Beech is our largest cottage - single storey with 3 bedrooms. The lounge/dining area is spacious and has double doors facing south west. The kitchen is separate but connected via a large opening. The family bathroom has a powerful aqualisa shower over the bath. There are 2 twins and a king bedroom with ensuite shower room. Beech is accessible to wheelchairs (but not adapted). We have stayed at Beech Cottage over many years and still absolutely love our time there! As our children have grown up we have experienced all that Wood Farm has to offer and we love it! Diana is always super friendly and the setting is just magical. We always wish we could stay longer!

Beautiful cottage. I visited with my husband and toddler, it was a great location, clean cottage and comfortable. The wood farm grounds had lots to explore with our toddler, and cottages were in a peaceful location close to lots of attractions. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due a family emergency but we would love to visit again.

Loved our stay, weather was good which helped, Diana our host took the time to check all was okay on arrival and before departure. Fantastic facility for our 2 1/2 year old grandson with a huge play area, good dog walking and to cap it all there were 2 lambs born on the farm during our stay. Well equipped cottage and a great location.

beautiful place to stay and Diann was very welcoming and checked we had all we needed - all essentials were provided which was excellent - the views were stunning from our cottage and so peaceful - had a lovely stay and certainly would come back again
only comment the on suite was a little small but appreciate building retrictions would play a part in this.

We return with family every other year and use Beech as the base cottage for dining because of its large outdoor seating area and views as the sun sets. Clean and well equipped we look forwards to returning again!

We have been coming to Wood Farm Cottages for a decade now, and we absolutely love it! Beech Cottage is clean, spacious and well-equipped. The real selling point for us is the outdoor play area and the amount of space for the kids to just run around and have fun. There's a lovely walk through the fields to the local pub, The Pigs, and the Farm is close to so many fabulous attractions such as Cromer, Sheringham, Blickling, Blakeney Point and the list goes on. We hope to return again soon. Thank you!

we had such a wonderful long weekend at Wood farm. The play area and facilities are fantastic and the children look forward to getting out there and running around every morning. The local area is absolutely beautiful and there is plenty to do regardless of the weather. on our journey home we were already looking at our calendars to see when we could come back!

Beech cottage was great for our family holiday and our third visit to Wood Farm cottages! Plenty of space in the cottage and it was well equipped with everything we needed (even kids plates, cups and bowls). Wood farm has so much to offer for families and the play park and ride on tractors were a big hit with our nearly four year old! Location was great for exploring Norfolk! Thanks again fot another great stay!

We booked Beech and Holly cottages for a get together of 4 generations of family ranging in age from 9 months to 88 years….the stay could not have been more perfect, my 88 year old Mum had a lovely time and the great grandkids played endlessly in the play area. Lovely cottages, tons to do locally and such friendly hosts, we couldn’t have asked for more….

We had a fantastic short break, the cottage was well equipped, warm, light and very comfortable beds. Our 4 year olds loved having a fabulous playground outside the door and going to see the sheep, playing on the pedal tractors and burning up any energy they still had after a day on the beach or running around the woods. It's well located, a quiet peaceful setting and the pub at the end of the road is a lovely topping. We'll be back

My wife and I discovered this property, were so satisfied with our stays that we have returned each year except when COVID restrictions didn’t allow. A happy few days were spent at Beech Cottage by three birdwatching friends. Arriving in sunshine we sat outside with a cup of tea and later, glass of wine on hand by then, we watched a skein of geese fly over. A visit to Cley Marshes the following day provided more birding spectacles and when the weather turned on the following two days, we found lots to occupy ourselves in Holt. Beech Cottage was ideal for us and we would love to come again!

We had a fabulous weeks holiday at Wood Farm Cottages and certainly hope to book again.

The accommodation is really well equipped and in the kitchen you have everything you need to cook. The location is on a farm and you have super views all around, there is also a pub 10 minutes walk away that is child and dog friendly.

When we were there the children meet up in the morning and soon make friends on the zip wire, playing football and scooting around on mini tractors, we met a family we are staying in touch with as well. In the evening there are bbqs you can borrow.

