We stayed in apartment 293 in Clifden for two nights. When we first arrived in Clifden there is a Love Connemara office on the Main Street so we pulled over and parked and went in to their office to inquire about possibly checking in a couple hours earlier. The woman working at this office was a little rude and not very helpful. We then contacted a person via WhatsApp who did respond and allow us in an hour early. The apartment looks nice and does have a washer and dryer. There is no air conditioning and so we had the windows open for a nice breeze. The windows to the bedrooms however open up to a staircase where it was noisy with people walking up and down and also they could see right into the bedrooms which was awkward, especiallyat night. There was only one bathroom and for 3 people in 2 bedrooms we would have appreciated a 2nd bathroom. Although it is a nice apartment, the price is high for what you are actually getting. We were traveling with our elderly friend and also there are about 20 stairs up to this apartment. Finally, we read the rules and check out instructions that were provided inside the apartment which did not give any specific instructions for garbage. I then received a message via WhatsApp at almost 11:00 p.m. at night telling us we had to bring the garbage out when we checked out. So at 5:00 a.m. in the dark we were in the alley looking for the locked door to find the area where we were supposed to bring the trash. Again, for as much as this apartment cost, we didn't expect this.

Large, clean and stylish apartment.
On the main street in Clifton and very handy for bars/restaurants/shops etc.
Good base for attractions round and about.
The only thing we didn't like was the fact you are overlooked from each apartment window ! We kept the blinds down for most of our stay. That's a compromise for being in a town apartment.

Fab apartment in a great location, right in the heart of Clifden. Spacious, spotless and comfortable. As a holiday let, it worked out very well for our family of four. Only thing to take into account is that the view out of all windows is onto other properties or concrete walls but the living area does get lovely light in. There isn’t any privacy in bedrooms as others could walk by close to the window, however, we only saw one or two people in our 3 night stay. It didn’t bother us because we were out all day and just pulled down bedroom blinds in evening. The location and comfort of the apartment more than make up for the lack of a nice view. There is access to a roof terrace if needed.
