We had a lovely stay in Oak Cottage. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. There was plenty for our toddler to do on site, he loved the play area and ride on tractors. This was our second visit to wood farm and we’ll be back again!

We had a lovely week
Superb location in the country but close enough to get to all north norfolk tourist attractions.
Accommodation was very clean and had all the equipment we needed.
Hosts Diane Chris and kerry were very welcoming and keen to share knowledge of the area so you can make the most of your holiday
Loved walking the fields to see the deer hares and other wildlife.
Would definitely stay again. 5 stars

Once again an enjoyable stay at Wood Farm - excellent location for exploring the villages and country roads in the area - hardly any traffic apartment from agricultural vehicles. Great gardens and historic houses to visit in the area as well, also some lovely pubs for lunches and dinners.

We had another great holiday at Woodfarm Cottages. The cottages are well maintained, clean and well equipped. The facilities and children’s play area are also excellent. Countryside location is peaceful but not too far from local attractions.

We have stayed at Wood Farm Cottages many times and we have never been disappointed with any aspect of our stay. Each cottage is well appointed, comfortable and well maintained with everything one could wish for to make a holiday complete. Diana, Chris and Kerry go out of their way to make sure that everything is in place for a perfect stay. I would recommend Wood Farm Cottages to anyone without reservation.

This was our second stay at Oak Cottage and it was every bit as good as the first. The cottage is great for families with two good size bedrooms (double and a twin). The kitchen and living space gave us loads of airy space to relax. And the outside play park and barn (with toy tractors) gave my two toddlers plenty of safe space to explore and play. They particularly loved the trampoline and springs. We also loved the drop in area and the games room.

We managed to book a very last minute break here and we're delighted that we could be accommodated. It is a great place to come with countryside galore, wildlife and not far from the beach or children's activities. There's lots of good suggestions in the map room.

We can't fault the stay, the only thing I would really suggest is to put the cupboard of board games in the games room (we found them towards the end of our stay in the laundry room), and some new pens for the drawing board - a huge hit for my children, especially when it was raining, but it was hard finding pens that worked.

This is our second time staying here and I am pretty sure we'll be back again!

Our second visit was just as lovely, the children have been excited about returning to Oak Cottage and we are glad we came back. The cottage was just as we remembered and the children have once again loved playing on the tractors, trampoline and zip wire! Meeting new friends from other cottages and swapping tales from the day gave the whole complex a 'village' feel. With the children older this time we walked down the road to the excellent pub at the end to celebrate a birthday. Would definitely recommend Wood Farm cottages to anyone who wishes to explore North Norfolk coast.

We love coming to Wood Farm cottages for the friendly welcome and attention from the hosts. We have stayed at Oak Cottage for many years. We enjoy the spacious accommodation with no stairs to climb. The lounge kitchen area could do with more lamps especially in the corner by the kitchen table. We used to enjoy wandering around the garden and play area and sitting on the various benches enjoying the evening sun and views. We are disappointed to find this year that they have all been removed. While the play areas are well equipped for young families some accommodation of the less energetic would be appreciated. We enjoy sitting in the private garden, however, in the late afternoon it is shaded by the nearby trees - perhaps some judicious pruning would help. Looking forward to returning to Oak Cottage next year.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The cottage was immaculate and we loved the space outside including play area and map room! Everything was perfect and we were so close to numerous other destinations such as Holt and Sheringham. We had a brilliant time!

We've holidayed in Oak cottage every year since our boys were toddlers. Now we have a 7 and 9 year old and they still love it! The cottage itself is really lovely, it's well decorated and has 2 spacious bedrooms. Beds are comfy and linen is cosy. There is plenty of storage. We love the shared space in the kitchen/diner/lounge as we can all be together. But, if you do need space, there's outdoors! Now our children are a little older they can whizz out to the play area as soon as they're ready, leaving us to finally be able to enjoy hot cups of tea!
The location is brilliant. We went for breakfast at The Pigs, popped to Holt several times and enjoyed days out in Holkham, Wells, Sandringham, Roar Dinosaur Adventure and West Runton. We used the map room to find local English Heritage properties, as we are members. Such a useful room!
We'll be back again next year!

