This pretty cottage is close to the river and has mature scots pines in the wild part of the garden and wildlife abounds. A wood stove in the original stone fireplace and central heating makes for a very cosy home from home. Lovely walks along the river to the falls and beyond. Can be combined with East Lodge, nearby, for a larger party. The cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and is ideal for a couple as well as it is secluded and quiet. There is a small part of the garden enclosed for dogs and small children otherwise the garden is unenclosed and wild. Fishing for trout in season is available free on the river.

We had a wonderful break at Tuim Cottage. Perfect location, lots of wildlife, great views and a lovely little walk right outside the door. There were some really nice personal touches by the owners and the cottage had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was brilliant for the dog. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Cottage is in a very peaceful location with a walk directly to the river. It is very nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. It is quite a distance to the shops so make sure you take all the food/drink you might need when you get there. I would definitely book this cottage or one of the other cottages on the estate again.

We have been staying in Dunalastair since 2007 and enjoyed 4 of the cottages on offer on the estate, however, Tuim is by far our favourite. It has wonderful views but it also sits above the river which is a great place to take the dog for a morning walk. It is fairly remote which means a 17 mile drive to Pitlochry but this has never been an issue for us as the drive is spectacular along the Loch.
The cottage is simply fitted but comfortable with a good size kitchen, again with great views to the garden where it is visited by a huge variety of birds every day. Occasionally by red squirrel and deer.
The only suggestion I would like to make is fitting an EV charger as we had to hire a car for the trip as it was going to be too tricky to manage an electric car without one at the cottage.
Great area for fishing and walking, although not out of the front door as it is on the main road through the estate.
We love the whole area and will be back again soon. Thanks to everyone at the estate for making our 12 stay? A good one.

Lovely to hear that you enjoyed your 12th stay with us. Good to hear the wildlife made an appearance for you. The fishing you are able to walk to the riverbank which is a short walk away from the cottage, however for the boat fishing on Dunalastair Water you do have drive to Lochgarry to pick up a boat. EV chargers I don't think are on the cards at the moment, there are four public chargers in Kinloch Rannoch, one of which is a Fast Charger.

We would happily return

Many positives: a comfortable cottage, homely in good way, with lovely views. The conservatory a nice bonus. No real road noise despite the proximity. Comfortable chairs etc. Good parking.
Some negatives: mattress of single bed by window on a lean and had to be propped up with towels to stop rolling problem; TV channels limited, possibly because of location. As walkers, we were disappointed in the lack of maps or diagrams for walking on the estate. (Yes, we had an OS map but that wasn't helpful for local walk advice or where to park.)
Some bird seed left to top up the feeders would have been good; luckily I was going in to Pitlochry so bought some. (Birds were prolific.)
Overall, we would happily return but felt the cottage was a bit overpriced compared with similar ones.

Happy to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay in Tuim Cottage. We do provide a list of walks in the information folder although diagrams aren't included. It seems that the BBC channels not particularly good at Tuim, this could be down to wind blowing the trees around the cottage and the signal to the satellite is disrupted. All the other channels work and the TV is a smart TV and if you have a BBC account the channels can be watched live via BBC iPlayer. We fill up the bird feeders on the day of arrival for guests but don't leave a supply.

The cottage was very cosy and well equipped. The conservatory was a fantastic spot to sit and watch birds in the rear garden. We even spotted a roe deer and a pine marten just the other side of the fence. The cottage was a good location to get to many walks around Pitlochry but we didn't realise it was a half hour drive away down some very narrow lanes.
Our only small gripe was that the bathroom could have been cleaner on our arrival. The sink looked like it had been given only a cursory wipe. However there was cleaning gear in the cottage and it was soon remedied.
Overall we had a great week here.

