We had Morrisons to deliver our groceries and spent the rest of the week just chilling and re tuning our minds.
It was perfect. Plus their chocolate cake was to die for xxx

We came back, this time in winter, but it was just as gorgeous. Amazing location and the Byre gives you the best views of it, no matter the weather. It is such a spacious place and everybody, two boys and dog and parents relaxed right into it. Cannot think of one negative thing, apart from that it is really hard to book a free spot because it us such a jewel of a place. Sue is the perfect host and thank you again for sharing your beautiful Ross Bay with us. We will be back.

The cottage was just perfect with everything to hand including the little touches like toiletries and delicious chocolate cake
It was the most relaxing weeks holiday watching the changing skies and going for long walks

It was our 4th holiday here at Ross Bay, and yet again we were not disappointed with anything! It is always spotless and tidy, cake and ice cream at the ready, and a warm welcome and goodbye from Sue. The weather was lovely and warm, and the views were breathtaking as usual. You can do as much, or as little as you want on this type of holiday. We had quite a laid back lazy break this time, but you can easily find lots of things to do, and places to eat, etc. Thank you again Sue and family for another wonderful holiday.

Our return visit proved to be just as lovely as the first. The best place we have stayed in, and weve had quite a few ! Location, cottage, fantastic and of course a cake and local ice cream to welcome us. And the weather was beautiful so all in all a great stay. Fantastic for dogs, walking and total relaxation . Sue is so welcoming and friendly and certainly takes a pride in the cottages.

This cottage has fantastic sea views and the cleanliness is 100%. There is no immediate facilities but sue and the team will even put your order away from azda or tesco. A very special welcome awaits you with homemade cake and ice cream and welcome packs of tea and coffee. There is plenty of great walks or drives to see the spectacular countryside or a nice little trip into kirkcudbright an artists town. I would recommend this special retreat to anyone the view alone is worth it. I am disabled and it has a ramp to the cottage and plenty of room for wheelchair access.

Fabulous property. A to-die-for outlook from the Lounge Diner. Well equipped with everything you could need, including microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Every home comfort. Lots of good walks or strolls locally and the small but lovely Brighouse Beach 5 minutes away. And a large complimentary chocolate cake and ice cream waiting for us in the the fridgefreezer ! This was our 3rd stay at the Byre in the space of 1 year. We love it there, as the title says it is "Perfectly Lovely". We have booked twice for next year and can't wait. Sue is a wonderful host and greets us at the start of our holiday, and calls round just before we leave to make sure everything was just right, and to say goodbye. It is so relaxing there and you can do as much or as little as you want. You can laze around all day taking in the beautiful scenery from the living room, go for a coastal country walk, or go for a drive to the different towns and beaches etc. There are plenty of shops, takeaways and supermarkets to choose from in the different towns as well. We always come across plenty of wildlife and watch the seabirds through our binoculars from our balcony. Thank you again Sue and family for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time and I would happily give 10 out of 5! The Byre is beautiful decorated and so spacious, worked perfect for us (family with two boys 6 and 5 and dog). Everything over lounge, beds and bathrooms very comfortable and we felt quickly at home, especially with a delicious cake and ice cream waiting for us. The big windows are amazing, all with sea view.
Ross Bay is a stunning location and we never got tired of sucking in the views with the changing tides and weather. Most of the time the bay is muddy, but definitely the glorious kind of mud! The boys loved their freedom in exploring every corner, rock pooling, mud fight, shell seeking, and we as well, but also enjoyed watching them from the terrace with a coffee or wine. Lovely walks around and the next bay, Brighouse Bay is sandy and beautiful (25 min walk or 5 min drive). And NO MIDGES at all.
We stayed a lot in the area because most things were still closed, but that was fine with us, we will come back for some more exploring! Forest of Galloway is not far away and we spend a great day up there.
Sue was lovely and they did everything possible to make you feel welcome and also safe during Corona-times. The cottage was spotless and shiny clean. Cannot recommend it more!
If you love a peaceful place by the sea with open skies there is no better one. We could have stayed much longer.

