My husband, two children, and I spent 7 days at this townhome in Chichester. It was in a wonderful location, completely walkable to restaurants, groceries, and the Cathedral. We used it as a jumping off point to visit a lot of South England, it was very centrally located to all the points we visited on our trip. Be aware that the car parking spot is down a very narrow lane, but there is also street parking nearby (restricted during certain hours). All and all, an extremely pleasant visit, would absolutely recommend to others.
We found the Parlour to be well equipped, small but comfortable and ideal for a couple such as ourselves. The footpath across the road leading to the South Downs Way offers good walking opportunities. The nearest town, Petersfield, has all the facilities I think one would need. Being able to light the wood burning stove on a chilly evening was an added bonus.
Lovely comfortable and excellent quality accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Thank you.
Wonderful place:Spacious, very well equipped and lovingly decorated rooms. Nice beds, cool rooms on hot days (fell in love with the shutters!). Very light, windows everywhere. All one could wish for is present. Nice large fluffy towels, even perfect reading lights. Close to highway thus ideally located to make day trips and there’s easy on-foot access to large and small stores. Yet super quiet and tranquil place both during day and nighttime. Only pretty sound of whistling birds. Seaside just a short drive away, nice walking. Super stay!!!
Although we arrived very late due to delayed flight, we were in constant contact with the hosts, who helped us find the way-in the end even waving a torch in the street, so we knew were to go. Every help was available, if it was needed, but we were also able to enjoy our privacy. The cottage is lovely and cosy, the surrounding area due to the art of the host, created a joyful and peaceful surround. We specially loved the stone henge, most. beautifully created. Will try to book again.
Great location, near to the village and East Wittering beach and walking distance to West Wittering beach. In a quiet ,pleasant road. Thoughtfully renovated, with quirky, use of materials throughout. Practical, yet still cosy and comfortable. Kids loved the use of the private garden and the outside shower!
We had a fantastic long weekend exploring West Sussex based at Innisfree - three generations plus cockapoo for a family gathering. The house is well equipped and extremely comfortable and stylishly decorated and its close proximity to the beach was the big draw for us. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future.
Loved the Crab Shack and Rustington. Perfect location for beach walks and walking distance to a small town with various quality shops and restaurants. Would definitely go back.
Perfect, loved it! Amazing. Booked this for my partners wedding dress shopping weekend and it was perfect!
Very happy with the cottage. Excellent location for meeting up with family members. All mod cons included for worry free stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Little Maplewood. It is a comfortable, clean property with everything you need for a relaxing break. Even though it is in the garden of another house, it doesn't feel intrusive and has its own gate and entrance. The only thing I disliked was the rattan mat the bed was on as it was uncomfortable for bare feet but apart from that we loved it, especially the wet room which has the most fantastic shower! It's like being under a waterfall and felt very indulgent!
We loved our stay at the pebbles the property was very clean and tidy and we have had very good contact with the guys at Henry adams who made booking this property very easy
A lovely cottage in an excellent location in the centre of Midhurst with a well equipped kitchen and excellent all round facilities. Very clean and tidy and well managed by Henry Adams. Minor issues were dealt with immediately and communication was first class. Highly recommended.
Rubens Barn is a little rural gem. All of the creature comforts, extremely generous food provisions and a wonderful owner who greeted us on arrival and departure. Accessible to Chichester, Midhurst and Petworth. Highly recommended.
This was a real find and turned out just perfectly for the extended family gathering to celebrate my big birthday over a long weekend. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Leo commenting on what a fab place it was. Thanks again to Lou for all your help.
Can highly recommend this property. A beautiful barn, with everything you could wish for. The hosts also did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable.