Excellent location with some lovely places to visit all within 20 minutes.
Cosy, warm cottage that was very well equipped and lovely layout for small children.
The site is an excellent option for families, with play area and covered tractor area and sports barn.

We found Wood Farm to be an excellent site for our holiday in Norfolk. The farm was an attractive and well maintained site set in quiet beautiful countryside with plenty of activities for children. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. There was also an excellent Map Room on the farm with plenty of information for us to plan our travels around Norfolk. The site is reasonably close to the village within walking distance to an excellent pub and restaurant.

Our second visit to Wood Farm but we hope not the last. Wood Farm is in a great position , handy for most of the attractions of North Norfolk but enough inland to escape the crowds in summer. Lovely area for cycling but don't let anybody tell you Norfolk is flat! The cottages are all well maintained and are a real home from home with everything you could need and we will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was so easy from booking to throughout our holiday.
The accommodation was immaculate, so clean and spacious, a lot of care has gone into the cottages. The artwork on the walls is of local scenes and the kitchen is equipped very well.
The friendliness and feeling so welcome was so nice and I felt if I needed anything or advice on days out I could just ask.
The adventure playground is amazing! We liked the large trampoline, the zip wire and the tyre obstacle. My mum thought the tree house was relaxing.
The map room is very informative and child friendly too!
In the evenings we played pool, table tennis and table football. There is also a very good selection of board games in the laundry room.
We really enjoyed the holiday and felt so calm and relaxed, thankyou!

We have stayed at Wood Farm for the past four years. Put simply, it is about as good as it gets for self-catering families. The site is perfect for children (large well-kept grassy areas, excellent play area including a huge trampoline and zip-wire) and Diana and Chris are brilliant at sorting those little problems that crop up. This was the first time we have stayed in Oak. We loved the large bedrooms, single-floor layout and how immaculate everything is. The setting is idyllic and we like how after a busy day out at the coast, we can come back to Wood Farm for a rest. Our boys (aged 3,6) absolutely love it and it's become part of their childhood. I cannot recommend Wood Farm enough (we've stayed in Beech, Rowan and now Oak).

We've just enjoyed our third visit to Wood Farm and it was wonderful to be there again. The children have so much fun - all the equipment is top class and the open space is a real joy.
All of us feel better as soon as we arrive, and are grateful for the benefits the holiday has given us as we leave.

We stayed for a week in oak cottage and it was such a lovely cottage. Not only was it kitted out inside with a well stocked kitchen and anything you could really need, but there was a play area and games room which my kids just loved! It’s a great location to explore that area of Norfolk and Chris, Diane and Kerry are very knowledgeable. The map room is a brilliant idea! Well worth checking it out for ideas of places to visit. I would happily stay again!

We loved staying in Oak cottage which was clean, comfi and the shower was just superb. Kitchen was well equipped and the TV had a good choice of programs, including Disney +. Our 2+ year old daughter was over the moon playing in the playground, especially she loved the tree house, trampoline, sandpit and little tractors(couldn't get her out of there) . We managed to BBQ in our back garden as well. It's a very peaceful place, full of surrounding beautiful nature where we managed to spot different kind of birds, hare and even hedgehog. Chris and Diana were exceptionally lovely, knowledgeable and very helpful.
We'd love to come back.

The fact that this has been our third time at Wood Farm even though we must travel all the way from Germany says it all: Wood Farm is a real gem and offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. Our kids (8 + 11) love the play area and game room. Diana, Chris and Kerry are ever so friendly and helpful. They put a lot of effort into the digital guidebook and the Map Room and their tips are really inspiring. This kind of first-hand experience together with their love for the area was much appreciated and saved us a lot of valuable time we would have otherwise spent on finding out ourselves. We had unusually cold weather for June, so it was wonderful to come back to the warm and cosy cottage after spending time out and about. Oak Cottage is spacious and very comfortable for a family of four. We can wholeheartedly recommend Wood Farm Cottages!

Great week in lovely comfortable surroundings, the toddlers loved seeing the Sheep (Le Baa baas) every morning and evening, they loved the sandpit and tractors.

It was a great place to spend the week, we came with my parents, they had their own space but we got to spend time together. It was comfortable, tidy there is nothing they hadn’t thought of. The local knowledge was great and the Map room gave lots of great ideas.

