Such a beautiful location with lovely views of the river and countryside. A peaceful setting to relax and enjoy nature. Highlights included seeing Kingfishers and also an Otter while fishing. The property was so comfortable and well equipped . It was perfect for a family break . Definitely 5* and Andy and Aled were very welcoming.
My husband and I had a wonderful Week at Rivercatcher again. We are return customers and usually hire Ghilles cottage for the two of us. We bought family with us this time and hired the largest cottage Cilan to house everyone comfortably. The setting is idyllic and the house is beautiful and well presented. The hot tub is a great bonus and the family dog enjoyed the run of the enclosed garden. The river is on the doorstep and offers another aspect to the holiday. We are return visitors to Rivercatcher. It’s such an idyllic setting. Absolutely everything is catered for at Rivercatcher, the welcome basket is such a lovely touch. The cabins are so well equipped. Comfortable beds, and of course the hot tub is the cherry on top. Aled on site is such a lovely gent, it’s so nice to chat to him. We are already planning our next visit.
We chose to stay at Rivercatcher on a friends recommendation for my 50th birthday and it did not disappoint! The cabins were spotless with all the items you would need, and all with a luxury touch. The views from the cabin were spectacular, and as it was so hot, we happily spent an afternoon or 2 in the secluded garden making the most of the scenery, luxury garden furniture and the hot tub. There are loads of beautiful walks nearby and access to incredible beaches. The dog had a blast and appreciated the added extras for him too. I can't rate Rivercatcher highly enough.
Fantastic multi generational stay, wonderful location right by the river, such a peaceful spot to watch the world go by. Felt remote without feeling isolated with the neighbouring properties and games room etc. We did venture out quite a bit and most attractions for the kids were 30 mins + away but that was our choice. Would love to stay again one day.
We had a fabulous time at Rivercatcher. Exactly what we wanted to chill out with our two doggies. Ghillies Cottage is perfect for 2 people with 2 doggies. It had everything we could want and more. Thank you for everything and for making our week to North Wales so enjoyable!
All we can say is wow. The cottage was amazing. Extremely clean and welcoming. Everything you could think of was in the cottage. The team were very friendly and always available to hep with any questions. The location was stunning - right by the river, in beautiful countryside. We will definitely be returning.
Third time return visit to Rivercatcher and our first in a lodge. So pleased we booked the lodge as the recently installed air conditioning was fantastic in the 30c + heat we had for most of the week! The hot tub was also amazing, relaxing in the evening looking out onto superb views,with the distant bleating of sheep. So relaxing! Rivercatcher is beautiful maintained and looked after by the dedicated team and it is an absolute credit to you all. Aled, as ever extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you!