Crabden Meadows is set in beautiful countryside and the quality of the accommodation matches the view. There are shops and other facilities within easy reach and you can even get food delivered if you want. There is a large comfortable lounge/diner with cooking facilities, a washing machine, fridge and freezer. The bathroom has a huge tub and great separate shower with loads of hot water. The first bedroom is a decent size with a comfortable bed and a second is available if needed (although we didn't). All the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality and the place itself is clean and tidy. ...more
The owners made us very welcome, the house was warm and comfortable, everything we needed was there and excellent welcome pack was provided
Caedwalla House provides excellent accommodation in the annexe to the main house. It has everything required, is spacious and comfortable. The contents of the hamper were much appreciated. The living room was a little chilly in the evenings as it was October but the fire soon heated it up. The owners were helpful and on hand if required. We found the location to be excellent, very quiet yet only a short walk to the High Street. The sea is also just down the road. We enjoyed walks in the area and suggest Pagham Harbour and Bosham as places to visit. The Seal in Selsey does excellent food and is...more
Very high spec, probably the most well equipped property we have had the pleasure to stay ,cleanliness and attention to detail unsurpassed. Located in a lovely area, full of everything you need. Have booked again for next year!
We had a lovely stay at The Parlour. The accommodation has been beautifully designed, really comfortable and well equipped. The owner lives nearby and was welcoming, and provided a fantastic welcome gift on arrival. We highly recommend this holiday accommodation.
I had a really good stay. The whole place was very clean, comfortable, and very convenient with a shop just around the corner and an easy walk or drive into Chichester. I will book again.
Amazing I love everything. the view. the rooms. the kitchen. It is well located in the center of the beach. I like everything
This is such a thoughtful renovation with a photo album left in the sitting room showing each stage of the building work. A lovely cottage with many small seated areas inside and a pretty garden too. Someone obviously cares about their guests. An extremely clean property and everything provided for your stay - even a picnic basket! Parking on-site is not available, this is the only drawback. However there is a nearby car park included in the price of the cottage.
Very comfortable, spacious house. We spent Christmas there and had a great time, highly recommended.
Everything about this property was as described.Lovely location in a beautiful country setting. Chichester,Arundal, Petworth and other villages are within easy access for days out. Old Root House is very well furnished. The bedrooms are of a nice size, with good bedding and plenty of towels. The kitchen is very well equipped A Great feature being the underfloor heating. The only fault i could find was the fiddly hob,and the television could be a bit larger. It was difficult to read text. Highly recommend Old Root House for a lovely rural peaceful stay.
Comfortable spacious flat, attractively furnished, with views out over the sea and millpond. Only a short walk into Emsworth. Good places to eat within easy walking distance.
We wanted to break up the long winter and came to Chichester for a change from London. Two of our party of five had to work for two days and were able to do this at the dining table with good Wi-Fi connection. The house was very colourfully decorated and the furniture was comfortable for a pre dinner drink together. The four bathrooms made life very comfortable as did the good quality beds and linens. The house location allowed us to walk everywhere in the city. The first evening we all went to the Chichester theatre. The Pallant Gallery is right around the corner. There are a number of very ...more
We had an excellent stay over 2021/2022 Christmas period and enjoyed wonderful views of the downs, walks to the village pub (red lion), and walks from Fernhurst up Blackdown Hill. The house was clean, comfortable and well laid out for a family or small group of friends with a spacious and well organized kitchen for cooking and enjoying meals. We also chose this accommodation because the ground floor has a bedroom and same level disabled access bathroom across the entrance lobby, which was necessary for a family member with limited mobility. Access to the property and instructions were clear an...more
A really good holiday house, with excellent furniture and décor. Very spacious throughout. Nice large kitchen (could have done with a full-sized dishwasher, but that's a minor quibble). Very useful separate utility space. Comfortable dining and living room area. Nice big telly - great for lazy evenings after long days out. Didn't try the log burner as it was unseasonably warm - but looked like it would be very cosy. Location was pretty good - lots to do in the surrounding area for days out. We enjoyed Chichester, Fishbourne, Portsmouth, Arundel etc. The only minor downside was limited opti...more
Faces on to a private courtyard with table and chairs (and grape vine). Very comfortably furnished. Good beds. Everything for a relaxing stay. Country walks on the doorstep and a short drive to loads of things to see and do.