We hope to go back soon.

An excellent holiday home in a peaceful location.
Chris and Diana constantly upgrade and refurbish the cottages and when you arrive everything in the cottage is sparkling clean.

This is the second time we have stayed at wood farm cottages and we love it. The cottages are great, well furnished and clean. There are some great restaurants/pubs near by and it's within 30 mins or so from some fantastic places to go with kids such as Roarr and Bewilderwood as well as some lovely beaches. I'm sure we will definitely be back again!

We had a wonderful time at Wood Farm Cottages. Having an infant normally means we have a car full to travel for a weekend away but not this time I could actually see out of the back window.

The location was great so much to see and do, the map room is brilliant such a fantastic idea. Showing a map of Norfolk and what’s happening in the area, you can see what other families have been up to during their stay (if they used the map room) so that you can get ideas from them as well.

The grounds were fantastic, a playing park for the children a zip line, swings and treehouse all to explore. Plenty of grounds to explore, we got to see the sheep who had just had twins the evening before we left.

The cottage was very comfortable, a brilliant toaster! The heating heated the cottage quickly and the kitchen was well equipped for all cooking needs. The bed we had was super comfortable. Great for small and large groups. A guide on how to use the TV remote was around which is great for those who don’t use many brands of TV.

They really have thought of everything you could need. We look forward to coming again!

We stayed in Oak Cottage, a cute two- bedroomed cottage, with lovely open plan main area and own private garden looking out onto fields and nature. Wonderfully quiet (they ask guests to observe a 10pm curfew on outside noise) and peaceful. It was a perfect location from which to explore the beautiful beaches, marshes and surrounding area. We didn’t cover it all in one week, so we shall return! Thank you Diana and Chris.

We've absolutely loved our stay at Wood Farm and will be definitely returning to Norfolk again soon. Oak cottage itself was beautiful and the private garden at the rear was perfect as it allowed our twins direct access to the playground area - they both loved spending time on the trampoline and zip line there!
Our hosts, Chris, Diana and Kerry couldn't have been lovelier or more helpful. The information app they provided the week before our trip and the Monday morning opportunity to meet with them in their cool map room were both super helpful in making the most out of our week away. Chris' knowledge about the Deep History Coast app and his willingness to share his love of fossils with our twins that morning meant we spent several days exploring the beautiful beaches and along the coast fossil hunting with the (free) app to guide us - and yes, we did find some fossils of our own and the West Runton mammoth which was really exciting!
There is so much to see and do in Norfolk and Wood Farm cottages are situated in a great position to access pretty much anywhere you want to visit - Sandringham, lots of National Trust properties and gardens, Bewilderwood and of course all the beaches! Would highly recommend Wood Farm to anyone wanting a perfect family holiday!

This was our second visit to wood farm cottages and we are definitely looking to return. Oak cottage was perfect for myself, my husband and our two and a half year old son.

It was nice to have the option of a pet free cottage as some of us have allergies.

Also a massive bonus is the play area which has been greatly improved since our stay last year. You could quite happily not leave the cottage site all day and have the kids entertained. Our son particularly enjoyed the huge trampoline and the ride on tractors.

The cottage has a really homely feel and was perfectly clean.

We have mainly seen Diana on both of our trips and she couldn't be more welcoming.

Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Oak cottage gave us everything we wanted and more. Beautifully equipped, cosy beds and a lovely position. Couldn't have found a better place to quietly celebrate a very special birthday especially with The Pigs just down the road for that extra special meal.

Absolutely beautiful cottage with a HUGE open plan living/dining area.
Comfortable sofas and additional bar stools.
Very well equipped kitchen with everything needed and more. Plentiful dishtowels, oven gloves and cleaning up materials.
Lovely comfortable beds with snowy white bed linen. Additional bedding if required.
Bookcase overflowing with books for all ages.
Plenty to occupy everyone both on and off site.

An amazing place for a family getaway. Home from home with very well equipped accommodation, and so many fun things for the children to do.

Diana, Chris and team do a fantastic job of ensuring that guests are made welcome throughout their entire stay, and put a lot of time into helping guests identify potentially interesting (and relevant) activities throughout the week.

