A wonderful location but would have been disappointed with the overall experience had the sun not shone all week.

I'm sorry you felt there were aspects which disappointed you. Our location is breathtaking and we spent countless hours and Euros looking after our stunning grounds, gardens and charming cottages. We heated our swimming pool so it was nice and warm for September and you enjoyed wall to wall sunshine. There was a problem with the internet due to the internet provider having a fault with their lines - this was out of our control but we bent over backwards to persuade Orange to fix everything for your stay, so I'm both perplexed and disappointed that you felt things were not good enough. We discounted the price as there were only two of you and I honestly don't know what more any of us could have done for you.

The location of La Garenne is truly wonderful, with beautiful views down the Blavet river, and a tremendously peaceful setting. There’s also a decent pool, and access to great cycling on the towpath along the river. All in all a lovely stay.

WE HAVE BEEN HERE A FEW TIMES!
VERY QUIET
WE CYCLED ALONG THE TOWPATH INTO HENNEBONT
PLENTY OF WILDLIFE SEEN IN THE AREA
ALSO VISITED THE WATER PARK WHICH IS LOCATED NEARBY

La Chaumiere is THE perfect cottage in the most spectacular location. There's a gorgeous covered area that allows you to see down over the field to the river below. If you are a fan of wild swimming the river is crystal clear with lilies and otters and damoiselles.

A stunning property in a beautiful area of rural France. The river is a minute walk away at the bottom of the property and can be seen whilst sitting and enjoying the peace and quiet. It’s a 5-10 minute drive to the nearest village where you’ll find a decent supermarket and boulangerie. .
