Henry Adams side of booking was excellent. That is were the good news stops. The appartment was advertised as luxury and was far from it. Due to a general state of disrepair, lack of maintenance, lack of crockery and glasses, dirty and mould ridden items and furniture that was damaged and in some cases unusable. The fridge freezer was broken on arrival, and the response recieved from the person that attended to our report, was do we actually need one? In addition a sectional sofa that was not complete, (connection lugs open to scraping your legs as you sit) and a floor that had been waxed over a layer of dirt, were reasons enough to change from luxury to just adequate. However, the whole appartment needs to be refreshed, cleaned and repaired before some other poor unsuspecting visitor is subject to an overpriced carbuncle of advertising injustice.
There are so many other items wrong with this appartment that it would take pages of reviews to cover. So to summarise - on a sliding scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is luxury, i would place it at minus 5......
I would repeat that Henry Adams were extremely attentive to our problems and acted on our behalf, dealing with a belligerently difficult appartment owner.
