Fort Belan is a stunning 18th century fort on the coast of Caernarfon Bay. Newborough House is a Georgian house with tremendous character. Pets welcome. Close to beach.

We stayed in a cottage in Fort Belan for a week with a family of 4 (58, 54, 20 and 15 years old). We are campers but our experience with the weather in Wales made us book a cottage for our stay. It served our purpose very well. The surroundings were magnificent. The fort is made into cottages in a very nice way, with a good eye for detail. The housekeeper and the manager were available if you wanted to ask something and easy to talk to.
We could see the struggle to keep everything in order. You could see the age of the place coming through. We think it's a big adventure and a lot of work to keep everything in the right order.But we wish you every bit of succes because the Fort and the surroundings are worth it.