A beautiful cottage in a perfect location set the scene for an amazing Christmas that ticked all the boxes for three generations to come together and celebrate family. Thank you for the Christmas hamper which was an added delight for all of us who enjoyed its treats.
Our stay in the Diary was without a doubt one of the most comfortable experiences away from home. The place is very spacious, with plently of room for four adults. The open plan kitchen with diner and living room made it easy for everyone to socialize while eating and relaxing. The most welcomed feature however was the beds, which were extremaly large and comfortable. Outside there was a large green open space with plenty of nature to watch incl. baby bunnies hanging around the balcony doors. There was plenty of cooking equipment as well as bread, butter, milk and flavoured water left in the ...more
The cottage was a lovely place to stay in with family. Great location for local walks. Kitchen was ample for us to cook as a group of six. Nice wood burner and comfy sitting space. Underfloor heating was lovely. Quiet except for owls! A very enjoyable stay. A minor couple of points: it would be helpful to have a book/folder including all the house information in addition to TV stuff. Also the initial description should include the fact that upstairs there are 2 cross beams in the corridor which are only about 5' high - meaning you have to bend every time you go through. So beware.
A beautiful place to stay in a very well appointed cottage. The hosts were attentive to our needs, but we’re never intrusive. The cottage came with everything you could need and the added bonus of the farm shop on site meant that fresh food was always available. Will certainly return.
A very attractive looking cottage with lovely outdoor seating area. Inside it was very clean and comfortable and the best equipped cottage we have stayed in. The location was ideal for visiting Arundel, Chichester, Littlehampton and many other places.
Everything was perfect from the quality of fittings, correspondence and even ease of parking in enclosed parking courtyard. The keypad on the front door was a great idea . It was central but very quiet at night!!
The living room was a good size compared to the kitchenette which was basic and behind 3 sliding doors. The small round sink was not big enough to take the dinner plates. The toilet shower room leading off of the bedroom was a reasonable size, however the multiple led down-lights were operated by a PIR. Ok for normal use, but in the middle of the night !!! a dimmer setting would be helpful. There was plenty of wardrobe space, however no full length hanging space for my wife's dresses. Good basic accommodation, in easy reach of Goodwood Racing Circuit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lambournes. It was immaculate and a welcome pack of coffee, biscuits, milk, tea and Prosecco was provided. One caveat was that the weather was particularly chilly and the heating was set to 10 degrees on arrival. It took several hours to warm the house. We suggest leaving the heating higher in winter. The bedrooms were delightful and the large bathroom pristine . We found the short walk to the shops and beach just right. Altogether highly recommended.
Excellent location - very comfortable and clean house. The beach is close by and sandy at low tide. Would visit again.
A lovely property in a fabulous location. Will return for another break. Lots of great walks and some lovely places close by to eat and drink.
We have stayed at this little cottage several times as it’s just perfect for a couple, close to the beach and the village. It has everything you could possibly need provided and has a very relaxing feeling. The owner is so kind, helpful and accommodating we just feel like we are at home. I highly recommend it and will be booking again soon.
Seagull cottage is a wonderful place to spend a week or two. There is plenty of space, a lovingly decorated sitting room and upstairs bedrooms with comfy beds. The surroundings are just magnificent. A 10-minute walk to the beach, an endless choice of sightseeing in the area, from Chichester to Arundel. Couldn't be better.
Only scored 3 for cleanliness because the lounge suite covers are very grubby and smelly. Although the beds are extremely comfortable the duvets and pillows needed laundering as they had an odour about them. This was our second visit to The Run this year and we thought the above had deteriorated since then. We have said "No" to "Would you recommend this property to others" due to the comments above. Also, a basic welcome pack would be appreciated in such a rural setting, other self-catering properties we have used in recent years all seem to provide one.
We chose this cottage for its quiet rural location and easy access to Portsmouth. Everything you need is available in nearby Petersfield.
