A luxurious conversion of a boatyard’s sail loft, this property is now an attractive 3-bedroom 2-bathroom holiday home close to the centre of the old fishing village of Emsworth and its picturesque harbour. The Old Sail Loft offers a perfect holiday to escape the stress of your day to day lives and an excellent base from which to explore the many attractions in the area.

We have just returned from a 6 day stay at The Old Sail Loft, Emsworth. We chose this cottage mainly because of the location to Goodwood but also having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was perfect for our family.
This cottage ticked the boxes in so many ways, 20 mins from Goodwood, 15 mins from Portsmouth, just a 5 min walk into the town, lots of places to eat and takeaways that delivered.
The cottage was extremely well equipped, lots of pots, pans, cutlery and so much more besides there was absolutely nothing we needed only food. Even tea and coffee which was great, a dishwasher and washing machine, fridge, freezer and double oven.
Lots of space upstairs with 2 huge double sofa, and a very large dining table. There were 2 double bedrooms downstairs and a bathroom, 1 double upstairs with its own bathroom, beds very very comfortable all provided with linen and towels.
The only slight issue was parking as there was 2 families with 2 vehicles there is only parking for 1, lots of parking spaces with permits around the town and a couple of car parks for 24 hrs, but obviously at a cost, as we were out all day, we were able to park in the street around the corner after 6.00 p.m. A very comfortable cottage with everything we needed and a perfect location.

An ideal location being incredibly convenient for work plus superb comfort etc. and we would like to return later this year. The location of this property is ideal for exploring Emsworth by foot and the wider area by car, bus or train. Very quiet location - thanks for a great stay.

The only reasons that we did not provide excellent on everything was due to the broken oven seal and lack of a microwave. Henry Adams customer service was superb with them quickly fixing the poor rubbish use of the designated bins by the previous occupiers.

Freezer still had frozen
foods in
Upstairs bathroom grout could do to be updated
TV VERY complicated with no help from agent/son
Couldn't find the dryer as stated in particulars
Beds were comfy and linen n towels good.
Would be helpful to state parking ONLY FOR ONE CAR.
