4 bedrooms, sleeps 6. A spacious semi-detached cottage located in Clifden and within a 10-minute walk of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. This is a wonderful cottage for families and groups of friends. Well equipped. Short breaks available all year round.

We recently travelled to Clifden for a 3 night stay. House was large, comfortable and warm. Beds were comfy. Location was good just on the outskirts of town. However we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the cottage. There were large cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. The blinds in the bedroom upstairs would not work and the safety chains were not attached to the wall which could be a choking hazard for young kids. The Belfast sink in the kitchen had a large crack and the tap was so loose we were waiting for that to break too. There is no cutlery drawer, just a tray sitting in a cupboard. The bathroom downstairs had a bath but no plug so you couldn’t keep the water in. The internet service to the tv kept glitching and losing connection every few minutes. The fire alarm went off Sunday morning. Next door had burnt the breakfast! Rang host and he informed us what had happened and he got it turned off. There was no follow up text or phone call to check in on us or to apologise for the disturbance. We often to stay in air b and b’s so are used to self catering however for the price paid we certainly didn’t feel it was value for money this time.

The Belfast sink has a fissure which does affect its functionality and we have notified the maintenance team of the missing sink plug and loose tap, thank you for notifying us of same. The safety chains are been checked and we have spoken to the changeover team regarding cobwebs in corner of the room, that they may have missed. We apologise the smoke alarm went off, it was unfortunately a disturbance and dealt with swiftly. We are pleased that you found the house, comfortable, warm and in a great location. Excellent property, very well presented.
Recommendation:
- instructions know to turn up heating as it was a cold wet weekend
- upstairs shower wet the floor and not a wet room. Extractor advised and cloth to dry floor.

This is a very well presented cottage close to town. Just a 2 minute drive or a ten minute walk to shops. A lot of attention has been given to the inside to ensure comfort and the outside gardens are beautifully maintained. The back yard has a nice space to sit and enjoy coffee or dinner outdoors. We plan on rebooking again very soon.

Perfect location just a short stroll to clifden town. We had a lovely stay and will certainly return to his property again. Great communication from the agents and property contact. Highly recommend the property to anyone considering a comfortable stay close to all amenities while still offering peace and tranquility surrounded by wonderful mature landscaped gardens.