We had a lovely weeks stay in Tuim cottage. The cottage is in a lovely location surrounded by woodland which is rich with wildlife. If you're lucky you'll have a visit from the Pine marten. You can walk from the door down to the river through the woodland to fish and there is a lovely walk along the river bank.
The cottage is well equipped and has loads of information about the area and places to visit.
It's in a great location for exploring the beautiful area with distilleries and historical sites close by.
We'll definitely return and would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay in Tuim Cottage. It was very comfortable, with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The back garden was secure and they welcome dogs. Added bonuses: fishing on the River Tummel came with the cottage and we had visitors to the garden such as pine Martins, squirrels and a woodpecker.
Had a great time walking the surrounding area and would love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great position for exploring the local area, and further, as only 20 minutes from A9. A very peaceful and comfortable cottage. Lovely welcome pack to enable us to have a cup of tea after our 12 hour journey, and a phone call to check we were ok! Saw lots of wildlife and had some lovely walks around the estate. A walk to the ruins of the big house and chieftains burial place is thoroughly recommended! Would definately visit again.

We stayed at this cottage in 2017 and were very impressed by location, comfort and surrounding nature. This year again we were not disappointed. The local wildlife and birds in garden kept us fascinated for hours and the log burning stove inside the cottage kept us warm and cosy. Dog friendly and secure enclosed garden.

Very comfortable, very warm, plentiful supply of wood.
Fabulous location, isolated but still easy to find, not too remote for days out.
Fantastic for wildlife in the garden , bring plenty of bird and squirrel food. The pine marten visited us in the dark, but was still relatively easy to spot due to the motion sensor external lights.
If you want to stargaze the night time view from the rear garden gave me one of the clearest views I've ever had of the milky way.

Tuim Cottage was a lovely home- away- from- home for our holiday in Scotland. It was rural enough that you felt you were getting away from it all, while central enough to easily do day trips to all corners of Scotland. The cottage was well appointed with a fully supplied kitchen and all cookware you could want. Washer and dryer were handy after days trekking in the wilds of Scotland. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A wonderful stay in a comfy cottage in an amazing setting. Conservatory and outside seating thoughtfully arranged to maximise the sunshine and views. Bring food for the birds, they are very greedy but provide a great show. It was hard to leave!

Suggest bringing drinks in cans as glass disposal can be a problem, there is no public bottle bank between Rannock Station and the A9 and glass is understandably not collected by the Council as part of domestic recycling. A bottle bank at Kinlock Rannoch should be provided.

Bathroom at Tuim needs updating. Also pots and pans.... non stick frying pan urgently needed. Steaks instantly weld to the pan don't even mention a fried egg. Maybe why the pans are quite so bad...they have been scraped so violently by anyone who has used them

We will see what we can do with the bathroom over the next winter period when we are quieter. I had a look at the pans and they are all stainless steel so don't get scraped. One of the current frying pans is a Scoville, which I myself have one at home and have no issues with it. We will look at putting another in.

We enjoyed four nights at Tuim Cottage - it's in a lovely spot, half an hour from Pitlochry and with lots of woodland surrounding, so plenty of walks nearby. The cottage itself was cosy and comfortable, with a woodburning stove to keep us warm when it got a bit nippy outside
Communication with the team at the Dunalistair Estate was great too.

Tuim cottage, with its superb location and off road elevated position, is a fine example of the owners understanding exactly what us get away from it all holiday makers seek. The cottage has ample supplies of every thing from cutlery, plates and pots to toilet rolls. Its clean, fresh and extremely well kept and in lovely decorative order.
For wild life enthusiasts you can sit back in the sun room and enjoy the amazing comings and goings of a wide variety of wild life. On the feeders there are woodpeckers, siskins, chaffinches, and a vast amount of blue, great and coal tits. Three red squirrels and a family of pine martens are regular garden visitors. At the end of the garden there is the river Tummel with all its benefits of wild life and fishing (permit included)
We have stayed in many a cottage over the years but Tuim was.......Simply the best

Tuim Cottage is a beautiful holiday home that has been modernised for todays needs but still has characteristics of the old workers cottage on the estate, stone fireplace with log burner, sash windows, etc. The cottage contained everything you could possibly need for your stay. A lot of thought has gone into making your stay as stress free as possible. The views are spectacular regardless of the weather. Standing in the garden and all that could be heard is bird song and the sound of water flowing over nearby rapids. The local birdlife were a constant to the bird feeder in the garden and with the comfy chairs in the conservatory, it was ideal to sit and watch them with the mountain range in the background beyond.