The location, several beaches nearby you can take your pick, if you have a national trust card, free parking is available at a lot of the prime sights. As recommended by Wood Farm we also went on a wonderful walk at Stiffkey. The family really take time and effort to make sure you have a great stay and tip top recommendations. Chris has set up a map room and you are spoilt for choice with clear instructions what is on and what to do in the area.

If you want to say on a farm that is peaceful, green space, great walks, near local market towns, beaches galore, watch the stars and plenty of nature around you at night this is for you. Thank you Diana and Chris we will be back.

This was our third time staying at Beech Cottage at Woodfarm Cottages. That in itself should tell you how good it is.

Superbly located in the village of Edgefield, really handy for visiting lots of places in North Norfolk like Blickling Hall, Sheringham, Holt Country Park, Holkham Hall, to name a few.

The cottages are all really nice and spacious, very clean and well appointed. The play area and equipment (literally on your doorstep) kept our three children and their cousins occupied for hours and hours. The tampoline, zipwire, football field, play barn and games room were all well used by them, leaving the adults free to relax.

The farm is in a beautiful quiet location, with great walking on site and in the surrounding area. Lots of wildlife around too. The hosts were available and attentive without being in any way intrusive.

I highly recommend Woodfarm Cottages to anyone wanting a relaxing family holiday in a lovely rural setting.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wood Farm Cottages. Everything is kept in immaculate condition both inside and outside. We stayed in Beech cottage which was just the right size for 4 adults and 2 children. Ours sons absolutely loved the play field and barn which had ride on tractors.
The farm itself is close to Holt which has some lovely shops and cafes plus a handy Safeway to buy groceries from. It was great to be able to walk across the fields for Sunday lunch at The Pigs (which also has play areas to occupy children).
Most of our day trips were to the nearby coast, with one of our highlights being a seal watching trip from Blakeney Point. Slightly further afield the beaches of Wells and Holkham are vast and sandy with plenty of space for beach games.
Overall a fantastic stay for all ages (toddler through to grandparents!) and would definitely return.

It was our first time at Wood Cottages and was pleasantly surprised. Stayed in Beech Cottage although there was only two of us, as we had our dog and liked it was all on one level. The barn was lovely, clean and very comfortable. Lovely outlook . An enclosed garden would have been nice so we could let our dog off the lead , especially in the summer months when the playground is busy. Other than that beautiful location and the owners were lovely , definitely return.

We stayed in the one-storey cottage. It was of very good standard. Brilliant for my granddaughters with all the play equipment right outside and games room. Lovely and quiet location but within easy travelling distance of the seaside. Owners very helpful and responsive. Would love to go again.

We stayed at wood farm to celebrate my daughters birthday with family. It was a great weekend the younger ones loved the play area and the barn was great for family fun .
The sheep and wildlife are lovely to watch. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and everything you need is provided. We will definitely be returning .

This was our twenty fourth visit and we certainly wouldn’t have been returning if we hadn’t been completely satisfied. For about twelve years I booked for a group of about 20 adults to spend a week with us occupying all the cottages. Every participant was delighted and I didn’t have a single complaint.. the fact that we are planning to return again next year surely says everything. The cottage is so well equipped and tastefully furnished. We saw some beautiful sunsets from the patio window as well as wildlife, hares, deer, woodpecker, jay.
The Grandchildren 11 & 8 so enjoyed the play areas both inside and out. It was relaxing for us to sit on the patio with a cuppa and enjoy the peaceful, well maintained, spacious surroundings.
The cottages are well situated for countryside and coast. Most beaches being dog friendly.
We would thoroughly recommend Wood Farm cottages and look forward to a return visit.

As regular visitors to Wood Farm we always look forward to our stay, this time in Beech, a first for our family.
We had the benefit of being directly next to the open lawn and hosting family for evening meals which we loved. Our 3 daughters, and their cousins of similar ages, could roam safely from the crack of dawn which saved a number of ‘bailiff visits’ to their grandparents which I understand were most appreciated!

The location and property was very good. Diana, Chris and Kerry were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only complaint I would like to make is the en-suite is very small. There were no pictures of the en-suite when viewing the cottage. It was very hard to sit on the toilet properly and the sink so small my husband could not shave in there.

