Great location. Well maintained lodge. Beautiful setting so peaceful and tranquil.
Ideal for many places of interest to visit with public transport at a stones throw. So convenient.
Friendly and efficient staff at both Henry Adam’s and the Green Door Centre.
Highly recommended and we will certainly be returning again. This was our second visit anyway.

The lodge was very comfortable, situated in a delightful garden. You are surrounded by nature and it is great for a peaceful stay. There are only 2 other lodges on the site. The people at the yoga centre in the grounds are very helpful, as were the staff at Henry Adams Holiday Cottages. The lodge was close to a main road and a railway but this was not intrusive. The accommodation was a good size for 2 people and quite well-equipped. The cooking facilities enable you to self-cater if you wish but should you wish to go out for a meal, there are several pubs in Bosham close by. We went for Sunday lunch at the picturesque Berkeley Arms, which was excellent. There are also 2 supermarkets within walking distance. If you are walkers, you are spoilt for choice, with a large range of scenic footpaths. Equally, there are plenty of off-road cycle tracks to explore. We cycled the lovely Hayling Billy Trail from Havant to Hayling Island and back. On another day, we took the small ferry from Bosham to Itchenor with our bikes and then cycled the Salterns Way from Itchenor to West Wittering, ending up with a picnic at the beach. Other highlights were a visit to West Dean for the beautiful gardens and also a trip to the Weald and Downland Museum with its very interesting collection of reconstructed historic houses. We had a great stay and would love to return.

One of 3 lodges set in gardens, which are lovely to walk around in the evenings, within a retreat that offers yoga etc quiet location with some traffic noise from the A259, mainly during the day.Well equipped ,the lodge has anything you could reasonably expect.Plenty of parking. The footpath from the A259 which connects to the coastal footpath to Bosham is closed due to erosion so you access Bosham by road/pavement. Bus stop for service 700 to Chichester /Portsmouth a short walk from the lodge, frequent service. Good information pack in lodge.

The Red oak is a beautiful place to stay, the lodge has all what you need, it is a clean and silent retreat.
The view on the green makes it even more relaxing, we saw a squirrel, many robins and other birds. A lovely place.
As welcome we received a tasty wine and cookies and an invitation to a free yoga session. I took part to it in the next green door center and it was a positive experience among friends.
It is next to bus stop and train station.
There are a lot of wonderful walks from the lodge.
We had a great time here.