Wonderfully idyllic lodge especially in the evening when the sun set which was perfect for two adults and a small one who enjoyed spotting rabbits and the field. We appreciated the thoughtful touches: a bountiful welcome basket, beach towels and children's books. The owner was kind and considerate. The location is great in being equidistant to West Wittering and Itchenor and near beautiful walks and great pubs. We had a lovely stay.
Beautiful countryside with excellent opportunities for longer and shorter hikes. Not too far from the beach (40 km). Pub with good food within 10 min drive, shops further away. Car necessary.
We found this apartment clean, comfortable and warm during a spell of wet weather. The kitchen, in particular, was very well equipped. It was conveniently located for the shops in Havant and the gated parking was an added bonus. Communications with the owner were excellent.
A group of us family members always spend New Year’s Eve together. We thought it would be nice to do a holiday rental this year. The house is a great size, with different seating areas, a games room in the garage and the beach off the garden we all had plenty to do! We will be booking this lovely home again.
We stayed at Orchard Mews for more than a week and had a fabulous stay. The house is well located for exploring Sussex and Hampshire. It was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully clean with a lovely garden space. The owners have put a lot of thought into making it inviting with various thoughtful touches. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will return again if we are in the area. The lower grading on customer service is because we ran into some issues with the letting agent --it has nothing to do with the owners who were lovely and very responsive.
Found the accommodation to be very clean and tidy and ideal for the short stay while working in the area - would recommend
Great flat with amazing views. The flat has everything you need to be comfortable with Tesco 4 minutes away and plenty of Deliveroo options. The window front is brilliant and with a drink in hand you can watch the world go by..not to mention join in on the evening watching of the moon which seems to be very popular there. Being on the right side of Bognor, it gives you a super chilled vibe around you. The Management Company is very Efficient and helpful. No hiccups or chasing needed. Access to flat was easy with a lock box and flat was clean and presentable. I took earplugs (always do on trip...more
We loved the apartment. It is spacious, with comfortable beds, a washing machine and well equipped kitchen. It is in the centre of town, within the walls, with restaurants and pubs nearby.
Clean and comfortable. This is our 4th stay at this lovely holiday home. Easy access to beach. Would recommend.
Stayed during the Christmas period and was lovely, lovely and warm and cosy - very well equipped. Fabulous views from the terrace , watching the wildlife . Will definitely stay again if in the area . Thank you
A stunning cottage in a quite area a short drive from the beach. Near marina and small lake. Wonderful interior. Quiet and peaceful. Customer service excellent.
Great location, can not fault anything will return. Only thing i would have liked was a later check out, but understand reason for vacating the premises at 10.00am.
My sister and family spent a few days here and really enjoyed staying in a beautiful old English cottage, as they live normally in New Zealand. They found the place comfortable and well-equipped and particularly enjoyed using the aga and wood burner in the lounge. Despite being a quaint cottage, there was room to host visitors for an evening. They had a great time at Paradise Cottage!
Comfortable, well equipped and convenient. Secure parking a bonus. Handy for shops and restaurants. Nice and warm.
Great location with convenient key safe for easy access. Flat is well equipped and very comfortable. Wifi is excellent and a second TV in the bedroom was very nice. The extractor fan in the kitchen maybe in need of attention as there is a strong smell of old cooking fat throughout the flat.
This is a lovely cottage, very well equipped and in a great location. It is a short walk to the coast but quiet as it is set back from the road. We have stayed here before and will again. The only slight short-comings on this occasion were no spare toilet rolls and no dishwasher tablets.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage at Hale Hill Farm. It is very spacious and was clean and well equipped. The owners, Clare & Nick, who live in the neighbouring farm were very welcoming without impinging on our privacy and ensured that we had everything that we needed. The cottage is situated in a peaceful spot overlooking water meadows. There are footpaths leading directly from the cottage onto the ridge of the South Downs, from which there is a large selection of possible walks. There is a wide variety of other attractions within a short drive.