We stayed for 4 nights in three of the cottages which are all cozy and well equipped. Each cottage has it's own spot outside. The farm is a lovely place well kept and very well thought out. An ideal safe place for children to run free with lots of activities in the garden and in the barn. I highly recommend the farm and hope to return. Close to the coast and Holt.

We have stayed at Wood Farm cottages for a few years now and will be returning for more! We love the setting as it is so peaceful but equally such a great location to have as a base as it is so close to many attractions. We love going to the National trust properties and for a boat trip in Wroxham.
As a large family we each have a cottage, some with our beloved dogs. The fields provided for dog walking are lovely. Often in the morning I would see deer.
I would love if in the near future that Beech Cottage has a fenced garden as this would allow us to just open the doors in the sunshine and relax on the patio without having to have our dog on a lead. However, it isn’t a problem that would stop us returning!!

This was a stay very helpfully rebooked by Diana after I had to cancel last Christmas, so we’ve been looking forward to this for about 18 months!

A warm welcome from the team as we settled into the cottage. It is a little off the beaten track (we chose it for this reason) but easy to find and close enough to a farm shop or Holt if you need anything.

Cottage was well organised for dog owners and the set up made it easy to look after and deal with muddy paws before they could make a mess. Our hound enjoyed the local walks and the views from the French windows.

Warm, cosy and clean with comfortable beds (this was specifically commented upon by my teen) we were very relaxed. As I was cooking Christmas dinner, I was relieved to see that every cooking utensil I could need had been provided. I’d packed a couple of things but didn’t need them. Perhaps a strange thing to notice, but we appreciated the number of plates, bowls etc as this meant we weren’t constantly putting on the dishwasher.

We enjoyed using the pool table (save up your 20p pieces) and the table tennis- a good way to avoid the winter weather.

A well thought out, lovely place to stay. We plan to come back!

We booked Beech cottage with our family as we were booked to see the Thursford spectacular.Unfortunately this was cancelled.we still had a truly lovely weekend in the cottage.It had everything we could have asked for.The beds were soooo comfortable!
We had a small problem with the heating in one of the bedrooms but Diana and Chris responded quickly and the problem was very soon sorted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again in Beech Cottage. It was just as we remembered it from our previous visits with beautiful decor throughout. Such a peaceful location so we were able to totally relax with our friends. We enjoyed our walks around the fields & loved stopping off to have a fuss of Georgie & Gio the 2 resident sheep. The site is great, with our kids (4&13) we made full use of the play areas, dart board, table tennis, pool table, table football etc.
Owners are lovely & helpful - rescued us with matches for our BBQ, they have several BBQs available to borrow.
The field walk is very tranquil, saw a hare and some bunnies, at night there is hardly any light pollution so great star spotting.
Site is very handy for the coast, would recommend West Runton beach. Also visited Hillside animal sanctuary, Sheringham, Holt & Cromer
Would very happily return

My husband and I came here for a week holiday with our two young children and parents. Our cottage was the perfect size for all 6 of us. We loved the patio area and were fortunate that the weather was warm enough to be able to sit outside in the evenings. Our children loved the play area, particularly the trampoline! Our cottage was ideally located near the play area so the children could happily run around whilst the grandparents were sitting outside. Wood Farm is in a lovely rural yet easily accessible area. We were thrilled when we spotted a hare hoping along the grass outside our kitchen window! I would definitely like to come back again in the future.

We had a lovely stay in beech cottage. The cottage is well appointed with nice decor, clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. The heating was always available and there was plenty of hot water along with a good shower. Also a very comfy bed!
You can roam freely around the grounds and there was enough to keep our 12 month old amused, with a particular favourite being the disused old tractor which the little ones can pretend to ride. Location is good, just a short car journey to Holt and a pub within walking distance which looked lovely albeit we didn’t actually make it there for a meal. The hosts are very helpful and friendly.

We were very impressed with the level of care considering the current COVID situation. The cottage was immaculate and very clean, and there was plenty of social distancing with other guests.
The cottage itself was very comfortable and met all our needs. We loved the location of Beech cottage, perfect for our family of young children. Diana and Chris provided everything we needed for our one year old twins, including travel cots and highchairs. This made it much easier for us.
Our older children loved the play park, even with the changes imposed due to COVID.
Overall, it was a wonderful week away in the Norfolk countryside. We loved it so much that we will be returning again.