We had a fantastic week at Wood Farm. Chris and Diana were brilliant and responsive hosts who made sure we had all the information and help we needed before we arrived. The cottage was lovely and spacious, while the play area was perfect for our two energetic boys. We received great advice from Chris on where to visit and Wood Farm was a fabulous base to explore North Norfolk. Cannot recommend enough!

I went here with the wife and 2 young kids. The accomodation was excellent really large rooms and a lovely large sitting kitchen area. Couldnt have suited our needs better and they even had black out blinds which stopped the kids waking too early. The farm has excellent facilities and my daughters loved using the play equipment each night before bed. I loved the location of the farm for exploring the local area and going on lots of dad runs around beautiful villages. Chris, Diana and the team were very friendly and provided really helpful local insights into sights, beaches and attractions both in person and with a virtual guidebook they provide. All in all excellent.

We had a nice stay here and it has everything you need. The owners were very friendly & helpful. The garden had lots of play areas for kids which was great. The house was clean & comfortable. We were unlucky with the weather & had some personal issues while we stayed which meant we couldn’t take full advantage of everything but that was no reflection on the property. The cottages are about 20-30 mins from most attractions but this is reflected in their pricing & there is lots to keep you occupied when your stay in. There was a Dinosaur park called Roar not far away that was fantastic - highly recommend even if it’s raining. The temple seal trip was very enjoyable too. We enjoyed the snug cafe in Holt. Overall we would recommend.

We had a great first family holiday at Wood Farm Cottages staying in Oak cottage with our 11 month old daughter. So much on offer to keep us entertained at the cottage and in the surrounding gardens. The baby swing, sheep and tractors were highlights for our daughter! And we loved the peaceful location and countryside views! The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to borrow a highchair for our stay as well. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you for a great holiday.

We love Wood Farm wish we had found it 20 years ago when our son was younger. So much for little people to do. Great location really easy to get to all the places we enjoy visiting. Oak cottage is perfect great size for us and very clean and comfortable. Di, Chris and their team do an amazing job, especially in these strange times. Always happy and friendly. We have stayed several times at Wood Farm and the second time in Oak Cottage.
The cottages are always very clean, but in these strange times even more effort has been made and it all felt extremely safe and well organised.
Diana and her team gave us our usual lovely welcome and are always on hand in you need anything.
Oak Cottage has all the facilities you need and is very cosy. The bed are extremely comfortable and it has a good Bathroom with a lovely power shower, which I believe are present in all the cottages.
Wood Farm is well located for the whole North Norfolk coast as well as trips over to the East. All are within an hour.
There are facilities for all on the Farm and if you're lucky plenty of birds and wildlife. We were lucky enough to see a few deer and several species of Bat.
As you can tell we are fans and will no doubt be returning for some Winter birdwatching if the current situation allows.

We have been returning to Woodfarm for quite a few years now but this year for obvious reasons the break was more vital than most.
As always Woodfarm delivered its calming influence for the week and Oak Cottage is very much a home from home with its fenced garden area making it feel ‘homely’.
The team at Woodfarm are always very helpful and friendly even under the enormous added pressure this year has brought us all. Diana, Chris and their team provided a seamless service which added to the stay being as relaxing as possible.
Our only problem being completely out of anyone’s control in that the local Budgen supermarket had burned down earlier this year which made getting supplies slightly more awkward, but Holt has a plethora of stores and there are many local pubs and restaurants which will very happy to welcome you. Must tries are The Hunworth Bell and of course The Piggs!
The latter being very handy for departure day breakfast as it’s at the junction of Plumstead Road.
Norfolk offers so much in its big sky countryside and Woodfarm is excellently placed to explore all there is on offer.
Explore places such as Holkham and Wells-Next-the-Sea then research how these coastal towns, along with the more inland town of Swaffham and villages of Cockley Cley and Castle Acre all became one TV town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oak Cottage and would highly recommend it, especially for people travelling with children. The location was great, so peaceful yet close to lots of pretty villages, beaches and attractions. The close proximity to The Pigs was nice, we we went twice, once for the street food festival and I went for a spa treatment.