Had a lovely time but master bedroom the mattress needs replacing as springs coming through and settee in lounge very uncomfortable also needs replacing but over all had a lovely time
Kerry the cleaner was the most helpful wonderful lady; who ensure the home beautiful clean, Christmas decs for the children and helpful via text, cottage was beautiful, everything you need for a holiday home! Beds were super comfy! Kitchen was fully kitted :) we couldn’t have asked for a better home for your stay x
2 Walled Garden was spacious enough and close enough to the beach. Unfortunately the lounge/dining area could do with modernisation. It felt dark, old and carpets were stained. The shower was over the bath was a not very powerful and tricky to wash long hair. The kitchen was bright but the cutlery and crockery was filthy dirty and had to be washed before using. The only dinner plates do not fit into the dishwasher and had to be washed by hand. It was dusty and dirty under all the beds upstairs and the bed linen was old and outdated. The whole place was just a bit grubby all round which was su...more
Our 4th stay at this cottage. Peaceful yet close to Emsworth and excellent road links. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. Staff at Henry Adams are lovely.
, great centre location , the house is lovely , comfortable and well equipped and the staff from Henry Adams are the best and very helpful , many thanks , i will be back for sure
Kalami is a lovely bungalow in a great location. Brilliant for the beach & local restaurant. Comfy beds and all the essentials provided. We had a great holiday. Our only improvement would be an upgraded TV with teenagers being able to access our Netflix/YouTube in the evening and a new microwave the coating inside is coming off. Minor improvements it's a great holiday let. Thank you
Our family loved this house. It's in a great exclusive location - just next to Chichester Marina. Great summer accomodation with two large, light and airy bedrooms upstairs. Southern England's best beach (West Wittering) is just on your doorstep too. Best holiday wi-fi we've ever had. Would definitley consider booking this cottege again.
We will without question return. The Stables is a beautifully thought out and well appointed cottage. It’s is exceptionally comfortable, from the crisp linens to the plentiful cosy towels. There is plenty outside space, and our hosts made us very welcome, encouraging us to take advantage of their wonderful farm. The cottage is ideally placed for the beaches and surrounding places of interest. It’s so nice to stay somewhere with great appliances and lovely crockery- the hosts have made this a lovely home from home and we have already recommended to friends.
Had a wonderful week. Really enjoyed the stay. Have stayed in bungalow previously, has such lovely views. Good to get away and dogs enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend Pagham.
Fantastic location. Beautiful home. Friendly and welcoming owner. Comfortable furniture. Lovely garden area. Thank you for a fabulous stay. 2 adults. 2 older teenagers.
We haved a problem with hot water at arriving and cleanliness of the house. Laura was very efficient and solved the problem the next day. I think the person in charge of cleaning and control the house before our arrival didn't look properly.
The property was ideal for our Xmas break. It was warm, well furnished and well layed out. The oven (s) were a tad small for our Xmas lunch for 7, but we managed. Nicely situated for the town centre and surrounding area. There were a few niggles (as is usually the case with any rental) but we will take these up separately with the letting agent. Overall, a very enjoyable time.
Found furnishings and television a bit dated but overall a lovely place to stay and relax in such a marvellous location.
Birch End was perfect for my husband, pets and me for a six week stay while we waited for our house purchase to complete. The owner was very helpful and friendly as was the neighbour who keeps an eye on things for her. We already knew Midhurst well, it is a lovely town in the beautiful South Downs with lovely walks, pubs and restaurants. The property is on a very quiet estate within easy walking distance of town or there is a very regular bus service. The house is cosy and warm and very well equipped, the conservatory and enclosed garden were great for our dog. Thank you for your hospita...more
We are local but needed somewhere to stay whilst our bathroom was renovated. We loved the cottage and have now learnt about the original buildings from the information left within the property. Local history is always interesting… The set up within the property was absolutely fine and we could come and go without any issues. I think if you were visiting the area this property would be ideal due to its location for both Chichester and the beaches at Wittering… a fairly busy junction at times..but all in all very pleasant .
