Innisfree is set on a quiet private road, only feet away from direct access to the beach. You couldn't ask for a more idyllic spot. Innisfree set over 2000 square feet is newly built and furnished to a very high standard; the hosts have gone to great lengths to make Innisfree a home from home with comfortable furnishings and a modern living space. There is a spacious stylish living room with comfortable seating and a smart TV and patio doors giving direct access to the garden and a peaceful sun terrace.

There is comfortable seating in the large L shaped garden perfect to enjoy al fresco dining as well as a sitting area to relax while the children play on the grass. There is an open plan kitchen, with large dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kettle, cafetiere, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster, there is also a separate utility room with washing machine. Iron and ironing board is also provided. The downstairs double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower.

A separate downstairs cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs there are a further 3 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms, one which has east facing balcony (ideal for an early morning coffee); and a twin bedroom. There are 2 further bathrooms, a family bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a separate shower room. There is another living space upstairs which has a vaulted ceiling and a roof lantern. There is a smart TV and access to the south facing balcony which overlooks the beautiful peaceful beach. A perfect spot to sit and have your morning coffee and watch the world go by. There is a sofa bed in the downstairs living room, which is available upon request. Parking is available for 3 cars, WIFI is included and it is also dog friendly. There is a garage on site, this isn't available for cars but you can use it for bike & kayak storage. Here there is also BBQ and extra fridge, freezer for guest use.

Innisfree is set in the beautiful West Sussex coastal village of Middleton-on-Sea. The picturesque village centre is a very short walk from the cottage and has local stores, coffee shops and an excellent fish and chip shop, among others. The historic architectural style of the buildings in the village makes it a most attractive place to spend some time. The seafront is a short walk away, accessible on foot via a nearby private estate. The area also benefits from many cycle routes and walks, including the rolling South Downs National Park.

A short drive along the coast are the seaside resort towns of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, both offering a typical English seaside atmosphere with sweet shops, beach front promenades and a pier. The beautiful cathedral city of Chichester lies just to the north west and is famous for its Roman connections, as well as the Festival Theatre which attracts some of the world's top actors. Chichester is dominated by the cathedral and its shopping centre has preserved its heritage and character. The Goodwood Estate lies just to the north of Chichester and, along with its horse racing, is now maybe most famous for the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival motor racing events.

The location offers easy access to the cities of Brighton and Portsmouth, both along the south coast. These larger cities offer excellent shopping, as well as attractions such as the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth, home of the British Navy. From Chichester and Bognor Regis there are rail links direct to London.

Innisfree is a very nice house with plenty of room for a family gathering. Everything you need including comfy beds. Some of the dining chairs were a bit rickety so needed care and the washing machine was broken and didn't get attended to while we were there. The garden was perfect for our dog but the grass was very long which made it difficult clearing up after him. The bbq was very dirty so we abandoned that idea as was the extra fridge in the garage which would have been useful as the fridge in the house is only an under counter size.
Overall, it was a good experience and we mention the things above so there is an opportunity to fix these things. Having run a holiday home myself for many years it is not helpful if folks don't tell you!

We had a fantastic long weekend exploring West Sussex based at Innisfree - three generations plus cockapoo for a family gathering. The house is well equipped and extremely comfortable and stylishly decorated and its close proximity to the beach was the big draw for us. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

This is a lovely house with great interior design. It is spacious with 2 lounges, 3 bathrooms and a large garden. There was plenty of room for our 8 adults and 3 dogs. There are a couple of balconies too to sit on and catch the sun. We used the large barbecue which worked well.
It is a two minute safe walk to the beach and there is a kayak and paddle board to use if wanted. There is both a local shop and a pub which was very friendly and served good food in walking distance.
Everything was in good condition and modern and we found everything we needed - the kitchen was well stocked with both implements and condiments etc.
Highly recommended - we had a great stay there. The hosts were also very welcoming.