We were very pleased with Tuim cottage. It was well equipped and comfortable.
The double bed however was too hard for me and I had to use a duvet from the spare bed doubled up under me.
We enjoyed all the wild life; deer, pine martens and a huge variety of birds. Wonderful views of the mountains.
A walk-in shower would be a huge improvement !
Having the Tummel River just five minutes walk through the woods in the garden was such a joy.
A fabulous place.

Thank you for your review or your recent stay with us in Tuim Cottage. Happy to hear that you enjoyed the cottage although the mattress was not to your liking. It has recently been changed and is quite new as many people were unhappy with the previous one. I note your comment regarding a shower as opposed to a bath with shower over, although many people still like to have the option. Great to hear the wildlife did not disappoint and put a show on for you.

Avery pleasant stay.

This is a very comfortable cottage set in a copse of trees with lovely views over, at this time, a snow capped mountain. I particularly enjoyed observing all of the wild life and the conservatory was great for morning coffee. A great addition to the property. We were lucky to have great weather for the time of year and enjoyed the walks along the riverside at the bottom of the slope.

Had another great stay at a Dunalastair cottage. Comfortable cottage ,very warm and cosy. The added touch of a hamper for Christmas was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The cottage is in a great location with plenty of wildlife to see and good country walks. We had an issue with the heating which was resolved quickly and satisfactorily there is always someone to help a phone call away.
Would recommend for a lazy week away or a great place to stay to visit the surrounding countryside .

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was great and perfectly suited our needs, and the dog’s. Plenty of space, fully equipped for self-catering and having an enclosed garden made it safe for the dog. Being situated within 50yards of the river, with your own path down was great with views of the mountains and Schiehallion from the kitchen - awesome. Only niggle was the majority of the crockery and glassware being situated in another room to the kitchen.
Would definitely return.

We booked to stay for a week at Tuim Cottage, as we were looking for somewhere away from the stresses, strains, hustle and bustle of everyday life, and we were fortunate enough to find availability here at the end of July. We were travelling as a family of 4 with 2 enthusiastic hounds in tow. We couldn't really praise Tuim Cottage highly enough - it was clean, tidy, practical, well-equipped, and had a warm cosy feel to it, The cottage is in a wonderful location with an enclosed garden for sitting out (and for keeping the dogs safe), and although the cottage is positioned by a road, it is a quiet road and didn't cause us any disturbance. All of us commented on how relaxing we found the house, and watching the wildlife feeding from the bird feeders and squirrel box was a delight - we saw countless species of birds, a red squirrel and a pine marten in and around the garden during our stay. Even just sitting in the little sun room with a coffee (or something a little stronger!) watching the birds or admiring the scenery brought a wonderful sense of calm.

During our week, we visited Kinloch Rannoch, The Queen's View, Killiecrankie/Pitlochry, Cluny House Gardens, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, and The Hermitage/Dunkeld, On the one wet day we had, we headed up to Rannoch Station and took a return train journey to Mallaig, passing over the spectacular Rannoch Moor and Glenfinnan Viaduct on our way. The tearoom at Rannoch Station is apparently wonderful, but unfortunately on the day we were there they were so busy that they couldn't offer a takeaway service.

For those who love a good drive along winding country roads, I highly recommend taking the Schiehallion Road from Kinloch Rannoch over to the Aberfeldy road - lots of twists and turns, and we encountered many wild roaming sheep and deer on our evening jaunts. We also came across a herd of wild stags grazing in the fields in Kinloch Rannoch, who are apparently frequent visitors to the village. We actually spent more time out and about than we'd originally planned to, but it was still very relaxing, as all the places we visited were so enjoyable and picturesque (plus the dogs loved all their woodland walks!).

Two things I would note to other visitors - although there is a riverside walk by Tuim Cottage and East Lodge, it's not possible to walk by the river all the way to the main Dunalastair Estate and House without having to walk on the road, but as I said, the road isn't that busy. Also, if you're planning on 'holing up' for the week and arrange a food delivery, we found the half-and-half fridge/freezer a little tight for space to fit all our chilled food/drinks in (especially during the wonderfully warm weather we had while we were there).

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our week here, and found it to be just the perfect relaxing tonic that we were hoping for. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we're already looking to book again for a future stay! It was wonderfully lucky find, and we'll certainly be recommending Tuim Cottage (and the other cottages on the estate) to friends and family.

