This is the third time we have stayed. The accommodation is absolutely spotless, comfortable, well thought out and stylish. The location is quite special regardless of time of year or weather; tranquil and feels like a different world as you dip down to the river. Our dog adores it too. We will be coming back again and again.
We were here for a wedding on site. The whole feeling from arrival to finish was just pure relaxation. The cottage was amazing and the welcome pack added an extra touch. The staff that we interacted with were polite and went the extra mile for us. We were even fortunate enough to get a tour of the changes on site and are already talking about returning with our family.
Blakey House is as lovely as the photos on the website led us to believe it would be. On arrival we parked between two beautiful low beech hedges, not a concrete post in sight. The lovely front garden is thoughtfully planted, even for an April stay. It bodes well for summer with climbing roses reaching up the front of the house. The tiredness from our journey lifted on walking into the lovely kitchen with dining area beyond. Cuthbert House was a lovely, clean, well equipped cottage in an ideal location. From booking to leaving the customer service was excellent. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.
We cannot fault the property or the attention to our needs by the owners. We will return hopefully for a longer stay
Such a stunning cottage if you love the peace and quiet in the most glorious of settings. This is an extremely well equipped cottage, so pretty and perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all. A very generous basket of essentials on arrival and some beautiful fresh flowers greeted us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, linens, bedding and dressing gowns were of excellent quality. The English Heritage Priory is a stones throw away and a beautiful river runs at the side of the cottage.
