Our intent was to explore Skye - a mix of driving to highlights (like castles, gardens, museums) and hiking. We found the cottage was ideally situated for this: within 45 minutes we could reach all the destinations we had in mind [excluding Sleat] and it was significantly shorter for some of them. The cottage itself is charming, offered space, had all the things we needed (including an oven and kitchen utensils to create something nice) - we have nothing to complain about and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who has similar requirements.

We licked the secluded location. When booking, we had requested separate Bens, but unfortunately, it was a double bed. From the outside, the house does not look very inviting - several things are broken, such as the rain gutter.
