Our stay was comfortable and the cottage was clean and conveniently located but sheets and towels needed to be changed once in a week for longer stays. Help with door lock was appreciated.

Elms cottage is a spacious bungalow with three good sized bedrooms, large living and kitchen areas. The garden is very pretty and comfortable. This property is on a residential estate development and there is quite noticeable traffic and suburban noise.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are unsure about your comments re noise. This holiday home is on a quiet road that ends with a cul de sac. The rear of the property backs on to Westbourne fields. The property is also set back from the road side.

Situated in a quiet area and well placed for Emsworth and Westbourne. Lovely area, excellent for walks and bird watching. Would recommend walks to Thorney Island and parts of Hayling Island too.
Furniture and beds were very comfortable and we had a very relaxing break.
Some of the kitchen equipment might need replacing, such as the wok and could do with some egg cups for boiled eggs.
Only other minor quibble is that the Internet connection is not the strongest.

Really enjoyed staying here however cleaning could have been better. Sweet paper behind settee, tissue on bedroom floor, there was a pool of oil on the hob, had to empty the vacuum cleaner before we could use it. Tea towel would have been useful as we had to buy some. Pots and pans could do with updating.

Cottage was well equipped, comfortable and in a lovely siuation. Unfortunately the cleaners had left dirty towels in the washer, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and crumbs left in the kitchen cupboard. Rest of the house was clean. When we informed the agents they were very concerned and said they would double check on the condition of the property before the next occupants.
