The Laundry at Ty Mawr, was very tranquil and peaceful, just the tonic to recharge those batteries. The property was old but had a all modern appliances and tastefully decorated. The exposed beams and slate flooring gave the property plenty of character whilst the underfloor heating gave it warmth. The fresh flowers were beautiful and well presented. Local places to eat were excellent, especially Sunday Lunch @ The Three Horseshoes Inn. We enjoyed a 4 night break in this very comfortable and extremely well located cottage in the Brecon Beacons. The bright blue sky and wall to wall sunshine, in Mid September, helped. The cottage, one of five, is very well equiped and beautifully decorated. The host, Peter, was there to greet us on arrival and was very helpful throughout. Indeed, his tips on places to eat were spot on, the food was excellent. The Brecon Canal and access to many other walks was just a short distance from the cottage door, just what we wanted. We will definately be back, next time for a longer stay.
We loved our stay at The Dairy, the cottage was comfortable, supremely well equipped and clean. Most of all there was a warm welcome from the owners Peter and Alexandra, it was a pleasure chatting to them and learning the history of the estate. The dog paddock was great, especially sitting up by the stream passing the time. We cant wait to return to this 5* accommodation.
Really well equipped cottage had everything needed for a relaxing holiday. From really sharp kitchen knives to luxury bedding this property was a pleasure to return to each day. Easy walks direct from the door, and several nice towns to explore within a half hour drive we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy to use EV charger, which was our first criteria when searching for somewhere to stay.
The Cottage is like a meal fit for the King! Beautifully presented and filled with the finest ingredients. We couldn’t fault the cottage or the location. The host, Peter was very welcoming We do intend to return.