Our 2nd visit to The Byre, and again we were not disappointed at all. We thought we were not going to get our July holiday this year because it was cancelled due to the dreadful Covid 19, but at the last minute we were contacted by Sue, and were asked if we still wanted to go because the restrictions on self catering had been lifted and brought forward from mid July to early July. Of course we said yes! While we were there, it was as if there wasn't a pandemic going on at all. It was so relaxing. Sue greeted us as usual on our arrival, but stayed outside the Byre so that she was socially distanced from us. A delicious chocolate cake awaited us in the fridge along with ice cream in the freezer. The Byre was absolutely spotless and there were no worries of catching any germs because they are following the rules and cleaning protocols completely. The other cottages were full, and the neighbours were friendly and said hello and waved from a safe distance. We travelled around in the car exploring new places and lovely quiet beaches. We went for walks in the county side and went shelling and rock pooling on the beach in front of the Byre. There are plenty of supermarkets big and small to get your groceries, and a few days before we came home more things were opening up because more restrictions had been lifted. Things really felt like they were getting back to a kind of normality. Don't forget your face masks, it is mandatory to wear them in shops in Scotland. We had a wonderful time at the Byre, and the spectacular views from every window never disappoints whatever the weather. This was a real retreat and just what we needed. We were recommended this cottage by friends and it was all that they told us it would be. Sue was lovely and the welcoming cake was delicious. The cottage has been refurbished to a high standard, with lots of space inside and out, where you can enjoy the stunning location.
The only thing I think I could add would be some milk in the fridge, as the cottage is so far from any shops that if you haven't packed any then you would have to go back out to get some before you could make a cuppa.
Would definitely return.

Byre by the Sea was one of the best self-catering places we have stayed in. We have stayed in a lot over recent years. The view from the large lounge and bedroom windows is stunning - looking out across the bay, watching the tide rise and fall, and the birds feeding at the water's edge. The property was warm and comfortable with lots of space. Ideal for those who like a quiet holiday with lots of walking - from the door and further afield. A good base for exploring that part of southern Scotland. The price was very reasonable too.

Where do I start? The cottage was absolutely beautiful, the decor is so tasteful, everywhere was immaculately clean . The views from the full length views are stunning and it was wonderful waking up from our bedroom to see the sea each morning.
Sue was a fabulous host, her chocolate fudge cake was heavenly and small touches like arriving to the lights on and a warm kettle were lovely.
Watching the tides come and go, watching the weather change and the dark skies at night with all the stars was magical.
Only downside was leaving !
Will definitely be back.

This was my first stay at Ross Bay Retreat and would definitely recommend it to others. Great location. Views from accommodation are stunning whatever the weather! Inside the cottage was spacious, stylish, warm and comfortable. On arrival there was a warm kettle, delicious homemade cake and a tub of local ice-cream in the freezer. Cottage was very well equipped for both humans and dogs. Sue popped along to say 'hello' and check everything was okay. Reassuring to know that she and/or David were always nearby if required. Enthused about it so much that my mother has booked a cottage for next month! Hope to return myself if not fully booked as seem to be a lot of repeat clients which speaks for itself.

In January we can certainly experience all weathers which usually involve some blustery wind, and wild seas with splashing waves............this was the case today as Storm Brendan moves in from the West. We are looking forward to meeting our guests mother next month, and hope she will too enjoy her stay with us at Ross Bay.

We stayed for a week for our New Year Holiday. The accommodation was amazing. Very spacious and light. It was very well decorated, clean and tidy. Chocolate cake on arrival and presents under the christmas tree. The location is great for walking and exploring the local area. Best of all was the views from the full length windows.

Fabulous accommodation very well equipped and very very very clean fantastic views you can do as much or as little as you want. Delivery of food was all put away for me another bonus and cake and ice cream welcome pack another bonus. Cannot praise this byre enough look forward to going back

Byre by the Sea is a fantastic cottage with amazing views of Ross Bay. We had previously stayed in two of the other cottages at Ross Bay Retreats, but the Byre was even better than expected. Sue and David's welcome was as warm as ever and the peaceful setting was just what we needed. We never tired of the view, whatever the weather. It is not easy to find luxury cottages which accept two dogs so Ross Bay has become one of our favourite destinations. Definitely deserved to win the regional Scottish Thistle Awards for self-catering accommodation. Good luck for the national competition!

