An invitation to a family wedding brought us to Brinkburn. We stayed at Mullins House which felt like a home from home. Clean,modern interior,fantastic facilities including thoughtful touches such as luxurious handwash. Owners were super friendly and happy to welcome our dog.
Probably the cleanest rental cottage we have stayed in. Excellent communications before and during the stay. The cottage was very cosy and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and beds were very comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden. We couldn't have asked for more.
We had a cosy, comfortable stay in this very stylishly decorated, and very clean cottage. Very well located for visiting local NT and English Heritage properties, it even has its own Priory at the bottom of the lane - got to try out the fantastic singing acoustic! Cragside is a must and within 10 minutes, Lindisfarne and beaches only an hour away. We hadn’t appreciated how busy the road directly outside the cottages is, and given that the cottage has Gr 2 listed single-glazed windows, road noise was a slight issue in the front bedroom. The cottage is located in the grounds of the Priory and Manor House and its location allows easy access to many beautiful places to visit. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.
Cuthbert House is a very comfortable, well equipped cottage in easy reach of a number of attractions in the area. We had stayed in the cottage twice before a number of years ago, and it was great to see that the cottage was well maintained, clean and clearly well looked after. Definitely not our last stay!