Oak cottage was perfect for us - a family of three with a 5 year old son. The garden space out the back was lovely for sitting in with a pretty view across the fields. Our son LOVED the play area and the old tractor and it was great to have somewhere so safe for him to run around and have some independence in. Everything was very well organized and Diane was very friendly and helpful and made a lot of effort to make sure we were happy. The setting was quiet and peaceful, the accommodation had everything we needed. We would visit again the future and recommend it to our friends.

As always Woodfarm never fails to deliver no matter what time of year or weather.
Staying at our favourite Norfolk hide away Oak Cottage is the perfect place to have base camp.
Peaceful, dark nights to just immerse yourself into restful sleep and wild landscapes to explore by day.
All you can want facilities to give that home from home feeling and if you feel the need to exclude yourself from 21st century living, you won’t feel out of place by leaving your phone, computer or other device turned off and left in your suitcase.
Cooking in the cottage couldn’t be easier and local shops to provide you with all the necessities and if you’d rather totally relax the Pub is only a eight minute walk away.
(maybe a little longer to walk back if you’ve had a few bevvies!)
Your welcome when arriving at Woodfarm instantly qualifies the return trip, warm, friendly and with a ‘can do’ attitude to make sure your stay is all you need.
I couldn’t recommend Woodfarm highly enough...., plan your visit very soon!

My Wife and I spent a lovely long weekend at Oak Cottage after being recommended to Wood Farm by some very good friends.
Oak Cottage was warm, very clean and well equipped, with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay.
Holt is within 10 minutes and the coast 20 minutes by car and its fairly central to see most areas of North Norfolk.
The rooms were of a good size, with a very good shower and very comfortable bed. There was ample room for more people and we hope to return in the New Year with a Dad.
There appears to be lots of facilities for families and I would imagine a great place to stay in warmer days when these can be fully appreciated.
All in all I would certainly recommend Wood Farm for either a good Summer break with the Kids or a lovely cosy Winter break to enjoy all that North Norfolk has to offer.
Look forward to seeing you again soon.

This was our third stay in Oak cottage, we have been in the spring in previous years it was lovely to visit in the autumn. The cottage is very comfortable and was really clean. The heating was on when we arrived which was really appreciated. There is lots to do locally, especially if you are interested in wildlife, Holt is lovely for a wander about. Oak cottage is a real home from home exceptionally well equipped kitchen if you want to test your culinary skills with the local produce if not there is a decent pub within walking distance. For a cozy afternoon in, there is a bookcase full of books and a good selection of games as well a couple of jigsaw puzzles.

Really lovely holiday cottage with everything you could need - it's the give play area though that sets this place above any others we've ever stayed in. The only change I would make would be to add a line to the info folder for each cottage asking guests but to use blue tooth speakers outside their cottage - some guests were not in favour of maintaining the lovely peace and quiet of the Norfolk countryside!

We are so pleased that we chose to stay at Wood Farm. Oak was fantastic for us with a 2 year old and 3 month old. The cottage was extremely clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We were provided with a travel cot and bed guards and I even found a black out blind in the draw. The play area was great with lots to keep our toddler entertained. It really felt like a home from home, we will definitely stay again!

This visit is our 11th year returning to Woodfarm.
It is in the perfect location for our needs, close enough to the coast and easy access to vast amounts of countryside walks.
The complex of barn conversions has seen some refurbishments in the last few years to interior fittings and decoration which enhance the comfort of stay.
Yes, there is the odd cobweb here and there but spiders are fast workers in Norfolk!
The bed was too soft for my personal taste and offered little support but others would possibly like this.
Cooking facilities are very good in the cottage all mod cons as it were should you want to go fully self catering and local supermarkets offer a delivery service should you not want the hassle of bringing shopping with you. Additionally the area has a plethora of restaurants, pubs and coffee houses that all serve excellent food.
On site laundry room is also useful to lighten the burden of this chore once at home!
There is also now a Map Room with large scale ordinance survey map to help plan outings and walks which is very helpful.
As in most rural areas mobile phone signal is poor to non-existent on the site, we tested three suppliers O2, Vodafone and EE all of which could not connect with any reliable signal strength however Woodfarm does have excellent internet access via ADSL and offers a generous 25mb/s wifi connection in the cottage.
Certainly fast enough for booking ahead at venues to get discounted entry or checking weather situations for those long country walks.
Wildlife at Woodfarm is lively and also active at night so if you fancy some nocturnal ornithological expeditions this is perfect for you.