Lovely to hear you had an enjoyable stay in Tuim here on Dunalastair. You certainly packed a lot in to just the one week. The stags in Rannoch are fairly well known even managing to pop up on Your Pictures of Scotland on the BBC website.Nice to hear too that the wildlife around the property put in an appearance for you. Looking forward to seeing you on a return visit.

For us wildlife watchers and painters this was the perfect spot. There is a big wild area surrounded by trees at the back leading towards the distant murmering river plus an enclosed garden with picnic bench. A conservatory looks on to these and there is also a sitooterie with bench out the front. The bird feeder right outside the kitchen window provided constant birdlife and red squirrel visits. However these were so tame that you had to watch out for them coming into the conservatory and several birds had to be rescued and removed, including a blue tit fledgling that appeared to have spent all night in the kitchen. We were also very lucky to have nightly visits from a pine marten family searching for loose peanuts. You need these stocks
of bird food, peanuts and Smidge midge repellant, all available at Kinloch Rannoch stores. For some of the other less welcome but expected wildlife there is a tick remover in the drawer. Bring some insect bite cream and hats.
My sister (who cooks) thought it was a good selection of kitchen utensils with enough pans to separate vegetarian from non vegetarian cooking. And a washing bowl and washing up brush.
Although on the 'main' B road it was not busy. The chimneys of East Lodge can be seen in the distance but again not near enough for any problem. A car is advisable as it is a long way to the shops but a bus goes by several times a day so you could get out on that. Lots of room for off road parking . Front Steps up are steep but less steps at the rear (usefully as one of our party was on 2 walking sticks after an accident). We had good weather but rain would not have mattered. There are other walks, hills to climb, places to visit but we spent most time relaxing in the peaceful garden.

Great for scenery and wildlife.
Good location to reach many beautiful and interesting places.
The Cottage itself is getting a little tired and could do with an up-grade.
Having said that we would stay there again just to watch the antics of the Pine Marten(s).

This cottage was perfect for our needs, being dog friendly, and having WiFi, wood burner, dishwasher, etc.

It was in a great location, with views of the mountains, surrounded by trees, and about 50 yards from the River Tummell. There was a fantastic amount of birds in the garden, including a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers. A pair of Red Squirrels also visited regularly.

The perfect holiday! Tuim cottage is in a dreamy location, very lucky to see a pine martin and tawny owl in the garden on our first night, wow. Many birds on the feeders including tree creepers, nut hatch and spotted wood peckers and cheeky red squirrels. The walking is fantastic and relaxing by the wood burner every night was a bonus, a deer made an appearance in the garden on our last night...did not want leave and return back to the realities of normal life. Absolutely perfect.

Tuim cottage met our expectations - it was super clean, had all the right equipment and was warm and cosy with the fire set for easy lighting. The space was just right too with the little sunroom providing a little brightness. The enclosed garden was very helpful for keeping our dogs in and such an idyllic walk to the river nearby. Located also for good access to Rannoch woods and moor and loch as well as Schiehallion.

What can I say apart from what a truly stunning place to visit !
Rolling mountains misty lochs snowy trails & an abundance of wildlife !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left wishing we had booked for longer !
Tuim cottage supplies everything you need it’s cosy and inviting from the moment you arrive closely followed by the owner Beatrice popping in to say hello and make sure your happy.
Lovely little note books have been kept so you can follow what animals you might see with tips on how to find them !
If I had a pen I would have added our sightings as my two boys chose bird spotting over their tablets which is a huge thing !
To top off our trip we had fresh snow ⛄️
Truly a wonderful family break !

Thank you Dunalastair Estates
Keep up your fab work as we will be back !!

We had a lovely relaxing time at Tuim Cottage, the garden was perfect for our young dog who loved the woods and walks along the river bank.

Had a wonderful stay here at Tuim cottage, the scenery is stunning with so much wildlife around. in the garden there was a daily visits from red squirrel, nightly visits from pine marten and the occasional roe dear in the woods. countless different birds on the feeders including a 'resident' woodpecker.

Lots of walks nearby, my favourite being the Black woods of Rannoch with its ancient Caledonian pine trees.

