Because of our circumstances, our stay at Emsdale House was the perfect location. However, the kitchen lacked tongs and a coffee pod machine. The settee cushion had seen better days, the springs almost at the surface of the fabric, making it rather uncomfortable to sit on. The double bed mattress was very soft, and lacked spare linen.
The apartment manual was very useful, allowing for accurate use of the washing machine, but could have included instructions on how to manage the heating system, which appeared to have a mind of its own.
Overall, the apartment was quite nice, with a good outlook to the rear garden. With some alterations made in the future, this property could easily achieve a 4 or 5 star rating. Good for couples , but not really suitable for more than 2 people.

Working locally for a month and rather than a hotel wanted somewhere I could cook and do washing myself. This was idea location, price and access. All amenities necessary. Comfy bed and pillows. Well provided kitchen (hob/oven/microwave/fridge/freezer/washing machine/dryer). Lots of parking space.
