Although it is a beautiful big house I felt that for the price paid it lacked some refinements, i.e
(1) there were no bedside table lamps in four of the bedrooms
(2) the bedding was inferior as the quilts on the double beds were wafer thin
(3) the fan in the family bathroom was very noisy so had to turn it off
(4) there were no coffee/side tables in the lounge to put your drinks on
(5) there was no wardrobe/hanging space for clothes in one of the en-suite bedrooms
(6) Sink plug doesn’t work in kitchen sink
BUT apart from these few gripes, which I hope is constructive criticism for you, we had a really lovely time celebrating my son’s 40th birthday and the house was very welcoming and in a good location. I would recommend it with the above changes. Many thanks.

My family had a great stay at Kingsley. The property was in a beautiful area and offered a convenient location to explore surroundings. The house and gardens were clean, spacious and provided everything needed for a family of 10. The local information provided by the owner was helpful in allowing us to choose activities and eateries. Henry Adams were helpful agents and gave good information beforehand. We're so pleased we chose this accommodation.

Beautiful house, very well equiped. The location is nice and quite, but you're better with a car. Very confortable and nicely decorated (except the family photos, rather embarrassing). The customer service is perfect as usual. I highly recommande this place.

Great potential but let down by simple things that could easily be resolved

This property is fantastic and good value for money. It is a very grand proerty with good space for 10 and ample parking. Instructions to get to the house were very good. The location was excellent in easy reach of lots of interesting things to see and do.

We had an initial problem with the cooker not lighting but this was resolve quickly by a visit from the gas engineer. The kitchen was a little tired for example the dishwaser rocks back and forth. Water pressure in master bedroom was rubbish.

The property was let down by a few other things that could easily be sorted. Firstly there was no guest book or instructions for things like the bins and what day they went out on. The recycle was also full inside and outside on arrival which didnt give a very clean feel. There was also no cushions for the garden furniture at least not that we could find. The furniture also needs a wash down.

Cleaning generally was an issue - the house felt as though it hadnt been cleaned very well so much so that we cleaned the day we got there. Not a major issue but something I didnt expect to be doing.

In addition the house also had quite a lot of family possessions and family photos up on the wall/junk draws/ clothes in wardrobes etc. This gave a slight feeling of housesitting rather than a holiday let. In my view it would be much better to move all this stuff in a cuboard and lock the cuboard etc.

I have put that I would recommend the property but on the basis that the issues outlined are resolved.
