Just a stone’s throw away from Prinsted. This wonderful family home is the perfect base to the area with the family. The village itself is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The company where good to deal with kept you up dated with information and helpful on phone.
Great place to stay. It’s near to places visit for shopping and walks. Enough room to stay in and be cosy on a winters day.
We found the kitchen a good hub of the cottage but found the lack of number/sets of glasses and crockery could be looked at as for a party of 6 where not accommodated for. The key box was also tricky to open, could do with a little maintenance.

Lovely modern house with plenty of space for a family four. If we were visiting the area again we’d happily return to Pears Grove. With demanding teenagers having good quality WiFi and TVs in all the bedrooms was a real bonus. In terms of minor improvements we’d suggest: a set of oven gloves, washing up brush and a four person (rather than one cup) cafetière plus access to appliance instructions in the kitchen. We couldn’t work out how to open the bifold kitchen doors so rather than risk doing something wrong we left them. Only other issue we came across was the wall mounted RF aerial port in the first floor bedroom appears to be loose / broken so signal is too weak to sustain anything but BBC1 & 2. Also general info on facilities (eg waste collection days) local amenities, recommended pubs / restaurants, telephone numbers, opening / closing times, places to visit / things to do was some what lacking - providing a simple folder with such info would be simple to do and really useful for any strangers to the area. The best places we have stayed at over the years have also provided a welcome pack with essentials like bread & milk, biscuits, chocolates and sometimes a bottle of wine.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your freed back. I'm sorry you didn't use the bi fold doors as it's wonderful having them open up with the canopy down in this lovely weather. If you had called us we would have popped over to show you how to use them. We will take a look at the aerial in the bedroom. I understand all other television's were working well. We will look at adding details in the cottage about things to do . After covid we started doing so much of this electronically but it could go back in. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a fresh welcome pack at this house but i will certainly recommend to the owner a little extra is considered.

Lovely house, very clean, comfortable, plenty of room, it had everything we needed & more, it was well above our expectations. Parking is easy, house is in a very quiet good location, with shop, pubs within walking distance, and 20 mins by car to Portsmouth, will definately stay here again, and will recommend to family & friends.

We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting family who live in the area. The cottage was lovely - beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was very clean. The location was perfect for us and the area was very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and all agreed that we would book to stay here again in the future. The only things we can suggest which would improve the property would be blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms, as the current curtains and blinds let in a lot of light as the sun rises in a morning.
Thank you for a fantastic stay, we are looking forward to staying again!

Our colleague very much enjoyed staying at Pears Grove whilst supporting us on a major project for three weeks. With such a short distance from our office in Emsworth and other colleagues it provided superb relaxing home from home comforts as well as being able to provide great space to carry out any preparation required for the next working day.

Great property. Immaculate; spacious; well equipped; Quiet; and great location.
Would have liked blinds/curtains at the patio doors in both the lounge & kitchen but no big deal as no-one can see in.
Would definitely return if available.
