Monnington House and Garden Cottage sleep 18 in 9 very comfortable bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. There is a ground floor bedroom in Garden Cottage with M1 status. The Cider Mill is a short walk across the paddock and 3 en suite bedrooms. The Cider Mill is all on one level.
All 12 bedrooms have hypnos superking beds (zip and link) and fine 400 count egyptian linen. We take the quality of sleep of our guests seriously!
The kitchen is geared up for numbers and catering. During the winter months there is an aga plus there are 2 electric ovens, 2 dishwashers and numerous fridge freezers. There is plenty of glassware and crockery for 24. The dining table seats 24.
There is walking from the door plus great cycling routes. Many guests enjoy canoeing and kayaking on the Wye. Fishing for salmon or coarse fishing can be arranged. A local caterer works in the house often and is reasonably priced. We do encourage you to make inquiries. Visits to Hay on Wye and Hereford and Presteigne which is just a little further a field are interesting. Young and old enjoy the Small Breeds Farm at Kington and the Mappa Mundi in Hereford Cathedral is enlightening.