We really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed in Beech Cottage which had just benefited from a renovation.

Nice kitchen which was superbly thought out with enough crockery etc to be able to cook.

We are going to be coming back for sure. We bought our dog with us which was great, lots of nice walks around plus a dog washing station to hose them down afterwards.

Did leave a feedback of excellent and we were very happy, but did note that if the owners could provide for a hire fee the dog crates that would be really beneficial as we have a largish dog so her bed and taking her crate took up most of our car!

Cannot fault anything though....pub round the corner (The Pigs) is nice (make sure you use your 10% discount card)

Holt is not far if you want to pop further afield and there is a large Budgens Supermarket there. Sherringham beach not to far (by car) for the kids too.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Our fifth visit - says it all really!! - and won't be our last!

We - family of five with three boys and grandma - loved our week at Wood Farm again this year. The venue caters really well for all ages of children with a variety of activities to keep them busy and having fun! Being October half term, the weather was colder than when we usually stay, and wetter, but with the games room (pool table, table footie, darts and table tennis) and the barn (badminton, basketball and footie) there was still LOTS to do!

We didn't venture out too much this time but from this visit we do recommend the RNLI museum in Cromer and the Holt / Sheringham Railway.

We had a lovely holiday in Beech Cottage, a relaxing location a safe play area close to cottages but far enough away to still be able to relax. Surrounding country side and views beautiful, and great walks for dogs round the fields on the farm. Although there was tea and coffee sachets in the kitchen some milk and biscuits would of made it perfect, while waiting for shopping to arrive. Would be more than happy to return next year.

We found everything perfect. We were greeted by Dianne when we arrived she made us feel welcome.
The cottage was very nice clean all we needed for cooking was provided in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable lovely clean bedding. The facilities for the children were perfect my grandson loved the sandpit and the slide. I managed to play table tennis with my son. The facilities for grown ups were good too. We loved the walks that were provided for us. Managed to do a walk mos nights.
Would come back next year if possible.

An excellent cottage in a fabulous spot, great grounds and views.
Comfortable accommodation throughout with a well equipped kitchen , excellent main bathroom. The only thing that lets it down is the very small en-suite to the main bedroom. Other than that it’s perfect. Friendly owners and very helpful staff on site throughout our stay who were able to advise re local attractions and places to eat. Hunworth bell is an excellent place to as is bywords and Morston Hall

We have stayed at Wood Farm Cottages over many years. The reason we keep coming back is we know exactly what to expect. The cottages are always clean, warm, and well equipped. The location is ideal to access the areas of Norfolk we know and love. Holt is such a super town to visit and browse around and we time our visits to enable us to kill some Christmas shopping.
We always have a dog with us and really appreciated the extended dog walking facilities.
It is interesting to see the developments each time we visit... like the dog wash station and applaud the biomas heating. Would like to see the pine furniture renovated or replaced... looking tired. A very picky point but previously there have been blankets in the wardrobes which have enabled me to make up a bed for a family member who hates duvets. Brought an extra sheet this time, but blankets were nowhere to be seen! Minor detail

We also agree about the look of the pine furniture hence Oak and Holly have already been totally upcycled - see photos on website (we did not want to replace as the furniture is still fully functional). Another great week at Beech Cottage! The Farm works so well for families (we had 9, 6 and 3 year olds plus grandma with us). We spent more time at the Farm this year making use of facilities e.g.: trampoline, walks around fields, table tennis, darts, badminton, zip line ...! We were esp pleased to see an owl!
While we were there our eldest kept saying, 'When we come back next year ...!' - says it all really - assuming there's availability!!

As always Woodfarm is a very comfortable site with good quality accommodation and pleasant surroundings.
There were a couple of minor issues during this visit but once mentioned to the owner these were satisfactorily resolved.
With a new inclusion of a Map Room on site giving an area where walks and excursions can be planned.
All in all another good week in Norfolk based at Edgefield.

