Enjoyed a lovely few days at Ty Twt the whole place was superb everything you needed and more ,felt very at home , great location for walks beaches and peace. Beautiful rolling countryside yet not far from beaches , Excellent facilities would thoroughly recommend.

Our stay at Ty Twt was wonderful - I booked on impulse and didn’t do much research, turns out I found a gem! The location is brilliant, gorgeous countryside and less than 20 mins to beautiful beaches, and loads to do nearby. The cottage itself was cosy, rustic, clean and comfy and my two children absolutely adored it. They loved finding the secret door. Hugh and Jude were really friendly and helpful and there was so much to do there that if you didn’t want to leave, you really don’t have to! It really was perfect.

Visited for the third time. Wildernest never disappoints - we love the comfortable and clean accommodation, reading a book in the evening with the wood fire burning, watching the birds from the window at breakfast, the peaceful location, wonderful grounds to explore and days out in West Wales. Would 100% recommend.

Ty Twt was plenty large enough for two adults and a child. Warm and cosy, light and airy and had everything we needed. The weather was pretty awful during our stay, but the trampoline in the barn and the table football in the Long Barn, meant my son had plenty of dry space to burn off energy. We all thoroughly enjoyed cooking our tea and toasting marshmallows over the open fire in the Long Barn, next to Ty Twt. This is a large, communal area, for guests to use and really made a big difference in the wet weather. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. If you have family members that have additional learning needs, then speak to the hosts about the new Care Farm they are planning. Specialist accommodation is not yet available, but we did manage to arrange some one-to-one willow work sessions for our blind daughter. She definitely wants to come back for more.

We stayed in Ty Twt for a long weekend of total rest and relaxation. From the minute we pulled up to be welcomed by Hugh and Jude we totally switched off. They have put so much effort into creating a wonderful natural place, beautifully restored, clean and bright with everything we needed. The birdsong was divine and the grounds idyllic. It has been so carefully designed that despite there being other guests we felt like we were staying on our our private estate. We did not need Hugh or Jude during our stay but knew they were not far away and were willing to help in any way they could. Highly recommended. What a place!

We wouldn't have changed a thing. Well equipped with everything we needed. It was very peaceful, quiet and relazing. Beautiful gardens and little areas to explore. Great location and near to the coast.

Stayed for four nights with two children in the beautiful Ty Twyt. The decor is simple rustic Scandinavian style. It felt like the perfect retreat. The cottage / cabin was lovely and warm so we didn’t need to light the wood burning stove. So pleased that recycling is a serious business here. They only put one bag out for landfill each fortnight- something we should all aim for! Finding the trampoline in the barn was a hidden bonus but do beware of the rooster as he can be quite fierce. Loved our stay and will definitely book to come back again.

We only came for 3 days but the location and the complete escapism were a total joy. The property was well equipped and topped off with stunning views. The buttercup field was my favourite space to watch the sunrise and sunset and there was so much to do within the local area to fill the hours in-between (hiking, exploring, seaside, waterfalls). 3 days just didn't seem enough. I will certainly be returning.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Ty Twt. Nice walks on the doorstep and a short drive to the beach at New Quay. Great to have a log burner and the beds were super comfy. Our young daughter loved the chickens coming to her window in the morning!

Magical Easter retreat. The cottages have been meticulously curratted with careful attention to detail where it really counts. In contrast to the minimal internal aesthetic the gardens are abundant with spring llife bursting forth at every turn. The Crawford's have created something really special - classy, clean cottages nestled in a wild woodland paradise. We'll most certainly return!

Our second visit to Wilderness as it's the perfect place to escape, switch off and relax - we stayed in Ty Twt this time, and enjoyed the extra space compared to our previous visit in the Airstream. The accommodation is comfortable and equipped with everything that you'd need. Lots of great places to visit for day trips close by, but also somewhere you can hide away in for the day. Perfect!

Ty Twt was a cosy and comfortable abode for my wife Ruth and I to enjoy our recent nuptials. A hot meal upon arrival and breakfast basket meant we didn’t need to worry about catering ahead of time. The food was wonderful and very much value for money. Hugh and June were lovely hosts and their property is gorgeous and peaceful. We would recommend Wildernest to anyone looking to escape their day to day life and find some peace and serenity in nature again.

Me and my family had a fabulous few days away at Wildernest (stopping in Ty Twt). The location was idyllic. It was so peaceful, we were surrounded by nature and yet only 15 minutes away from New Quay and Aberaeron. Our host Hugh met us upon arrival and was there if we needed anything during our stay. The accommodation was perfect for the 3 of us and there was everything you could ever need. Lovely touches like wood for the fire burner, a vase of flowers and a pint of milk in the fridge for when we arrived. We had daily visits from the farm animals as well as Jimi the dog! It was very homely and a very relaxing break. Would definitely go again.