On the positive side, the cottage was very comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The garden was well kept and and very useful for sitting out in the sun. The only negative comment is that the kitchen was lacking a number of necessary cooking utensils. The shape of the only frying pan was such that it was difficult to use on the hob. Also, a sieve would have been useful, as would more than one saucepan! Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and well situated for walking to the centre of Chichester.
Lovely, well appointed and equipped cottage, good location. Booking, payment, info etc efficiently handled. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The owners were very friendly and even presented me with a punnet of their own home grown strawberries, which were delicious. The bed was comfy, shower good, kitchen well equipped, roomy living room. The owners were relaxed and happy with me feeding the birds during my stay. Although I worked a relaxed peaceful stay.
The location is great and the beds are comfortable. The furniture is filthy and broken. It was so bad that we couldn’t sit in the chairs two of which were missing legs and with stained, revolting covers. We were told that they had been washed but they were so stained that we didn’t want to sit on them. Half the light bulbs were broken, they were replaced when we complained. The shower trap was so full of hair…hadn’t been cleaned for months ??? ….that it overflowed and came through the utility room ceiling. The fittings are shabby and a lot are broken. All in all I didn’t feel comfortable at ...more
Lovely homely property we were a group of 7 across 3 generations. We have stopped at the property before and enjoyed it. There are however a few things that need sorting. During our stay the ensuite shower head was broken as it kept falling off, the downstairs toilet handle did not work so you had to pull the mechanism manually in the cistern. There were a number of bulbs out and 1 light fitting hanging from the ceiling on the landing. One of the hobs did not work as there was no gas to it and the hinges on the over door need replacing. Having said all that it is a lovely cosy property. it is ...more
We loved oysters it’s a lovely house with everything you need . The location is brilliant with the pub next door that sells excellent food you have no worries about getting home after a few too many You are not far from Chichester, Southsea and Portsmouth so if weather not too good there are plenty of places to visit. Also you are in the Bosham village with it’s beautiful church and Bosham walk that has craft shops and a cafe . If weather warm you have the beach at the whitterings . We recently stayed for a long week end in December the house was cosy and the views still amazing in winter .
House is in a good location on the beach but in need of some repairs. Some windows don't open, front door lock was broken, hoover wasnt working well, had to empty the full clogged out hoover, no brush and shovel.
A spacious and secure property in a stunning location next to the sea. Customer service and communication was excellent.
Very well placed and equipped. 10 minute walk to the centre, 5 minutes to the Festival Theatre. Private parking excellent. On a main road, living rooms and main bedroom are quiet. Would visit again
Nice cottage. Has everything you want or need. Quiet location. Good for people who want to bring their dogs. Nice hosts.
We spent a wonderful week in July in the Loft, located just 50m from the gravel beach. With 6 sunny days we were quite lucky. As we cooked every day, just a dish washer was missing (but we knew about that before) - and sharp knives!
The house is very spacious and comfortable, with great views of the beach and coastline from the first floor. We loved the first floor little lounge - with its own dartboard too, and at night you can spot the cruise ships all lit up and lining up on the horizon to enter Portsmouth or Southampton. The kitchen was well equipped - the extra larder fridge in the utility room would be useful if a large family or two families were staying. The door handle on the French doors by the dining table was broken - we reported this to Henry Adams who checked if we needed it repaired during the visit....more
We had a lovely 2 week stay here in Oct '22. We have stayed in these deck houses a few times and this is a lovely example. Cosy, well equipped with lovely comfy beds and a full size bath! Great location up near the water too with beautiful views of the harbour. Hope to stay again soon. And thanks to the office team too, who were very helpful.
Flat is well appointed with state of the art appliances. Plus point is book with manuals for the above. Two small problems -eco flush toilet takes a long time to fill -shower head mount is loose . Neighbourhood is noisy .
I have stayed at Stonesthrow twice, both times off season when it’s quite cold. The flat is cost, warm and well equipped. The location on the seafront with local pubs, take aways and a handy supermarket mean you don’t need a car for the essentials. The second room has bunk beds, so more suitable for children than adults.
