Brinkburn Northumberland is the wedding, event and holiday destination in the heart of Northumberland.
Brinkburn offers modern homely self-catering accommodation, the quirkiness of canvas tipis if you are here for a celebration, dancing and dining, the spectacle of a scheduled monument, and a riverside setting.
Perfect venue in every way.
On Friday all the ladies gathered for drinks and nibbles.- plenty of space for indoor entertaining.
So beautiful for our wedding day - an intimate and compact venue.
On the Sunday we entertained approx 30 - 40 guests - the terrace was just perfect and the sun shone down.
Such an idyllic setting.
We even saw a sheep giving birth on the hillside opposite - such stunning scenery.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners/hosts. It cerrtainly met all of our expectations.
We stayed midweek- midweek for 7 days. The cottage was delightful and everything we needed was contained within it. The dedicated car parking space made it so easy and relaxing to return. Outside the walks through the field and down to the Priory were delightful. Then there is the beautiful river Coquet, tumbling down through the valley. I spent 5 days getting up early in the morning and on the water fishing in one of the most ideal locations in this part of the world.
Thank you to all that made our stay so welcome and we look forward to seeing you again.
All you needed for a comfortable stay. Would have been nice to have some maps of some local walks. The Northumberland guide was a great addition to look at the things close by
We’ve stayed at Bel for a number of years now and it’s still just as special.
It’s a beautiful cottage with a wonderful team behind it.
The location is perfect to explore Northumberland. Would highly recommend. Thank you.
Lovely location by the river. Very peaceful and a nice welcome pack.
Perfect location for exploring all the destinations on the blackboard!
Thoroughly recommended.
Thank you
The cottage itself was beautiful and in a good location.
We weren’t sure if we were supposed to get sourdough in our welcome pack as the cottage next door got it. I asked about this and one of the girls said we should and was going to send an email - we still didn’t get any.
The one negative point is that we found the beds very uncomfortable. The lack of lighting outside was also an issue.