Another wonderful holiday at Ross bay. What a location!! It is perfect place for rest and relaxation and if you want to do more, it is all available in the surrounding areas. The local towns are great to visit with some unique shopping offering so much more than the usual high street. There are some excellent walks and amazing wildlife to watch whatever the weather. It was our first stay in Byre by the Sea and we were not disappointed. The accommodation has been finished to very high standard and there was nothing we could want for. The panoramic views from Byre by the sea are amazing from sunrise to sunset, you never get bored of the view. There is always something new to see with the changing of the tide. Sue and Dave are wonderful hosts and as always the cake on arrival is a wonderful welcome treat. We never want to leave and look forward to returning next year. Just perfect!!

Property was amazing. The interior had everything you could possibly need. Spotless clean and very warm. Excellent sea views and beautiful sun rises. Plenty lovely walks, and plenty back roads for driving to other quiet places. Perfect holiday place if you enjoy peace n quiet. Will definitely be back. 10/10.

Stunning accommodation and setting. Spacious house which is beautifully furnished and equipped with top quality appliances. Of the last 9 self catering properties we have stayed in Byre by the Sea has been the best and most reasonable.
It is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, with quality fixtures and fittings. Comfortable beds and crisp white bed linen.
We were welcomed by Sue who left a lovely home baked cake and a tub of ice cream for us to enjoy.
We enjoyed our stay so much we booked to stay next year.

The views as we drove up to the Byre were amazing, and the Byre itself was fantastic. Everything was immaculate. A high standard of decor, furniture and appliances. A delicious chocolate fudge cake awaited us on the counter top, some Cream O' Galloway ice cream was in the freezer, and even the kettle was warm, ready for a cuppa. Soon after we arrived we were welcomed by Sue (the lovely owner of Ross Bay Retreat). Sue goes the extra mile with the tasty treats and all the little touches, and it does make a difference, it makes your stay feel "extra" special. The Byre is spacious and has everything you need and more. My husband, our daughter, myself and our little dog were always warm and very comfortable. The beds are comfy, the chairs and sofa are really comfy too. There are views from both bedrooms and the living/kitchen/dining room (which has huge windows). The balcony off the dining area of the Byre is a great look out point, and so is the large patio area at the entrance of the Byre which has sun all day. On clear nights the stars are so big and plentiful because there is hardly any light pollution, they look like they are just above your head. You can go walking, explore the different beaches along the coastline and visit the nearby towns. This was a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and we have already booked twice for next year. Byre by the Sea on Ross Bay was perfect for a much needed get away from city life. Uninterrupted views of the shoreline with its bird life and wild flowers, the sound of silence, and the tides rolling in and out over the salt marshes each day. The cottage is a brand new conversion on Ross Bay Farm, it only opened to bookings in July 2019, so it is well equipped and everything is in good working order. It is also extremely spacious. Sue was a wonderful host, friendly and helpful, and her home baked fruit cake on arrival was really delicious. There was also a big tub of local ice-cream in the freezer as part of the welcome, which sadly we didn't discover till we were leaving!

Just returned from a week at the new cottage Byre by the Sea at Ross Bay Retreat and it did not disappoint. Our week there was so relaxing and enjoyable. The cottage is up to the usual high standard of all the cottages at Ross Bay - so clean, well equipped and comfortable and with the most amazing views over the bay! David and Sue are always on hand for any queries. We really had a wonderful holiday!

We have stayed at Ross Bay retreat several times and in all of Sue's houses.
They are all finished and maintained to a very high standard and Sue makes you very welcome.
We stayed in Byre by the Sea in July this year and were very lucky to be the first people to stay.
It has the most fantastic views of the bay and across the Solway to the Lake District and Skiddaw.
It is all on one level and ideal for anyone who has access difficulties with steps and stairs.
The living accommodation is superb and very well planned and presented.
We have already booked again for next year.

We were very lucky to find this property available in a place we really wanted to visit. The property has been recently converted to a very high standard, is very well equipped with good quality furnishings and no expense was spared in making us welcome. The views are fantastic and it is just a lovely spot to relax in. For me personally, being unusually and extremely short, the beds were too high and I needed help getting into bed which was a bit awkward, and we both found the mattress a bit soft. However, it must be impossible to furnish properties to suit every size and personal preference so this is not really a complaint. For future reference, for wheelchair users and bit more hard surface around the parking space would be helpful, especially in wet conditions. The help and attention we got from the owners was fantastic and we would like to thank them for a very enjoyable week.
