We were delighted with the standard of accommodation and the beautiful location. This was the first family gathering we have had since before the COID pandemic, so it was very special. We will definitely come again,
Great location and service. Loved the isolation but knew services on hand if required. Will recommend.
We stayed in the Gamekeepers cottage which sleeps 8 and it was amazing. The quality of the accommodation was fantastic The bedrooms were great with comfy beds, great showers and the white company toiletries. The lounge area had enough seats for everyone and was well equipped. The kitchen table was big enough to seat the whole family and the kitchen had everything you need, right down to dishwasher tablets. The crockery was bone china with plenty, so you didnt need to keep washing them. The cooking knives, pans baking trays ect were of super quality too. The hot tub was fantastic and having...more
This was my second visit to Rivercatcher. I stayed in Shepherds Cottage last year, and recently Gezellig log cabin. They are both very comfortable and clean with high spec fittings, everything you need for a stress free holiday with the added bonus this year of new hot tubs. It is all very well maintained - even the car park is smart. Andy and Aled are very friendly and accommodating. The only improvement I think could be made would be better quality pillows, but that would not put me off returning. Thank you and well done to all at Rivercatcher.
Right from booking, the experience with Rivercatcher was great. We had to move our holiday twice, but it was always no trouble. The location of our cottage was perfect and the property was really lovely. It felt very homely and just made for a very relaxing holiday. We will definitely book again.
A superb cottage in a stunning location. We'll located for evening meals out if you don't want to cook. Situated alongside the River Dee it is very quiet and peaceful with great views.
We had a great time weather was sunny every day fishing was a bit sparse would definitely stay again but a bit nearer the river also enjoyed sitting in sun room but tripped up the step as there is no yellow strip to identify the step.
Just returned from a week’s break at Rivercatcher. We were blown away with the location. The river setting and mountain views were breathtaking - it was even better than the photos! The grounds and properties are kept in immaculate order by the friendly and helpful staff. It was one of the most relaxing breaks we have had which was attributed to by the location, the view, the beautifully clean, comfortable high end and well equipped log cabin and so much more. The privacy glass on the property allowed us to take in the breathtaking view both day and night ie. we never felt the need to use...more
Had a really relaxing holiday. Second time we have visited, first time in the log cabin. The only thing we would say about the cabin is the settee wasn’t very comfortable and this is personal choice we preferred to have a small dining table rather than the breakfast bar. But overall there was everything you needed and hot tub was a bonus