Just returned from a fabulous Christmas week at this cottage in December 2018, it exceeded all our expectations and we had a lovely relaxing family holiday. We chose this cottage as had stayed here in 2007 and knew the location plus the cottage is great for dogs. The cottage has been updated since our last stay but still retained its charm. The location is perfect if you want a peaceful break but close enough to civilisation as long as you have a car. As a family of 3 including a teenager plus the dog it was perfect for our requirements, the kitchen is really well equipped with everything you would expect at home (we were able to cook a lovely Christmas Dinner). We were greeted shortly after arrival by the property manager which was nice as she made sure we had everything we needed. The logs we had ordered were waiting for us and the fire made up ready to light. Also as it was Christmas we had a tree and a hamper waiting for us with excellent local produce. The garden is secure for dogs plus there are lots of walks around the cottage so the dog also had a great time. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years but the Dunalistair estate is one of the best, it’s a premium experience in a fantastic location and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you, we had a lovely Christmas and will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities we could have wanted, perfectly located and easily reached. The hospitality was wonderful, even though we never had a chance to meet our hostess; she did drop by twice, but we were out both times. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do during an all-too-short stay (our first) in Scotland. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay with you, even the weather was ok.
The cottage was warm and cosy and we enjoyed the little flowers left on the table. Thank you for updating the towels we commented on last year they were great. The only slight adverse comment is that the sofa and chairs are starting to feel a little firm to the seat, they might need new cushions.
The kitchen is always well equipped and has the most beautiful view of Schiehallion although the trees are now hiding the peak when it is clear.
We have not visited in the early autumn before but the estate and river are wonderful with all the colours.
Thank you again and see you soon.

Sue

A perfect location for exploring the Tummel and Rannoch areas. A very cosy cottage with excellent fixtures and fittings and a beautiful setting. Red squirrels and a multitude of birds visited the bird feeders and the view across the glen to Schiehallion inspired us to ‘bag’ it! We will definitely visit again to do all the things we couldn’t fit in this time.

The cottage is well-equipped, charming and is perfectly situated within an area of woodland. There are many walks to be had within a short distance of the cottage and a multitude of visitor attractions a short drive away (e.g. Bruar falls and retail area), if you want to venture away a little. Given the charm of the cottage and the area, we ventured very little and found much interest in the wildlife occurring just in the garden. We had fantastic views of Red Squirrel from the conservatory and were informed by the guest book that Pine Marten even visited nocturnally. We weren't that fortunate!

All in all, a perfect stay.

Thank you to those at Dunalastair for a perfect stay.

Thank you for your lovely review of your recent visit to Tuim Cottage. The conservatory there provides the perfect viewing point for the squirrels and birds coming to the feeders, and they are not shy. I am happy to hear you enjoyed it.

Generally OK for a holiday let usage but some fixtures and fittings were basic or past sell by date.

Bath enamel had a number of chips.
Boiler programmer turned on central heating when the programmer screen was set to off.
Sudden metal expansion noise from boiler or adjacent radiator like it had been hit with a lump hammer.
Plastic pull cords on two of the blinds failed.
The two single beds had loose frame fixings so were noisy when turning over during the night. Fixed promptly when reported.
No main oven light so difficult to use. Ate out more.
Bathroom window had the start of black mold inside at the edges.

However
Good secluded location in beautiful countryside.
Nice river walk.
The included use of the rowing boat on Dunalastair Water was enjoyable.
Regular visits to the garden bird feeders by two red squirrels, pied woodpecker, Jay and the usual garden birds was a bonus.
We enjoyed our holiday.

I am glad that in spite of these problems you enjoyed your holiday.

Lovely peaceful little cottage we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Best part was sitting in the conservatory watching the wildlife we had a visit from 4 deer the first morning then lots of daily visits from red squirrels jays woodpeckers and various other birds. Loved the log burner on a nighttime too. Kitchen was well equipped. No problems with WiFi or mobile signal we were on O2

From the moment we entered this delightful cosy cottage it felt home from home, so well equipped and clean. The conservatory was a bonus with many hours spent watching the wildlife. Could not fault, handy for fishing from cottage 5 minute walk through lovely woodland to the River Tummel where 3 trout were caught! The décor was exceptional, it looked as if it had just been decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were beautiful, just what you need to relax and unwind, will definitely be back to Tuim Cottage, it is on top of our list, we didn't want to go home.

