Cosy cottage with everything you need. Great to be able to park the car close to the house. In the village but silent.

Always a nice stay at Sparrow Cottage in Westbourne. Close to pubs and a great Indian restaurant. Recommended year around.

We stayed in this lovely quirky cottage for a family get together when some of the family attended the Victorious festival in Southsea. We expected to be 8 but in the event we were only 7. All the bedrooms were double beds which was a slight inconvenience. However we found the rest of the house adequate for our needs and we were all able to squeeze round the kitchen bar for our meals. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen to cover our needs and a very generous welcome pack. We were able to use the garden which had plenty of seating for us all. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

While the all-double bedrooms might have been a bit inconvenient, we're glad the rest of the house met your needs. The well-equipped kitchen and generous welcome pack seem to have added to your stay. The garden's seating surely enhanced your experience. Please note that the number of bedrooms and bed sizes are clearly indicated in both the photos and description. The cottage was perfect for our unusual need. It would certainly make a fantastic base for getting away and exploring Hampshire and West Sussex. The detailing and styling gave the cottage a lovely feel. Westbourne is well served by nice village pubs, great chippy and fantastic Indian restaurant. What's not to love!

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location set the scene for an amazing Christmas that ticked all the boxes for three generations to come together and celebrate family. Thank you for the Christmas hamper which was an added delight for all of us who enjoyed its treats.

The cottage is in a great location, but parking is a problem as only one car can park at the property. The owners have a considerable amount of memorabilia and it felt as though there wasn't anywhere to put our "stuff".
With only two bathrooms it would be a significant difficulty with 8 people. We had three people and that worked well, had we had five as planned (two could not come) it would have been crowded in the house and difficult with the bathrooms.
I would recommend the property for three, but not the eight as advertised.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We do feel Sparrow Cottage is accurately advertised. The photographs are up to date and the write up is accurate. There is one off road space at Sparrow Cottage, any further parking would have to be on the road. The owner has decorated the house to give a cosy cottage feeling and used local memorabilia that links to Goodwood and the area. The photographs i feel do reflect the house style well. Eight can comfortably be accommodated here, particularly a family that don't mind sharing across the two bathrooms. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. Thank you for the 4.2 rating.

We had crew staying in this property for work.
They very much liked this property and requested it was booked again for future jobs.
(which we have already done!)
The location was perfect and so was the property!
We definitely recommend.
