A new farmhouse with 8 bedrooms, 6 of which are en-suite and can sleep up to 15 people. The house is furnished to a high standard with fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms and can be separated into two individual apartments. It is located on a 35 acre farm in the beautiful Welsh countryside, just a few minutes walk away from the award winning Lligwy beach.

We recently stayed at Hendy - Tyddyn Mon for a 3 generation celebration of a special birthday. Michelle welcomed us and was very friendly and informative. The house is very spacious, there was plenty of room for everybody and provided everything we needed.

It was very clean and well decorated, furniture all modern and in good condition. The weather wasn't kind to us but the children in our party still loved going outside to explore and playing hide and seek in the house.

It was a wonderful break away and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

The property was extremely comfortable and spacious and very well equipped. There were just one or two kitchen items missing, one being a larger teapot and tea cosy for same, just a small item. Cleanliness was excellent in all rooms and facilities first class. On site staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location is great, 20 mins walk from the sea and we were so lucky with the weather! The fact that the property is right next to a big field with a playground and the Pancake House with a soft play area made it perfect for our group with 3 kids under six years old. Michelle was a very responsive and friendly host. Only issue is that sound of footsteps travels downwards so if you are on the top floor you need to be quiet moving around. Otherwise a lovely accessible home for a big family.

We stayed at Tyddyn Mon last year as a 4 generation family, and booked again for the same weekend this year. Our stay was even better, our great grandchildren, another year older, made it for all of us. The house is ideal, as there is room outside for the children to play and the outside and inside play areas were very popular, not forget the chickens, who were a big favourite with the 20 month old. The facilities in the house were second to non, cots, highchairs and bed guard provided on request. We will definitely go back, probably next year. Mustn't forget the pancake house, where we had a great lunch on the Saturday.

The house is superb. We were a 3 generation party of 15 celebrating a 60th birthday and New Year. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and mainly ensuite. The upstairs lounge and kitchen/dining room easily accommodated us all. The house is in a fairly remote location but we had everything we needed for the weekend delivered by asda. Any last minute items were easily accessible by car from the Tesco express in Benllech. The local area provided lots of walks along the beaches and coastal paths. Michelle the owner was lovely and friendly. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return again

We loved our stay. The location is great. The addition of hiring a hot tub was a bonus. Would recommend to large families / groups. The grounds are great for kids too.

We had a lovely weekend, with our children, grandchildren, their partners an four great grandchildren. The house was great for everyone, the children loved the playground, and soft play area. It was a beautiful weekend and we spent most of the time outside, and there was plenty of room for everyone inside and out. My husband has reduced mobility and the adapted room was great for us. The owners provided cots, highchairs and bed rails for the babies.
We can't thank everyone for making our weekend so special. We will be back

We first stayed at Hendy in May when it was the Queen's Jubilee week. We thought the place was amazing. We're a large family, 6 kids and 6 grandkids, plus kids' partners of course, so we booked the house for the week and it was up to the kids who came along, and when. The first week the place was deserted most of the time because of the extra bank holidays, and we had no qualms about letting the grandkids run around. The grounds are a heaven for kids - a huge mowed field with a small playground which we spent ages on with our cricket set and (safe) archery set, woods with trails through them and great clearings with fire pits and a brilliant look-out tower, the grandkids (and the grown up lads) thought it was brilliant and we had a couple of nights toasting marshmallows in the woods.
The house itself is really modern, clean, BIG, I can't think of enough complementary adjectives. Every room is so big ! The beds are good (not WOW but good enough) and the best bit for me as an asthmatic was that I never used my inhaler once on the two weeks we were there, which in my case means the place was dust-free, a great plus-point. The house is really well equipped - a Smart TV in the big lounge (although see internet comment below), great fridges, freezers, microwave, everything you need really. There was a barbecue on the patio and that got used one evening too. The showers were brilliant - and the hot water never-ending. There is internet with a WiFi router but this was barely useable due to the remote location of the house - it was a VERY slow connection. We noticed that the telephone poles have all been upgraded to carry fibre to the home so hopefully a future upgrade to the house will include fibre-broadband (Hint Hint). There is no mobile phone connectivity in the house itself, we tried several networks and no service from any, to make a call you need to walk up the lane a little. This could be seen as a positive point or negative depending on your desire to be contacted whilst on holiday ! The other slight negative comment is that the sound insulation within the house is poor, it is VERY noisy when there's lots of kids and you can hear them everywhere. I completely understand the need for the wooden floor coverings and I know that really helps keep the dust down far better than carpets would, but my goodness it got noisy when the kids were playing.
Anyway, after our first week there in May we all wanted to return so much so we went back for the first week of August. This week the place was busier, I think it's some sort of recycling centre that is based there, so there was a lot of traffic in and out throughout the weekdays and we couldn't let the grandkids roam quite as freely, but otherwise we had another absolutely awesome week. I'd like to think that we will go back to stay here again.

We rented this house for a girls (62!) getaway. It was perfect for us as we hired the whole house so we all had our own bedroom with bathroom, either en suite or adjacent. The two kitchens were very well equipped and spacious with a lovely big oak table to seat us all comfortably.
The lounge was light & comfortable with plenty of seating. We hired the hot tub which was all arranged for us which was great .
Lligwy beach was approximately a mile away & we enjoyed the walk down & then continued on the coastal path round to Moelfre which is a very pretty seaside village.
One of the bathrooms was actually a wet room & house was wheelchair accessible so it was ideal for anyone needing these facilities.
I will certainly book this house again either with same group of friends or with family group with grandchildren & parents.

We had a fantastic Easter weekend here at Tyddyn Mon. The Accommodation was first class and absolutely spotless, we were provided with a lovely welcome pack in the fridge on arrival and a little bag of toiletries on ever bed. Have stayed previously. House is excellent for our large extended family reunion. However, disappointed that the Pancake house and other resources were not available despite still being advertised. On site staff are welcoming and friendly.

This obviously new property provided us with excellent standard accommodation. Everything was clean and new. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding high quality.
There were a few things missing, for example, we couldn't find a teapot or instructions on heating and hot water, but presume these were because it was all so new
Thank you for a lovely stay

3 night weekend stay but most of the family had to leave on sunday due to work/school committments
Some drawbacks 1 firedoors made a great deal of noise and were heavy to open .2 noise from upper apartment
was noisy due to lack of insulation on floor.3 beds were bit too soft 4 no sheets and duvets too warm 5 Plastic utentils
needed for children.6 configuration of bedrooms was confusing
Facilities and location was good.but wouldnt recomend until doors were altered cos at times it was noiser than a hotel.
Staff were excellent and nice touch was the food including bara brith bread left for us.

Thank you for your feedback. We have received the following response from the owner:- "Thanks for drawing our attention to this, with regards to the doors, we have a company coming in soon who are going to fit new closers to all the doors which will make them lighter and will allow them to be left open, the closer will automatically close the door if the fire alarm goes off. 2. Because of the size of the house and the laminate flooring upstairs some noise can be heard downstairs, especially when the house is full. We'll look to see if there is anything that we can do to reduce to this. 3 & 4. We'll look into this, but previous guests have commented saying that the beds are very comfortable. 5. Plastic cutlery isn't something we had thought of, but we've now bought some and will put them in both kitchens. "
