We loved this cottage. The location was quiet but only 5 minutes walk into town and to the beach. There was loads of room for the 4 of us including a large kitchen and front room. Also a very useful utility room for boots and coats.

This is a well situated property - within a short walk of town centre and the sea. The property is well maintained and owner was very easy to contact and liaise with. It has all the equipment you would likely need . No particular views but ,In short, - very good.

Property is well maintained and well equiped and owner was very friendly and helpful. Had a good sunday lunch in the Liverpool Arms and its worth exploring the back streets of Beaumaris for the Bakery and all the independwnr shops. You are never far from some great places: Newbourough Forest, Nan-t-Pandy Red Squirrel Reserve, Benlech Beach, being just a few we visited.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the bungalow. The location is superb and within easy walking distance of the town which has a great selection of eateries and watering holes. We found the Liverpool arms to be excellent and also the Indian restaurant in Church road. The facilities in the bungalow were spot on and it was extremely clean and homely. We were able to explore the island and found the beach at Newborough and the nature reserve with its herd of wild horses wonderful. We also visited the museum and geology shop at Stone Science which we found most interesting. Bangor and Snowdonia are within easy driving distance and we were able to visit the Mountains and partake in a bit of strenuous exercise a good excuse for crossing the Menai Straits on one of the 2 bridges always an enjoyable experience. So all in all an excellent holiday can highly recommend.

Excellent property. Even my wife couldn’t find fault (and she’s very good at finding fault).
Super clean and tidy, really spacious, great location. A couple of things which you can’t tell from the online description: it’s spotless, there’s loads of space (certainly for a family of 5), there are 2 fridges and a sizeable freezer (some descriptions say ‘’freezer compartment’ but it’s bigger than that), great Wi-Fi, tv, dvd (so bring your favourites from home).

Smidde Wen is a lovely, spotlessly clean bungalow in a quiet corner of Beaumaris but yet close to the sea front and beaches. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms comfortable. There plenty of space for 6 guests. We hope to return!

We have been coming to Simmde Wen for many years and simply love it. To us it feels like home. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy, spacious and has all the amenities we require. Private parking outside the property is also an added bonus. A five minute stroll along the seaside wall will get you right into the heart of this vibrant town.

Simdde Wen is a lovely cottage, very well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels etc. It's like a new pin when you arrive, I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere so clean and well appointed. Everything works and the shower is brilliant. The owners couldn't have been more helpful when we were there and best of all, so central to Beaumaris.
We will definitely be staying there again, whether it be for a weekend or another week next year!

A cottage with parking within 2 minutes walking distance of Beaumaris town centre is rare indeed. Then you add that it is a fantastic cottage with everything you need and you have the perfect place to stay

We enjoyed our short stay (4 nights) at Simdde Wen. The bungalow is clean, very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. It is well located on the edge of Beaumaris with ample car parking space but only a short walk (5 minutes) to the seafront, pier, shops and restaurants. The 3 bedrooms are large with plenty of space and very comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The lounge and kitchen are also large and well equipped plus there is a utility room with washing machine and very useful additional fridge/freezer. Nice sunny and private garden with dining table, chairs and a bench. Location is great to visit anywhere in Angelsey, or further afield to Snowdonia and the Llyn peninsula. We highly recommend Simdde Wen.

Just the right distance from the town centre making it a good quiet location. The bungalow is very spacious with excellent facilities and is a good base from which you can explore the rest of Anglesey.
The owners son has a garage in the town and he saved the day when the power steering failed on my car.

We were delighted to find a Christmas tree with decorations and lights to welcome us....such a thoughtful touch. Everything was ready and plenty of kitchen utensils and airing cupboard full of towels. Appreciated the WiFi. A very short walk to town which had plenty of restaurants and shops.

The bungalow was in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the town centre. The place was in immaculate condition and tastefully decorated and had pretty much everything you could need. Could do with a bit of modernisation - the main bed was a bit lumpy and the shower needs updating but these were minor things - we thought it was fantastic value for money and we would definitely stay there again.

The fact that this is our third visit to Simdde Wen says it all. We love Beaumaris and have visited many times. We like the location of Simdde Wen in a quiet street in the centre of Beaumaris. The bungalow itself is always clean and comfortable.