My Wife and I found the cottage very clean and comfortable in a lovely setting.
A lot of thought and gone into the layout of the grounds the area for a dog exercise was a plus.
A small fenced off area outside of the French doors would be nice,to enable the doors to be open and the dog contained,it would also give some privacy. Thankyou for a enjoyable stay

Ahead of the visit, the booking process and communications from Diana were excellent. On arrival we were shown to the cottage by Diana who made us feel very welcome. The cottage itself was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our stay - comfy beds, modern kitchen, spacious lounge. The real bonus were the grounds / facilities - excellent outdoor play area with zip wire, trampoline, slides, etc and a football pitch - which we made the most of during the (limited) sunny spells. There's also a barn with a badminton court, another with table tennis and a games room with a pool table. 10 minute walk to the pub where we had a great meal. Location is excellent - easy to get into Holt, the north coast and Norwich. As a relaxing place to stay where the kids can safely have fun I would heartily recommend Wood Farm.

Wood Farm is absolutely wonderful - great location in the heart of the countryside, near the beaches, with lovely fresh, comfortable and clean rooms. Beech cottage is especially great as the living area connecting to the kitchen makes a really nice socialising space for cooking and eating together, playing games etc.

Having the Pigs pub within walking distance is a real unique selling point for Wood Farm, as you can just wander down and back for a few drinks / dinner without having to worry about driving etc!

Diana and her team were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived.

All in all a great experience, everything a countryside getaway should be. I would come back in a heartbeat!

This was our third visit to Wood Farm & once again, we had a super holiday! With three young boys, the outdoor space & play facilities work really well giving the adults chance for a sit down & a glass of wine or a cuppa! Wanted to book for 2018 but Beech Cottage was already booked! As always, Diana was really friendly & helpful. We had no problem with the hot water - there were six of us & all was fine! Amazing friendly hosts were nothing was too much trouble, they genuinely wanted your stay to be perfect. This holiday cottage had the most comfortable beds and powerful shower with never ending hot water. Location couldn't be beaten, maintained set aside around farm fields for dog walks; despite being in a complex of 4-5 cottages we were never disturbed by any neighbours. Ample parking for multiple vehicles. Kitchen was absolutely packed with everything you could possibly need (we cooked a full Christmas dinner with ease). 'The Pigs' well known restaurant and public house was within a mile of the cottage and do amazing food (book to avoid disappointment) and Diana & Chris leave a discount voucher in the cottage for you.

Would definitely return again and strongly suggest you book too!

We were a party of 5 including our granddaughter of 6. The grounds were beautifully kept as we approached the barns. Beech Cottage was perfect for our stay. The children's playground area was really great. We were really cosy in the evenings after walks on Wells beach. Everything was catered for throughout the cottage for our comfort. We loved it.

We spent a lovely week at Beech Cottage.It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped.Our dog particularly enjoyed the farm location and walks around the field margins.We had stayed at Wood Farm previously with our son, daughter-in-law and young granddaughter and had found it excellent for children with it's dedicated lawned area containing swings, slide, mini soccer pitch etc, along with games room. The location is also perfect close to the charming country town of Holt, country parks, beaches and the coastal villages of North Norfolk. We'll be back!

I recently spent another week at Wood Farm Cottages. I spent a quite a bit of that time trying to figure out how many years we have been holidaying there. I think it's six or seven. In the end I gave up trying to solve the problem because I was content with all of the happy memories that it stirred up.

This place has been a sanctuary of happiness for me and my family. It's beautiful, has everything we need, and is perfectly positioned - not too far and not too close.

The owner, Diana, is welcoming and friendly, and, I must say, probably the most conscientious host I've ever encountered. She's always improving the site, always keen to listen to guests and always helped when we asked. After all these years it's always a pleasure to see her.

I have to admit that it's difficult for me to write this review. Wood Farm, for me, is my secret. It's my one week a year in which I have no worries or problems. I relax, and have fun and go it my pace, in relative seclusion. I don't really want to tell the world about what a nice place it is because I love it so much. It's unspoiled, and although it's not mine, I do feel very at home there.

This year there were some changes. The bins had been moved (big improvement. Good idea). Some partitions had been put up in the yard but they were not at all obstructive. I prefer to feel open and free. I enjoy seeing my neighbors pass by, and saying hello. If you're there you're part of the community, part of the experience. We have always met nice people there. Families, much like our own, seeking peace and tranquility and a little fun.

