Rickbarton is a tastefully converted cottage with one double bedroom which can accommodate a travel cot if necessary. It has an open plan living area with kitchen/diner with entrance stable door to garden area. The bathroom has a bath/shower above, WC and handbasin.

We have had a fantastic week at Rickbarton Cottage on Church Farm Cottages. We have swam in the onsite swimming pool, and used the wood sauna onsite both were clean and added to our week away.

We have been to Hartley Farm and Seven Stars and explored some of the surrounding area.

It has been an amazing holiday. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay on a working farm.

We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable cottage, almost all of what we wanted was there, we absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed the walk around the farm and the use of the pool, the booking system works really well and it lovely and well kept, we used are 10% voucher at. Hartley farm shop that has lots of lovely stuff, the cottages are well situated for access and I’m sure we will be back again, we did just have a thought that a small BBQ area would have been really nice for cooking some lovely fresh produce from the farm, we really did enjoy are evenings down at the seven Stars pub and the welcome is fantastic by the staff and food exceptional

It was easy to book and there was a lot of useful information on the property app. The location is perfect for trips to Bath and Bradford OA, and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. The owners were very responsive to issues we reported and generally friendly and helpful. We are sure to be back.

The location was good, plenty to see and do in the area. The swimming pool was a brilliant add on also. The property was clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and very helpful.



A great getaway in the countryside. Even nicer if fair weather allows use of the veranda

We used several cottages as the base for a family gathering close by and had a very enjoyable stay. Was great to be able to have accommodation together but still have the option to retreat to rest. The cream tea welcome was much enjoyed after a long day of travel. Check in and checking out was very easy and flexibility very much appreciated as we were travelling with senior parents and coming from abroad. The cottages are well equipped and cozy, but rather narrow space if one has restricted mobility, or is tall. Well-situated in a lovely village with great walks and good places to go out. The hot water supply was not consistent and the loo seat ill fitting, so bathroom was not of the standard one would expect at these rates. Didn't manage to try out the advertised pool, as often occupied by swimming lessons. Must come again to enjoy that and have more time to explore the wonderful landscape.

Accommodation was amazing. Bed really comfortable. Supplies of hand wash, shower wash, washing up liquid and what we needed were of outstanding quality. Lovely to have a cream tea welcome. The pool was perfect! We had it to ourselves most days! Had great fun playing table tennis too. We attended the lambing tour which was so informative. Got the local bus into Bath one day. I can’t think k of anything that would have improved our stay. We highly recommend you visit.

Very convenient and cozy location for a family trip to Bath. Found the accommodations well appointed, clean and quiet.

We had a lovely family weekend at CFCC , with excellent surroundings and helpful staff. The cottages grouped around the walled garden were cosy and intimate .Great for family groups,we used the swimming pool a bit and the function room was perfect for our purposes.

We booked out all the cottages at Church Farm to accommodate a family and friends celebration weekend. There were several couples with youngsters and the availability of the pool was a real hit with all the children and some of their parents too. A great facility whether the weather is inclement or not. The games room was also well used, and we held a table tennis tournament for the adults.
All the cottages were very well equipped with good quality linen and kitchenware including a full set of sharp knives – something we rarely find in a rental property but certainly gets 10/10 from us. There is also a Smart TV in every cottage.
The space in front of the cottages is surrounded by hedgerows and gates, which is ideal, as the children could not inadvertently wander into the car park. It also provided a great communal space for everyone to enjoy socialising together. The owners lent us a gas BBQ which we made good use of, and we thank them for that.
We had the option to use the function room but happily the weather was relatively kind to us, and we did not need to decamp into this at all. However, it is a bonus to have it available if required.
We would certainly recommend this venue to anyone.

This was the third time I have visited. It’s very peaceful, especially when some of the other cottages are not occupied. The pool is lovely and warm. The cottages are really well equipped with nice bedlinen and everything you need.

Really enjoyed it. Second time here. Well equipped and nice pool. I had a midweek break and it was quiet. If it had been busier and all the cottages occupied, there might not be much privacy from the other cottages if sitting outside. Great facilities and a nice cream tea waiting with a bottle of milk.