We would definitely recommend Wood Farm as a base for a holiday in Norfolk. Oak Cottage was very clean, spacious and well-equipped, spacious, with fast wi-fi. It has a little private garden at the back with a lovely view over the fields, and the children enjoyed the large play area. Wood Farm as a whole is ideally set up for family holidays, with a laundry room, games room, and a map and library room with lots of tips and ideas for exploring the area. The rural location was lovely and quiet, and both the North Norfolk coast and the Broads are easily accessible. The owners have also grassed a margin around the edges of two of their fields which made for a pleasant short evening stroll.

We were met by the owners and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was all we expected it to be and was the centre of a very enjoyable holiday. We had an absolutely fantastic time at Wood Farm in May! A family holiday where we booked three cottages, myself, my husband and two boys stayed in Oak and were so impressed with both the property - everything we could have wanted - and the facilities onsite. The play areas in particular were so popular with children from 9 to 2 and will keep them occupied for future visits in many years to come. From fish and chips in Sands restaurant in wells-next-the-sea to home cooked sautéed Swordfish with stir fry veg and pilau rice and cooked Veggie breakfasts in Horatios of Holt the whole weekend was a restful and relaxing break enhanced by good comfort in beautiful surroundings.
Already looking forward to our next visit.

It is impossible to give a complete review due to the unlikely situation of a breakdown in the heating system which meant that the cottage, which was quite a large space, became cold. As a result Diane transferred us to a smaller cottage which was easier to heat. In this context the response to the problem was excellent.

Woodfarm in Edgefield Norfolk has a marvellous complex of converted barn cottages. All are fitted out to a very high standard, the grounds and cleaning teams keep the site and cottages in an immaculate condition. While the location offers the guest the best possible base for exploring all that the county has.
Oak Cottage, in particular, has windows and fenced garden area which face west, so not only do you have the glorious Norfolk sunsets to enjoy while eating an evening meal, you also don’t have early morning sun disturbing your relaxing lie in.
Oak cottage’s open plan cooking and living space is wonderful for family get togethers as the chef and the ‘washer upers’of the family get to spend more time with everyone!
With thanks to the Biomass boiler system the cottage has lashings of hot water so the cottage is never cold, even in the depths of winter and the AquaLisa shower in the bathroom will make you spend just that little bit longer than usual under it.
You can expect a warm welcome from the owners and their staff on your arrival, no problem is insurmountable and your comfort and enjoyment are paramount.
There are onsite facilities to entertain including outdoor trampolines and a zip line or just take a stroll round the fields of sugar beet.
With laundry facilities also onsite there is little else to want.
Oak Cottage is very comfortable, well equipped and idyllic for a country holiday or break in beautiful Norfolk.

We visited Oak Cottage during a very cold February week, however the weather didn't put a dampener on a lovely stay. The cottage is very well equipped and exceptionally clean for a self catering cottage. The play area facility was fantastic for our toddler and Diane (the owner) could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back!

Me and the other half have stayed at Wood Farm Cottages on a number of occasions but always in Willow Cottage (love the log burner!). This time as there was 4 of us staying for the Christmas holidays we went for a larger cottage and we were not disappointed in any way.
The living areas was very spacious with a more than adequately equipped modern kitchen/dining area - we were able to cook a 5kg turkey with all the trimmings on Christmas day as if we were at home! The sitting area was very comfy with TV, DVD player and music system and for those who want/need it very efficient WiFi at no extra charge.
The master bedroom (double bed) was well appointed and had plenty of storage space as did the second bedroom (2 x single beds) which was a little larger than the master. The beds were comfortable and the linen beautifully clean. The bathroom was more than adequate for us 4 and the shower was lovely and hot with lots of pressure. One of our party has minor mobility problems but although Oak is not advertised as 'disabled friendly' there was more than adequate space around the furniture for them to walk about safely and even use the bath/shower with a little assistance getting in and out. As it was winter we gave the entertainments a miss in particular the zip wire but I bet they are great fun in the summer.
The room layouts had been very carefully thought out, the entire cottage was as clean as a new pin and oh so welcoming. The four of us had a wonderful stay and it won't be the last time we visit. Can thoroughly recommend this delightful little cottage, in fact the entire farm is beautiful.