The new kitchen in Beech Cottage was lovely. As usual everything was very comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately, we missed out on booking for next year as it was already fully booked. We wil return the following year, and the year after that, and so on. Year after year.

The location was great - close to amenities in Holt and a great pub within walking distance. Outdoor play area excellent for the children (and adults). The patio area for this cottage still needs to be made more private as other guests were walking straight past your French doors. Inside the cottage the space was just about manageable for 5. Kitchen area only really suitable for breakfast not enough space to cook a meal. Decor was ok - could do with modernising. The bathrooms were the worst thing. The ensuite was so tiny it didn't get used - would be better to make the bedroom bigger so we didn't keep banging into the bed. It also smelt not very pleasant. The main bathroom was large enough but needs a serious update. Showers over baths are awful particularly with a shower curtain! The floor was flooded everyday because of this. Not enough storage space either - only a tiny shelf which my younger children couldn't reach for their toothbrushes. We had issues with hot water - my eldest only had one hot shower all week.
The staff were very helpful though - trying to sort the water issue out and also the wifi problems we had - you need wifi as the coverage for mobiles around the area is poor.
The property benefitted from being able to use the laundry room which is great although more outdoor washing lines and pegs needed.

Thank you for taking the time to review Beech Cottage. We have taken on board your suggestions of more shelf space in the bathroom and outdoor clothes lines. We appreciate your rating of 5 star for customer service, Chris and I aim to deal with any problems as quickly as possible, which we were able to do with the lack of wifi and hot water. We’re not sure why, with the immersion heater on all day, your eldest daughter still ended up with cold showers as the tank in the roof holds 150 litres and will reheat within 20 minutes– but we understand that this must have been frustrating for her. We will also have a think about the wording on our website as we are not able to increase the size of the family bathroom to accommodate a second walk in shower. We have chosen to use a shower curtain in Beech (most other cottages have a shower screen) as it is a wheelchair accessible cottage and a screen does not allow easy enough access to the bath/shower and toilet. Yes, the ensuite shower room is small, but we know guests appreciate having their own basin and loo.

We have been staying in Beech Cottage for the past nine years, and hope to come many more,
In the beginning we came with our disabled son-in-law and later also with a carer. Everyone was
very helpful and we had confidence that we would manage very well, which we did.We all enjoyed
ourselves.
It is always a pleasure to see all the improvements and extras which have been added over the years..

It was a lovely family get way after Christmas. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation was very clean and tidy with everything you need. We had a games night with our friends who were staying in another cottage, we still had plenty of room .

I visited with elderly ladies. They all enjoyed the cottage. You could not need more. The surroundings are beautiful. Sunrise and sunset were perfect. This was my third visit to Wood Farm I'm sure it won't be my last. Holt Christmas lights were fabulous. Thursford Christmas spectacular well worth the visit. Holkham hall was a nice drive with lots to see. The pigs pub at the end of the road served good food. "Iffits and planks" well worth trying.

Thanks Diana & Chris for the great stay we have had at Woodfarm. The lovely cottage is well equiped and has enough space for all of us. Especially the kids liked the playing area outdoors & indoors. For us Norfolk was a real surprise. The coast is magic, and the woodlands & farmlands a great enviremont for great walks. Thanks for all the suggestions you had for us. What a wonderful family holiday we had. Gorgeous accommodation and all accented by the wonderful spacious backdrop of the countryside. Excellent facilities. Cottage had nearly all mod cons. Except fans! Lol. Hottest week of the year, but otherwise lovely. Made use of the games room, cottages' selection of board games and outside play areas every day. Great Base to explore north Norfolk coast and attractions. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating to ensure our stay was everything we expected and more. Thank you.

Our 4th visit to Wood Farm but first time in Beech cottage. Brilliant space and everything we needed. The children loved the outdoor space especially the football and the zip wire. As a family with four children we holidayed together with my sister's family at Beech cottage for ten years from 2001. As the children approached their teens we had a break but returned this year for a trip down memory lane. The cottages enjoy a beautiful view of fields and countryside. The zip wire and games in the dark at night still proved to be just as entertaining!! Diana's family have become friends and we enjoyed a delicious birthday meal with them at the local pub The Pigs within walking distance of the cottages. We brought our dog along this time who was able to accompany us to all the local dog friendly beaches and shop!
Now suffering from post holiday blues we are planning to return in the spring.