We all enjoyed staying in the cottage, so much so that we ended up having an extra night there. Lovely cottage, big living room and dining area. More than adequate kitchen with everything that we needed. Bedrooms were fine and a large bathroom with a great shower. We know the area well so knew that location would be fine, which it was.

We bought bird seed and peanuts and managed to get various bird life visiting as well as a red squirrel.

Great Cottage and look forward to staying again in the future!

Thank you for your review of your recent stay in Tuim Cottage. After a busy season we are about to wind down and over the quieter winter months we do schedule a programme of maintenance, decorating and freshening up of all the cottages ready for next year. Unfortunately during your stay the boiler broke down, however we did get an engineer as soon as we could and supplied you with portable heaters to bridge the slight gap, and the hot water was unaffected by this.

We loved our stay at Tuim Cottage for a week and fell in love with it. It's a very comfortable house at a lovely place looking out on Schiehallion mountain. A good base for visiting several touristic attractions e.g. castles (Blair, Menzies), places like Pitlochry & Aberfeldy, walking in de High Mountains, distilleries, touring (do drive along the borders of the lochs! It's beautiful), spotting wildlife and so on. We had lack of time for all the possibilities. We have to come back. Tuim Cottage is very well equipped for self-catering, but eating out is also no problem.

Pine martens, red squirrels & roe deer in the garden . . . trout out of the Queen's Pool . . . wonderful walks around the estate grounds . . . that view of Schiehallion out of the kitchen window . . . there really is no better location for a holiday. And ideal for dog owners (although don't overlook the spot-on treatment for ticks). Too chilly to swim in the river this year but we did all our favourite things plus a few more. And there's plenty of unexplored territory for next time.

Tuim cottage was everything we expected and more. We were husband, wife and mother along with our 2 labs Holly and Hanna. We stayed a week and it was fabulous. The accommodation was very good and excellent facilities from the kitchen facilities through to the log burner stove. The surrounding area was perfect- a nice sized enclosed garden and then the unfenced wilder surroundings but still save to allow the dogs out on their own - they loved sitting in the wild garden in the early morning sun. good walk for them here and also we went out in the afternoons in the car to other local walks. Weather was very kind to us and we had a week of sunshine. We don't usually stay in the same place twice but we have already reserved for next year.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of Feb/beginning of March. A lovely cottage in a fantastic location with no surrounding properties, so it is very peaceful and private. East lodge is fairly close by but even if it was occupied (which it wasn't during our stay) I don't think it would affect you in Tuim. Although the cottage is next to the road, it is quiet with little traffic. The back garden is fully enclosed, so safe for dogs (and children). A very useful sensor light was also appreciated when letting the dog out last thing at night. Its little things like this and other nice touches that I think make all the difference. This cottage has everything you might need provided and bedding and towels are new and good quality. Even the carpets looked as if they had been recently replaced. As we were out during the day and the evenings were still dark, we mostly used the conservatory as a handy storage area for muddy boots, wet jackets, dog towels etc. but it and the garden were lovely and sunny and ideal for sitting out, once the weather warms up a little. We drove past some of the other cottages while we were there, all of which looked to be somewhere we would like to stay and definitely plan to return at some point in the not too distant future. The only reason I have scored value for money as good, is because I have stayed in other cottages of the same high standard which have been cheaper, so its simply a direct comparison with previous experiences. Overall I would thoroughly recommend Tuim cottage and can't think of any negative issues or suggest any points for improvement.

We had an extended weekend here in late March 2017. The cottage was very comfortable - especially the beds. Ideal after a long days walking. Having said that, on the Sunday we lazed by the river on a rock, in the sunshine. The cottage is some 18 miles from Pitlochry, with easy access to the Eastern side of Rannoch Moor. The scenery is stunning and the walking fabulous. Sadly, the day we set off for Rannoch Station to take the train to Culloch and walk back to the station the railway wasn't running; giving us a perfect excuse to return. My wife spent the Tuesday of our return working out when we will return to the Dunalastair Estate.