We have been coming to Wood Farm every year for the last 25 years (sometimes twice per year). Speaks for itself really!

Well situated to explore North Norfolk and always clean, warm and comfortable. We are always made to feel welcome by Diana and her crew.

Lots of places to eat and visit within easy reach.

We stayed for a lovely week in June, the cottage and facilities are ideal for families and our young kids (3yos) loved the play area in the large garden (large trampoline, swings, slide and all they could ask for!) The cottages are modern, large and well-supplied with many useful extras. It is such a peaceful setting! We slept well in the comfy beds, an ideal retreat. The owner, Diana, is on site and very helpful. Great location, a short drive to Holt and the lovely north Norfolk coast, a perfect get away. The internet is a bit unreliable at times in that area. We came home relaxed and would certainly re-book again. Thank you Wood Farm Cottages!

The property was generally very well presented and equipped. The only significant issue was the lack of power sockets throughout - installation of double rather than single sockets would have been a sensible alternative.

This was our second stay in Oak cottage, and we had another great week! The cottage is very well-equipped, with good quality furnishings, extremely comfortable beds (we slept like logs!) and spacious rooms. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped, including a dishwasher, and there are laundry facilities right next to the cottage. There are games and play areas for children, with plenty of space to run around safely and burn off some energy! With an excellent pub/restaurant close by and easy access to tourist attractions, the seaside and the Norfolk Broads, this is an ideal location for a short break or a longer holiday.

A very charming set of converted cottages with all the facilities that you require to hand.
The pool table took us back to our youth as did playing on the zip wire plus trampoline. A great fun time but at the same time very relaxing & comfortable. well away from any traffic noise but in an ideal location to visit the coast.
We will return for hopefully a longer stay.

My husband and I normally like walking and bird watching. We usually try to book this cottage in February for a winter break and we are never disappointed.
The cottage is always kept up to date and has every amenity that you could require. It is always cleaned to a very high standard and is relaxing. We can still practice our Yoga in the lounge area as there is plenty of room.
It is very peaceful and we always sleep really well, so when our holiday is over we feel fully refreshed.
Obviously at this time of year the weather is still chilly but the cottage is lovely and warm and that is really nice when we have been out all day.
Love wood farm cottages and would recommend anyone to stay there at any time of year.

On arrival we were greeted by Diane, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were taken to our cottage. This was lovely it felt like home. The cottage was clean and tidy. Diane had gone to the trouble of putting two travel cots together for our twins which made things alot easier for us. The cottage had all the mod cons which with young children made our stay much easier. We have enjoyed staying here so much that we have booked to go again next year.

What a great place to stay. Lovely cottage, really well equipped and plenty of room. Ideally located for lots of days out and the boys (6 and 3) fell in love with the garden due to the play equipment - they were quite happy to amuse themselves round the farm which was perfectly safe and provided loads to do - meaning mummy and daddy loved it too!

the kitchen was very good. The dining table and chairs are very poor and years old. The dining cchairs are like sitting on bricks . The lounge furniture needs replacing aand no poufffes or footstool. The bed was a bit hard too,it needs a memory foam mattress topper. The cottage is quite private and has a lovely lawn area for everyone to use.some fo the crockery is well passed using date.There were flowers and herbs aplenty very pretty.

Dear Ken and Joyce, thank you for taking the time to review Oak Cottage. We agree that the sofas in Oak are ready for replacement, and in fact the sofas have already been ordered and will be arriving in the next 2 weeks. The pouffe was a great idea and Oak can now boast one. We have always felt that the cushions in the lounge are suitable to be used on the chairs if a guest feels it is needed, but will bear your suggestion in mind. We don’t have any plans to replace the dining chairs and tables as we feel that they suit the cottages well. We will consider memory foam when we need to replace the mattress toppers that we have on all our beds. Most importantly we thank you for visiting us so many times since 2001, your custom and opinions are appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay with our toddler, because everything we could need was already thought of and provided. The location is perfect for exploring Norfolk - from the north coast to the Broads. The play facilities, kitchen fittings, bathroom etc is all in beautiful condition. We'll be back!