Our second visit & we booked for 2017 the evening we returned - need I say more?!

With three energetic boys, this really is the perfect place for them to use up some energy, meet friends & have fun while parents relax.

Great location for lots of lovely trips: West Runton beach, Pensthorpe, Blickling, Dinosaur Land ... to name but a few.

I stayed with my husband,son,daughter-in-law and nearly one year old grandsons-and one older dog.We had a very good week at Beech Cottage.The cottage and location were excellently as described on the website.A great base for exploring North Norfolk.The weather was kind to us with only one rainy day- which was spent in a soft play area in North Walsham( ideal for our grandson).

It was absolutely fantastic to stay at Beech cottage! It was our first time but we will definitely go back again! Diana and Chris are amazing and they run the place fabulously! There was 6 of us (three adults three children) and the cottage was very comfortable and spacious!

We rented Beech, Chestnut and Ash Cottages for a family break over Christmas. The cottages are lovely and well equipped, especially in the kitchen areas. We particularly liked the larger living space in Ash, which was perfect for Christmas dinner, and the trampoline/outdoor play was ideal for keeping younger members of our party busy. The Pigs pub just down the road was also delightful. The indoor Pool/Darts room was a bit dilapidated, but otherwise the standard of repair throughout the farm was excellent.

Lovely cottage very well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor play area is great for children with the huge trampoline and flying fox particularly good fun. Everything is very well maintained and Diana is a really good host. It is in a really nice quiet location, an easy five minute drive to Holt and about fifteen minutes to the coast.

We were a family of 3 adults and 2 children. We all loved the cottage. Kids loved the playground especially the flying fox and trampoline. Cottage was comfortable, clean and cosy. Would highly recommend. Great location for exploring North Norfolk.

This was our first stay at Wood Farm. Beech Cottage surpassed our expectations,very clean, well furnished and fully equipped. We stayed with our two young boys. They loved having their own rooms as well as being able to play on the excellent play area and barn. There is loads to do in North Norfolk even when the sun doesn't shine and we had an excellent holiday. We will be definitely coming back!

A wonderful week in beautiful north Norfolk. Our first time in Beech Cottage, it provided plenty of space for our family of five. We felt very relaxed letting our children play out in the field as we could see them from the cottage. With all the great facilities for children, we couldn't have asked for more!

We have stayed in Beech Cottage many times and are now looking forward to our next visit!
Over the years we have had some problems due to the severe disability of one of our party, but Diana has always
helped us overcome them.
We were also one of the first guests to bring our house rabbit with us, which was agreed provided he stayed
in his cage.He was quite a novelty.

We thoroughly recommend the cottages - there are lots of games and equipment for all, but peace and quiet too.

All are well appointed, comfortable and clean so we know exactly what we will find at each return.
Although Beech is far larger than we actually need it has a superb outlook over fields an woods.

Perfect location for a base to explore Norfolk, very comfortable barn conversion giving all the comforts of home. Beech cottage sleeps upto six very comfortably with two twin rooms and a double with ensuite, albeit a tad on the cosy side but still adequate.
The shared bathroom makes up for any shortcomings.
Well equipped kitchen allows for easy self catering and not have to think about spending too much valuable holiday time washing up!
The biomass boilers provide most of the cottages at wood farm with lashings of hot water.
You'll always enjoy the peace and quiet at wood farm, should you just want to spend all day reading your favourite novel you can curl up on the sofa and relax!
With wifi included in the cost you can even keep in touch on social media sites telling all your friends about the plethora of wildlife on your doorstep.
Visit soon, you'll never regret it.

We have stayed at Wood Farm cottages before, but this is the first time in 'beech'.
As always we were made to feel welcome and Diana and Chris, were helpful and kind to all the family.
We have busy twin boys and there was plenty to do in and outside; football, climbing, swinging, trampoline, table football and tennis, games /toys in the cottage. They felt they knew the place and couldn't wait to see Chris and Diana again!
All the rooms were clean and had everything we needed!
We will be back!!
