Very comfortable house, in a spectacular position overlooking Staffin Bay. Well equipped kitchen, good utility room for drying wet coats, boots etc!

Solas Alain exceeded our expectations. The property was very clean, well stocked, and had all the amenities we could want or need. It was very spacious and very comfortable all around. We wish we could have stayed longer. The views are beautiful and we found the dinosaur footprints at the beach the first day! We would stay again and certainly recommend it.

This place is next level. Beautiful location for exploring all of Skye. High attention to design detail and comfort. Immaculately clean, well laid out, quiet, gorgeous views, and plenty of space inside and out for relaxing. We almost didn’t want to explore Skye because it would mean leaving the beautiful house—a destination on its own. It was wonderful to come back each evening to the fabulous kitchen to cook or to sip wine/cocoa with the sunset view from the living room. Gorgeous.

Solas Alainn was just a beautiful home. The view was amazing looking out over the loch. So nice to open doors and windows to let the sea breeze in. Do not hesitate to book this home.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. There were sheep that walked about the property just off the living room and hairy highland coos in the pasture. One step out of the patio door and the cows were to the right. Beds extremely comfortable. My family of 5 could finally spread out! Very peaceful. Very beautiful.

After a very long drive from Edinburgh, we were delighted to open the doors to Solas Alain. It was larger than we imagined and absolutely immaculate. The views took our breath away and changed over the course of the day.
The unexpected highlight for me was how close it was to the Quiraing. I got up early two of the three mornings to make my way up before sunrise and found myself the only one there on the second morning, and in the middle of magical wedding dress photo shoots the first.
We took a drive out to DUNVEGAN and Neiste Point and then just watched our view from the bench outside on our return.
It was a magical place to stay and I hope to be back soon.