Location and Emsworth is a great place to explore loved our stay. Will definitely look to stay again soon.
The space was clean enough, convenient and private. There was lots of space for our family of 5. Overall the property was good it just needs some tlc. The kitchen floor boards look like some water damage has occurred in the past, the toilet seat is cracked and taped back together. These things didn’t cause us issues, the unit just needs a bit of maintenance and a good deep clean. Access to the unit upon arrival was easy. Would definitely stay again if we went back.
A good value comfortable flat in a large house converted into several flats. A little disappointed you are not able to use the fire in the photos and we had to clean the oven before we could use it but otherwise very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is tiny but fine and we had expected the location to be closer to Bosham harbour as it's not obvious where the flat is on the web. It is actually on the junction of the main road but not really an issue as the road noise is not a problem. Within easy walking distance of 2 good pubs and the Crate bar by the Coop is superb. Found the Property Easy enough. Parking outside the garage was perfect. Just be aware of reversing onto the road. Getting into to the property with the key codes was perfectly OK. Ans easy to achieve. Everything you possibly need is either in the garage or on the cottage!! Which we've never had before when renting a property for a week. Very thoughtful. Gardens were lovely and so is the gardener!! Our only issues were the mattresses are not that comfy what so ever. We played musical beds most nights, until we were in a bed we found comfortable. And the property wasn't that clean. Everything wa...more
Lovely accommodation. Reasonably well equipped for a few days although no hairdryer. No microwave. Comfy beds. Lovely bathrooms. Good parking provision. Excellent location in the town.
Really enjoyed staying here however cleaning could have been better. Sweet paper behind settee, tissue on bedroom floor, there was a pool of oil on the hob, had to empty the vacuum cleaner before we could use it. Tea towel would have been useful as we had to buy some. Pots and pans could do with updating.
A lovely little spot to stay in Midhurst. Nice and convenient. With a couple of touches it would take it from good to great. I'd definitely recommend to others.
The house was in a lovely village with easy access to the beach and Portsmouth. Ideal for our family get together. Couldn’t of asked for anything better for the money.
The flat was well-equipped, comfortable and warm (essential in the cold weather). On the downside, the directions finding and getting into the building were misleading and no-one was on the end of the Henry Adams phone to assist me. Huge thanks to some local residents who helped me - otherwise I might still be sitting on the doorstep now. Once inside, the flat wasn't quite as clean as I would have liked. Initial difficulties overcome, I greatly enjoyed my stay. The flat is well located for shops and cafes in the town, and for some lovely coastal walks. It's also walkable from the statio...more
the house is only a few minutes walk away from the beach, perfect for walks. the living room is a bit dark and seating uncomfortable. unfortunately no outdoor seating available. a steep staircase to the bedroom
Located a short stroll to the beach and prom, and right behind the main shopping area, so lots of cafes/restaurants very close by. Good wifi. Nice for a short stay.
Church Cottage is a comfortable mid terrace house. It was ideal for 3 adults and a small elderly dog. The patio garden is enclosed so secure for the dog and a suntrap later in the day. The house is tastefully furnished and quite spacious. Considering it is a self catering holiday let, the kitchen could be better equipped with some new baking trays and a saucepans with lids that match. The parking is difficult especially if you return later in the day or choose to go out in the evening. We had to park several streets away on 2 days we were there. Please could the map showing zone J parking b...more
Spacious cottage with especially nice kitchen/dining/family room but when the outside temperature drops the house is not warm. Quirks include a clear glass bathroom window with no curtain and most of the kitchen cupboards full of owners effects.
A well equipped, lovely situated bungalow that has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Warm and welcoming, within a stones throw (short walk) of a couple of hundred yards to the beaches around East Wittering. I would have to add, perhaps it's just me, the bed I slept it was so comfortable! The best nights of sleep I've had for an age. Candy Corner, although easy to find, being close to the main road to the village of West Wittering, there was seemingly no road noise, a very quiet place to stay. If you're a walker, Candy Corner is ideal. Around the corner and up the road just a ...more
