Stables are beautiful! More than generous on the log supply and could not ask for a comfier cosier space! However, some issues with cleanliness, the kettle was full of limescale and was unusable, we had to use one kettle between the stables and priory cottage. There were also a lot of flies in the property when we arrived. Could do with a fly catcher or something.
We stayed midweek- midweek for 7 days. The cottage was delightful and everything we needed was contained within it. The dedicated car parking space made it so easy and relaxing to return. Outside the walks through the field and down to the Priory were delightful. Then there is the beautiful river Coquet, tumbling down through the valley. I spent 5 days getting up early in the morning and on the water fishing in one of the most ideal locations in this part of the world. Thank you to all that made our stay so welcome and we look forward to seeing you again.
All you needed for a comfortable stay. Would have been nice to have some maps of some local walks. The Northumberland guide was a great addition to look at the things close by
We’ve stayed at Bel for a number of years now and it’s still just as special. It’s a beautiful cottage with a wonderful team behind it. The location is perfect to explore Northumberland. Would highly recommend. Thank you.
